Amazing little cabin! So clean, cozy, and quiet. Definitely recommend if you are looking to unplug, rest and relax, it is the perfect place for that. Absolutely enjoyed our time and will definitely return and refer friends and family!

Perfect size for the two of us. The tall stools with the dining set felt unsafe for us likely due to being seniors. Found sitting on the porch facing the woods very pleasant. it had a table we used as an alternative. Decorated very nicely throughout. Quite, peaceful, Many scenic drives nearby. Beds are big and comfortable. Endless number of bathroom linens and abundant toiletries.

Nice Getaway Place

We wanted to get away for a few days after the holidays, and this was the perfect place. The cabin was very clean with nice amenities. The owner was very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

Fall getaway

My grandson and I enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Very clean and cozy. Unfortunately it rained the whole weekend so we couldn’t use the fire pit but loved sleeping under a metal roof and listening to the rain. Loved the string lights hanging outside.

Quaint cabin

The cabin is off the road at the end of the road, very quiet and secluded. It was very relaxing. Our first day it rained and we were offered another night at 50% off.

Halfmoon Hideaway was built as a vision to be passed on to our kids one day. A relaxing cabin set in a natural setting, built entirely by your hosts. We wanted to have a vacation rental and could never find just the right one to buy, so we built our own, by hand (without previous experience). We could not be happier with the result, and we know you will love it too!

The property was built with hand cut lumber from local trees and planed by hand right on location. Your hosts worked evenings and weekends to build Halfmoon Hideway to be the special relaxing home away from home. We didn't choose this property, it kind of chose us, and we know you will love it as much as we do.
