BEAUTIFUL LAKE VIEW RETREAT “SUNSET OASIS!” Enjoy magical evenings watching the gorgeous sunsets reflecting Lake Tenkiller at Sunset Oasis! Newly renovated and sits on top of Pettit Bay Mountain — Lake Tenkiller in the foothills of the Ozark’s. Perfect for romantic weekend getaways, family get togethers, bird (bluebirders) & wildlife observation, fishing trips, etc. Located less than a mile from entrance to Pettit Bay Recreation Area and the new Bluewater Bay Marina. NEW OWNERSHIP. Amazing view on top of PETTIT BAY MOUNTAIN! This spacious 2000 sq. ft. lake-view getaway open floor plan with two living areas and separate dining room is perfect for families and easily sleeps 10 with plenty of room to spare. The master bedroom suite with new linens & bedding has a queen-size bed, shower and soaker tub; the second bedroom has a queen-size bed and the third bedroom has two twin bunk beds. There are two queen-size pullout couches, one in the living room and the other in the family room. The dining area has a kitchen table that seats 8 with an additional 3 bar stools at the counter. There is plenty of room to set up the 6-foot folding table and chairs that are provided should you need additional seating. From the family room & kitchen you can view Lake Tenkiller and the amazing sunsets through the two large picture windows or you can venture out onto the 600 square ft deck to take in the beautiful views. The deck has two round tables with seating, two rocking chairs and additional lounging chairs in shed. Casey our property manager has the keys. Additional amenities include a fire pit, family games, a covered car port for your vehicles or boat and a small screened in porch to store your wet gear from a day on the water. New GRILL to enjoy delicious BBQ. Access to Lake Tenkiller is less than a mile away at Pettit Bay Recreation Area and Bluewater Bay Marina. Tahlequah is only 15 minutes away if you are looking for additional things to do or places to eat. If you love the outdoors, fishing, bird watching and wildlife and want to get away from the hustle and bustle of city living for a day or a month then this is the place for you.

5 STARS! The host was quick to respond. Beautiful location, peaceful. The details by the host were top notch! Homie feel. The view is great! We sat on the deck watching the chickens eat some of the deer food we left out (yes! The host has deer food you can put out). Will book again

Had a family Christmas party there, great views of the lake. The weather was very cold so we didn’t venture outside much but did enjoy inside games, plenty of room for family of 13.

Our family stayed at Sunset Oasis over Thanksgiving break. 2 parts of our family recently moved to the area so we figured the rest of us would road trip up for the holiday. The house was big enough for 7 of us to sleep comfortably and host another 9 without feeling too crowded. There are 2 living room areas with plenty of seating, a dining room table and bar area so there was more than enough seating. The outdoor patio area was also a beautiful backdrop for our family pictures. The views, espcially the sunsets, were amzing! The house was loaded with any and all supplies we needed and the host was very responsive and helpful. All in all it was wonderful trip and we are hoping to be able to come back and visit during the summer so we can enjoy some lake activities.

This is a truly delightful property! The decor was so tastefully done. It was bright and airy and the lake views were splendid. The pictures don't do justice to the actual interiors. It is so much more prettier in person. It was so peaceful and relaxing and a good place to get away from it all! Every morning we had a group of free range chickens and roosters greeting us. Two beautiful robins were frequent visitors, a plethora of birds, squirrels, deer etc.There were plenty of entertainment options to keep our family busy! A good selection of books for adults and kids alike, games, DVD's, Wii games etc. The kitchen was well stocked. Everything was pristine and immaculate! We truly enjoyed our stay!

FAMILY REUNION

We had an amazing stay. I can not express how wonderful the view was! Every message was answered timely, the house was immaculate. The kids had a wonderful time watching the deer and baby birds. And no better seat on the lake for fireworks!!!

Killer view of lake Tenkiller

The pictures posted of the view over the lake don’t do the property justice. It’s just as pretty as it looks if not prettier.The drive down to the docks for pizza or boat rentals is quick and easy. You’re really close to town and stores yet still out in the wilderness.

Outstanding!!!

The property was beautiful inside and out! The attention to detail made the experience even better. Warm, cozy blankets were ideal for nature watching from a huge bay window! The quiet neighborhood was great for sleeping in in the mornings. Our kids spent tons of time hanging out in the hammock. Casey, the property manager, was incredibly helpful and sweet. Highly recommend! Planning on returning! FIVE STARS all around!

PERFECT LAKE RETREAT

This was the perfect lake house/retreat! We rented this "cabin" for my annual sibling get-together. There was 9 of us total! Before & after booking, the host was very communicative & gracious enough to allow us a late check out (since we were coming from out of state & wanted to spend as much time with family as possible). I can never thank them enough for the extra hours & how much that meant to me & my family. Casey (the property manager, I believe) messaged during our stay to answer my questions & make sure we were comfortable & had everything we needed. There were lots of beds/sofa-beds/bunks so everyone had a comfortable and clean place to sleep: two queen size beds, 4 bunks, & 2 sofa beds. The house was fully stocked with bath & beach towels, spices, dishes and cookware (Even griddles & specialty pans & TWO grills) and plenty of regular dishes (cups, plates, silverware) - so we were fully stocked & comfortable. The "welcome book" event mentioned having some old dishes (butter bowls etc) that we could use if needed. The TV room was great (both the views & TV) & we enjoyed the large amount of space that the living & main/dining room offered for our group. The dining table was perfect so we could all eat together, & was the perfect spot for board games for us. The bathrooms were stocked with shampoo, conditioner, & body wash - as well as hand soap & toilet paper. We honestly didnt need anything. 10/10 recommend this rental & hope to come back! & those views!!!!!

Family and Friends Lake/Float trip weekend

We wanted to find a place close to the lake and close to the Illinois River. This place was perfect. We rented a boat from Six Shooter and we were able to load everyone on at Blue Water Marina. We are dinner one night at Piddle's Cajun Grill. Food was good (lots of fried options which isn't really our thing) and had a fun atmosphere. Floated the river the following day and it was great to come back to a nice house with AC and a washer and dryer. Teenage girls played board games and watched old DVDs. We used the kitchen multiple times and it was stocked with everything we needed. Only thing I would change is the door to the master bathroom. It doesn't really allow for privacy and light from the skylight comes through the glass into the bedroom. We are early risers anyways but doesn't allow people to sleep in if they wanted to. Back porch is amazing and we spent a lot of time out there. Loved the place and we will definitely be back!

Our first trip to Tenkiller Lake

What a beautiful property, we absolutely enjoyed our views! The house is very roomy, the two living rooms are perfect for family and friends gathering. Everything was clean and organized with lots of extra towels, blankets and pillows. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need! We will definitely be back and recommend Sunset Oasis to our friends!

Great Lake view stay!

This house was better stocked than any rental we have ever stayed in! They thought of everything. There is a ton of space for large family gatherings and everything was clean and nice. We were very impressed and loved watching the wildlife and playing all of the games and watching movies. We appreciate their attention to detail.

We had stayed here twice via VRBO and fell in love with the extraordinary views of Lake Tenkiller in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains. We have hired Casey Spencer as our property manager to assist or answer any local questions you may have. Our hope is that you will fall in love with this property as we did the first time you experience the spectacular sunsets and lake views overlooking the beautiful Pettit Bay at Tenkiller Lake.
