Room for the whole family and more! Huge four-season craftsman, just a short walk to Schroon Lake town and beach. Bring your family and friends to this comfortable vintage beauty with year round lake views.

The roomy interior has plenty of space to kick back and relax - 7 bedrooms and 2 full baths, with a massive living room and dining room, along with rec room, an expansive front porch, large outbuilding, bonfire-pit and patio area with a gas grill. Enjoy morning coffee on the porch with lake views - walks into the village for shopping, a great meal and a pint - bike rides around the lake - hikes on nature trails - exploring 9 miles of crystal-clear lake - bonfires with smores.

The large private property is just minutes from town center with several restaurants, bars, shops, ice cream, and of course the #1 beach in the Adirondacks, Schroon Lake Town Beach, for swimming, kayaking, and boating on pristine, crystal-clear, 9-mile long Schroon Lake. Bring your water toys as the outbuilding has plenty of space for your trailer and there is parking for up to 6 vehicles. Come make yourself at home and create memories that will last a lifetime!

We enjoyed our stay in beautiful Schroon Lake. Great location, spacious, clean, and comfortable. John was extremely accommodating and quick to answer any questions. Hope to stay again in the future.

Coming with our kids and grandkids we had plenty of room and were very comfortable. So clean! The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. The view of the lake was beautiful and the charming town was close enough to walk to for a meal or just coffee. A fun family memory-maker. Our host John was very helpful and responded quickly to any question we had. We loved this place,

It was very large and super comfortable! Beds were great! Super nice laundry room with ironing board and iron if needed. 2 coffee pots one kuerig type other cone. Also, an electric hot water heater for tea. Very convenient location could walk to The Lodge or into town! A beautiful view of the Lake, perfect for us!

We loved our stay at this house. First of all - very clean! The bedrooms were well set up with all the comforts one would need. The hose is very roomy and the furniture is plentiful for everyone to have a place to hang out and all quite comfortable. Great kitchen and a nice outdoor space also. We were so close to the lake and it’s just a short walk into town. There were 10 of us and we would all vote to stay here again.

We had a great stay. We were a large group and this house was perfect for us. It was spacious, everyone had their own room and there were several spaces large enough for us all to gather and hangout. The house is as described and well equipped. We enjoyed the view and being walking distance to downtown.

The house is large and spacious so it was perfect for our family gathering. There was plenty of space both inside and out to play a variety of games or to spend time as a group. The town, public beach, and public docks are all a short walk away or there is plenty of parking if you need to drive. The owners were quick to respond when we had a question. Overall it was a great experience.

If you have a large group, this is the place for you! The house has five bedrooms upstairs with a great laundry room and spacious bathroom. (Could benefit from a drying rack) We appreciated having an iron and ironing board. Our families loved getting cozy in the open space upstairs watching shows as others were enjoying the extremely stately living room. The mainfloor has two bedrooms and a quiet bonus room. This house has so much space both inside and out!The kitchen had everything we needed and the extra fridge was perfect. The home is an easy walk, about 10 minutes to the public beach and downtown. Highly recommend!Thank you Hoffman Lake House for such a memorable week!

Lovely Stay

We had a great time staying at the lake house. The house was very clean, comfortable and large enough that everyone felt very spread out. I was afraid of the house being hot in the summer, but it was very cool. The house was exactly as it was listed and we enjoyed our stay.

Family Time

It was the perfect house for a family gathering. House was big enough to comfortably fit 4 families and had everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay. It was walkable to town and easy access to local attractions. We spent time on the large front porch enjoying the view of the lake. The host promptly answered any questions we had and was very nice. I highly recommend this property.

Great Family Vaca

Our family of 3 pre-teens, 3 teens and 4 adult couples couldn’t have picked a better place for a family vacation. A great house in a perfect location that surpassed all of our needs. Hoffman Lakeview helped us make lots of forever memories.

Family Adventure

The house was just what we were looking for, for this year’s family adventure. Perfect size for 8 adults and 5 kids arranging in age from 11 to 16. Walking distance to the beach for the girls and plenty of near by hikes for the boys. Stewart’s in town is amazing from dealing with large crowds Saturday night looking for ice cream to making sure the entire town had coffee Wednesday morning via generators after a huge power outage from Tuesday night’s storm. Host was great to work with.

House was great. Location to town very good. View of lake , not as good because of cars and buses across street but still OK. The only disappointment was that there was no hot tub as listed. Great house for large group

Amazing Getaway with Friends

My friends and I stayed here and it was amazing. The weather wasn’t great but the house was big enough to accommodate us all inside where we played games and cooked awesome meals. We all loved how we weren’t on top of each other. We were sad to leave. Would definitely consider staying here again!
