Located just one block from Oceancrest Pier and a pair of public beach access crossovers, A Pier to Sea features a backyard oasis with a hot tub and private pool! Beat the heat by jumping into the pool or take the one minute stroll over to the beach! You can even bring your furry friend as this vacation rental allows up to one dog under 30 lbs per reservation.

The Living Space

Accented by shiplap lined walls and ceilings, this coastal themed space will make you feel right at home while you enjoy everything the island has to offer on your vacation. A pair of couches and recliners circle the flat screen smart TV so there is room for everyone to comfortably enjoy a movie following a day soaking up the sun.

The dining area houses a high-top table with seating for six to go along with three additional barstools overlooking the front deck.

The kitchen offers stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and is accented with white cabinets providing you with everything you need to feed the whole crew.

Where You'll Sleep

The master bedroom overlooks the backyard pool and grants you entry to all the fun through the sliding glass door. To go along with the queen sized bed, this suite includes a private bathroom with a dual vanity, a mounted smart TV and excess space to store your belongings in the closet and dresser.

The second bedroom also features a queen bed and plenty of storage space!

Past the shared hallway bathroom, the final bedroom is finished with a twin-over-double bunk bed, flat screen TV and closet space for your essentials.

Outdoor Living Areas

To go along with the hot tub and backyard pool that is lined with lounge furniture, there is plenty of room to toss the football or play your favorite game in the grassy area parallel to the pool.

A large wrap-around deck offers yet another space to sit back and soak up the sun as you listen to the waves crash along the shoreline in the distance!

Family Fun

We enjoyed being close to the beach and soaking in the hot tub. Would love to go back when the weathers a little warmer so we could enjoy the pool more.

Great package

It can be tough to find a modern, clean, well appointed vacation rental for a small party that’s not massive and overpriced. This house was perfect for us and our dog - new pool area and awesome fenced yard, great location, good pricing, etc. we would def stay again

Perfect little beach house

We loved our stay in this beach house just a block from the beach and a block from a walkway over the marsh. The house was perfect for a family trip with the hot tub, pool, and fenced in yard. The wrap around porch was lovely to catch rays and hear the ocean. We also took day trips to Wilmington/Masonboro Island and took the ferry to the Aquarium and Ft. Fisher preserve. Had a great meal in Southport. Loved the relaxed and minimal commercialization feel of Oak Island.

Beach Vacay in May 2024

The location of house is nice. Slight beach view from the house and easy access to the beach. The living area is spacious and the recliners are very comfy. We liked that the porch had gates to keep our dog from wandering off. The yard is well maintained and the house had plenty of parking. Things we didn’t like and why we won’t rent again: 1. The house does not have a covered porch. It was very hot during the peak hours of the day and a shade would have been nice so we were not sitting in direct sunlight. Also you cannot enjoy the porch when it rains. 2. The hot tub is underneath the house and not near the pool area. 3. The pool was filthy upon arrival and was not cleaned during our stay. 4. The bedrooms are small. No king size bed.

A solid beach option

Unfortunately, it was rainy for our entire stay, so we did not get to enjoy the beach like we were hoping. The house itself was fine, and any issues we had were with the check-in process. When we walked into the house all beds were unmade, down to the mattress. After a long drive to get to the property, having to make the beds, including challenging bunk beds, was not an ideal way to start our stay. And the dishwasher was completely full of wet dishes, so that also had to be dealt with. First world problems both, but they are not things one normally has to deal with when checking into a STR. But the house is ideally situated very close to the beach and has ready access to the beach, so that certainly is an attractive feature. The house is on the small side, but it did accommodate our family of five just fine. The pool is another key feature that we enjoyed, even in the rain. Although there were minor issues, we would stay here again given the awesome location.

Great location and wonderful for our pups too!

Easy walk to beach, fenced in yard and walk around balcony was awesome for the dogs, and outdoor shower was nice. Place is nicely updated, lots of utensils, dishes, and cooking supplies. We had an issue with the dishwasher that didn’t get fixed, but apparently a work order was put in. Not sure what can be done to fix it. Doesn’t seem like there is enough water pressure in the kitchen. 4 stars vs 5 was due to the dishwasher. We did not want to hand wash dishes on our vacation. Shower had great water pressure. Would’ve been nice to have a few hotel size bars of soap to get us started. This is a type of place that starts you out with nearly nothing. Not sure if there is a way to tell in the listing or not for each property so that you know what to bring/buy.
