Beautiful mountian cabin nestled in the woods of the Coosawatee River Resort. Enjoy a deck slide, hot tub, fire pit, game room and deer watching from the deck. Sleep comfortably for up to 8 guests, 3 full bathrooms & a kitchen equipped with all cooking needs! We affectionately call it the ‘Off Duty Deer Cabin’ because the deer are plentiful and the rest & relaxation are easy to come by after a fun-filled day exploring the beautiful Blue Ridge area.

The cabin has 2BR/3BA + loft that sleeps 8 guests. We have a King bedroom upstairs with an en-suite bathroom with shower and tub. The main level has a Queen bed and bathroom with a bath tub and shower. In the upstairs open loft there are two single beds and in the basement there is Sleeper Sofa and bathroom with walk-in shower. A Pack-n-Play is available for use too.

The cozy main living room is spacious with a comfy leather sectional, smart tv, gas fire place, board games, puzzles & books. You’ll feel like you’re amongst the trees with a beautiful view of the surrounding woods.

Our Game room is located in the terrace level basement that includes a ping pong table, old-school arcade game, darts, dual basketball hoops, ring toss, smart tv, electric fireplace and sleeper sofa. It’s so much fun for everyone!

The upper deck has a gorgeous wooded view including patio seating, rocking chairs, and a ring toss game. It makes the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or wine from one of the many local vineyards.

A Porch swing is located under the deck which makes for great deer watching and taking in the fresh mountain air.

Backyard has a Fire Pit with seating for eight and a seven person Hot Tub with a Peacful wooded view!

Kitchen is well equipped with drinkware, flatware and cooking essentials, pots and pans, baking sheets, Crock-Pot, blender French press & drip coffee maker. Charcoal grill and utensils also available.

Dining room table has seating for 6-8 and the Breakfast bar has 3 comfy barstools.

4 Smart TVs available with Roku streaming capabilities in the each bedroom, living room and basement game room.

Free fiber optic WIFI available up to 100mbps. Fast and reliable!

Full size washer and dryer is located in the basement available.

We’re located in the beautiful Coosawattee River Resort that offers access to a year-round indoor heated pool, kiddie pool, 2 outdoor pools seasonally, arcade room, tennis, basketball and pickle ball courts with provided equipment, putt putt, and picnic areas, playground, walking trails and best of all the Coosawatee River all within driving distance from the cabin. Guests bring your own water gear to enjoy access to the Coosawattee River.

A catch and release pond in the community is a 10 minute drive away so we keep two poles and tackle for you to use.

There is parking for up to 4 vehicles under the carport and driveway. It’s all paved roads to get to our cabin.

And one of the best parts is the beautiful nature that surrounds us including the deer that roam freely around the property. We’re not called the ‘Off Duty Deer’ for nothing.
