Amazing multi-level property with rustic decor, 3/4 wrap around porch, fire pit & more! Pup-Friendly!. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. We are located within 15 minutes of the most beautiful wineries (The Cottage, Frogtown, Wolf Mountain, Kaya and many more). Just a minute`s drive to amazing waterfalls, swimming and hiking (Desoto, Dicks Creek, Helton Creek, Blood Mountain).
The cabin was perfect for our stay. It was close enough to go to events but far enough away to enjoy the quit area. The cabin was easy to locate and we had no issues while staying there. The hosts have tons of items for you ranging from a full kitchen, extra blankets, games, reading material, and a great fire pit.
We loved the easy assess to cabin, cleanness, and the layout. I felt like the glass doors on the bottom floor needed some window treatment since I was the one using it. And the chairs at the dining table on main floor were very uncomfortable. But that's just my thoughts. My friends had no complaints!!!!
A little disappointed. Not enough room for family of 7 to eat together or sit in living room area. Ran out of paper towels, dish towels and trash bags and had to buy some. No foil or plastic wrap, only parchment paper. Felt like the knives, cookie sheets etc⊠need to be replaced. Had a new grill outside which was awesome, but no brush to clean it. Bathroom door on main level does not latch. Cute place for sure but need more supplies for a family.
This cabin was an amazing break from the holiday stress. The location and amenities at this cabin were great. We were all able to relax and have a stress free vacation even with 4 Children under the age of 8. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to unwind and relax.
Not a bad place for 2 days we stayed. However, the water was yellow gave an odd odor. We were told it was well water. The remote in the bedroom did not work. If you are going to rely on streaming for tv, please have internet bandwidth to support it. The tv buffered most of the time.
We loved this cabin and highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the National Forest but with full facilities! Saw a mama bear and cubs several evenings from the deck!!! Highlight of the trip is the proximity to local towns and vineyards!
The property location and size were good. The property was far from being clean. The amenities were very questionable, appliances, pots and pans, plates, etc, were below average.
Easy check in, clean house and quick access to Desoto Falls, where we hiked our first morning there. Took a day trip into Dahlonega and spent the second evening roasting marshmallows over the firepit in the back yard. Fun time had by all!
Our stay was amazing. We were looking for a location where we could unplug and relax for a week. This is truly a cabin in the woods with plenty of room and a comfortable stay. From the wrap around porch to the backyard fire pit everything was as described. If your looking to relax and unplug, this is your place.
Hideaway was a home away from home for us.
Being in this cabin allowed us not only to see all the amazing things that Georgia has to offer but also allowed us to be together as a family.
Thank you for your amazing hospitality and recommendations.
We were able to see and eat in many amazing places and will definitely be back!

This cabin was perfect for our family-our adult children with their spouses (and our fur children)
It was decorated for Christmas down to the plates!
Located close to the cute and fun towns of Helen and Dahlonega
Very nice, quiet area
Beautiful Cabin in the Woods Close to Helen and Dahlonaga
This lovely cabin is ideal for three adults as it has separate floors with beds on each level and private baths for each. It is decorated charmingly with an elegant and cozy style that makes each room feel special. Every possible guest need has been anticipated, from warm throw blankets by the couch to extra pillows in the closet plus the quality of everything was new and excellent. The beds were plush, the recliner couches were amazing, and even the holiday dishes were charming and beautiful! The area was quiet (except for one morning when the neighbors were firing guns) and scenic from every window. The fireplace was a great addition, too, although the timer went off very quickly. It is just absolutely lovely! They were also very prompt and responsive to emails, offering info about the Keurig and local amenities so we could plan everything in advance. Check-in and out was a breeze and we would absolutely return! I wish the showers had a handheld wand for older adults and the tv remote had instructions because we had some trouble with that. Also, the firepit needed sand to stabilize the rocks. Two of us fell out there because the rocks were so unstable. Overall an amazing place that is lovingly decorated and meticulously cared for in a stunningly beautiful location. We can't wait to come back!
