Wonderful cabin. Very comfortable and so nice to be able to walk down the stairs to the deck and enjoy the river. Jim was very good communicator and everything was perfect.

The deck right by the river was the best with some fun with fishing. The house was clean and stocked with everything needed. Communication with host was streamlined and very responsive.

What a serene riverfront property! The location is perfect for fishing, hiking, taking a short walk to Strawberry for a drink, or simply relaxing on the deck with a good book. We have a big family, including two dogs, and everyone had an amazing stay. Thank you, Jim and family, for your wonderful hospitality. We can’t wait to come back!

Our family of 6 adults and 4 kids had a really FABULOUS time at the Briner's! Weather was gorgeous and the house was super spacious and comfy. It was also easy walking to the Strawberry Store and restaurant which everyone liked. Jim was extremely responsive when I had questions. Probably one of the best Hosts I have ever dealt with. LOVED the deck by the river. If you go, definitely bring your own small, propane only fire bowl since wood fires are a big no-no in the mountains. House is original sugar pine paneling so it can be dark in the inside spaces but there is overhead track lighting. There are lots of games to play for everyone . Kids' favorite was Cat Bingo! Bring extra dish towels and zip locks, foil and saran if you are cooking for a large group! My family and I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Many thanks to the Briners!

My family had an amazing weekend at this cozy cabin. It was warm upon entering and everything was just as described from the photos and description - you just need to bring yourselves, your clothes and food. There was plenty of space for 10 of us and two dogs. We especially loved the porch area and the river right in the backyard! Host was very friendly and easy to contact. Would stay here again...I'm sure it would be a fun in the summer as well as Pinecrest Lake is nearby!

Jim is very friendly and accomodating. The property location on the creek is exceptional - you get your own private beach access with a patio/deck right next to it. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. The property was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our trip. The location was beautiful and made for a relaxing getaway.Jim was an excellent host—easy to reach, responsive, clear in his communication, and very knowledgeable about the area. He provided helpful recommendations and made the entire experience smooth from start to finish.The nearby lake was fantastic .For future guests, I would recommend bringing beach towels, as the towels provided are intended for shower use. It tends to get cold in the evenings, although the cabin’s heating system works very well and kept us comfortable. Plenty of local hikes and things to see. Also about two hours from Yosemite. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a clean, well-equipped cabin in a beautiful setting.

Our family of 10 spent 5 nights at this great cabin and loved every minute of our stay. Jim was the perfect host, available via text message throughout our stay, helping us survive a power outage and 5’ of snow. The generator kicked in right away and the heaters kept us warm and dry. Jim even came to help shovel us out once the snow stopped. It was a fun adventure!

This was a lovely cozy cabin. Nothing fancy, just everything you need and a really cool riverside location. Communication with Jim was also excellent. We happened to be there during a snowstorm, and he was very helpful to make sure we navigated it safely. We’d love to try to go back in the summer :)

We had an absolutely amazing few days at the Briner cabin. Sitting on the decks with a gorgeous view of the river allows you to relax and unwind. We even saw a family of deer. Hope to be back:)
