Unobstructed lake views from living areas. Restaurants & activities in minutes

Raccoon Lagoon is a lakefront log cabin with 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, and 2 living areas. Dogs are welcome at this level lakefront home with a private dock, hot tub, and pool table. The main living area is an open concept combining the kitchen, dining, and living room. Each has an amazing, unobstructed view of the lake and state park through the floor-to-ceiling windows. So much room for activities!!

When you slide open the door, you have one of the best views on the lake from the deck, where there is another 8 person table.

The basement game room has 2 sets of sliding glass doors and view of the lake. There is a seating area and pool table with a smart tv that can be turned for viewing from the Aspen Sundance Hot Tub, which has room for 7-8, but 4 very comfortable seats. This hot tub is Sundance's largest non-lounge spa. https://www.sundancespas.com/en-us/aspen-880-series/Aspen.html

From the game room, you can walk out to level all the way to the dock back yard. New for 2022 is a stone fire pit, surrounded by Adirondack chairs.

The private dock has one slip but cleats on either side. It also has a water seat and a ladder to the water. The dock is only guaranteed Memorial through Labor Day but we always try to get it out early and leave it out until we are legally allowed.

Every bedroom has a smart tv for rainy days or teenagers whom have had it with family time.

Bed linens and towels are provided with the rental.

I've stayed at this property before. I love that it is lake front and pet friendly - if my pup doesn't go, I don't go! It's centrally located to restaurants, shopping and Bill's Marine boat rentals. We enjoyed smores and hot dogs on the fire pit. The hot tub is very relaxing after an adventurous day kayaking.

Lake Front Beautiful

We have stayed at this lake front property through the years. The unobstructed lake view is the best. The master bathroom has been remodeled and was terrific! Kitchen is well stocked and host Mimi was very accommodating. Highly recommend.

Great location and views!

Good times! We enjoyed the lake and home, which was just a few steps from the local creamery and donut shop, and a few minute boat ride to several on the lake locations and restaurants that allowed you to dock and walk right up. Host was responsive and helpful when needed.

Great Experience

Visited cabin for the easter weekend. Great place with lovely lake view. Fully loaded with all listed amenities. The host is extremely understanding and always responded promptly. We had a really great time. 5-star experience from check-in to check-out.

It was a beautiful house, very easy access to water. Loved the fact we could have our extended pet family with us. Very nice family accents (pictures, games). Mimi was very accessible and responsive to requests with absolutely no questions. Our only issue was the boat traffic which did not help with fishing and the algae around the dock which made swimming-floating a little creepy. We heard it may be from the geese, heard that from the tackle shop. The house was excellent and the 2 dishwashers were an absolute brilliant idea.

A Wonderful Time

We had a wonderful time staying at Racoon Lagoon. It was the site of our family vacation this year. We enjoyed having the lake in our backyard to swim, float and dock our pontoon boat. The large backyard was fun for playing games and for having campfires at night. The house was well-equipped with dishes, glasses, silverware and other extras too. It was very comfortable for our family vacation. We had a fantastic time!

What an amazing week we spent at Raccoon Lagoon! First and foremost, Mimi is an incredible host
 friendly, responsive and helpful! The home is spacious, clean and beautifully decorated with outstanding lake views and all of the amenities to make a stay comfortable and relaxing. Standouts include excellent mattresses, a FULLY equipped kitchen, cozy furniture and abundant outdoor spaces which offer a fire pit, hot tub, lake toys and a wrap around deck with a grill and fire wood! Pet friendly is also a huge bonus! We can’t wait to return to Deep Creek Lake and Raccoon Lagoon!

Perfect View

Racoon Lagoon has the perfect view of the lake which makes this one of my favorite houses to visit. It's conveniently located to restaurants, shopping and a straight shot to Bill's Marina. The open floor plan makes it easy for entertaining. The 5 bedrooms easily accommodates my family and allows for adult and teen privacy. The master bath is beautiful with double vanities and oversized tile shower. The new hot tub is great for relaxing after a day on the lake. We will be back next year for more memories.

Thanksgiving Get Away

We had a good time and the house was very nice. It fit our planned experience. Unfortunately we were not able to get the gas fireplace to work in the game room, which made that area and bedrooms very chilly. We used the portable heater to make it tolerable and lots of blankets. A couple of the sliding glass doors did not open or stuck badly. We made it work. All in all we had a good time.

Honoring the 1 year anniversary of my father's passing

Raccoon Lagoon was perfect! It was exactly as it described and depicted on VRBO. The location, the amenities, yard, fire pit, the dock...I could go on. We had one slight issue with the hot tub. I called the Help Line listed on the fridge and Mimi answered on the second ring. She and I were able to come up with a solution and all was well. She could NOT have been more helpful and accommodating. We hope to visit again this summer.

Wonderful family vacation spot

Our family of 10 spent a week at Raccoon Lagoon over the 4th of July. We loved the house, perfect to fit all of us. The kitchen had everything possible you could want to cook for a large group. Having 2 dishwashers plus an extra fridge really helped also. All of the bedrooms were spacious and beds super comfy plus plenty of nice bath towels were provided. We rented a boat for the week from Bill's marina and kept it the home's dock. Unlike many of the houses we saw around the lake,it was a super easy short walk to our dock with no stairs to contend with. Mimi, the owner was super to work with and very responsive to any questions or issues we had. We also took advantage of the nearby state parks to hike and golfing at Lodestone. Pizza from Brenda's is an absolute must!. The only negative I can come up with is that the house sits on a very busy road. We didn't hear the traffic at all in house nor in the back yard but I was disappointed that I couldn't walk around the area. Though the shoulder was very wide I didn't feel it would be safe to walk.

Best fire pit experience we've had. This was our 5th year at Deep Creek, first at this house. Only downside was highway in the back (so a challenge to take a walk) and hard to get boat in pier due to crazy choppy water due to heavy boat traffic. Loved hot tub. Never did pool or ping pong but that's because it was perfect weather & we were in the boat every day. Celebrated 3 birthdays on the outside porch. Mama Mia what fun!
