Welcome to Barefoot in the Blue Ridge, expertly managed by Great Mountain Cabin Rentals. Barefoot in the Blue Ridge was designed with all the comforts of home, plus a lot more. Explore everything the property has to offer, indoors and outside. Each bedroom features expansive mountain views, blackout shades, unique art and design, and lots of amenities. The main kitchen is outfitted with large group gatherings in mind, the Main Kitchen comes equipped with everything a cook could need. From smoothies to Thanksgiving Dinner, this kitchen can handle it. Hayesville and surrounding areas have so much to offer. Boating, fishing, hiking, golf, shopping, and fine dining are all just a short drive away. Pool is open from May till the end of September. Book your dates now because summer fills up FAST!

Had a wonderful stay! Host was super responsive and even personally brought ping pong balls when we could not locate any. House was set up great, pool is huge (and so is the hot tub), loved the arcade and all the other fun things to do. Far enough away from to enjoy peace and quiet, but close enough to good food and sightseeing. Loved it!

The host was very kind and quick to respond. We had 6 adults and 5 kids, and there was plenty of space for everyone. The game room and theater room were perfect — the kids played for hours and it felt like they had their own little hangout spot. This place truly had everything you need all in one place.

Amazing Family Vacation Home

The house is beautiful with a great lay-out. The pool was a family favorite. The kitchen was perfect for preparing meals and the dining area was large enough for our family of 10. Two beverage coolers (1 by the pool and 1 in the game room) were thoughtful and much appreciated. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect Family Getaway

Our family really loved staying in this home. It was the perfect place for a family of six to be alone for a couple of days and never get bored. The kids loved all of the games, the pool, and the hot tub. Plus we were in the middle of a beautiful and peaceful surroundings. The house was clean and had plenty of space. We could’ve had another family stay with us!

Wonderful place

The view, the amenities, the beds, the showers, the owner response time were all exceptional. The game room was great for the kids and the “theater room” was perfect despite looking a bit small in the pictures. We were far enough from town that we could only hear nature, but close enough to hop out for food, gas, groceries, etc. The horse stables that were recommended were also amazing.

We had the best time. The house was exactly as listed. Very clean and comfortable. They had things to use in the home most places don’t supply. Communication was top notch! Will be back soon!

Wonderful Vacation

My family throughly enjoyed celebrating the New Year at Mountain View Estate. The house was superb, fully stocked with everything you need, with a very nice hot tub and fire pit. Location was outstanding, secluded but close to town, parks with water falls and hiking for all ages and the fairground, where we enjoyed fireworks. The hosts were so accomadating and quick to answer any questions! I can't wait to come back and enjoy the pool!

Beautiful mountain getaway

Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home! It was so comfortable, and we really enjoyed the views. There is so much to do at the house for kids and adults. We did not take her kids, but they would’ve loved it! We had an amazing, peaceful weekend, and the house is decorated so beautifully. We had everything we needed, and we couldn’t of asked for a better weekend to get away.

Our group of six …ahem…mature women had a blast in this house! It was beautifully appointed with everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub daily, and loved watching the deer in the field beside the house. We enjoyed the fully-equipped kitchen and the outdoor kitchen as well. Everything was clean and well-organized. We loved it.

Family getaway!

We had a fabulous time at this property! It was gorgeous and it lived up to everything we hoped it would be. Loved the pool and hot tub!! Loved all the games for the kiddos to play and the grill was unbelievable. We will definitely stay here again!!

Adults-only getaway

We are three couples from the Foothills of WNC. We are very pleased with the house…it was very clean and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and plenty of space to hang out. The location is beautiful, and we would certainly recommend the town and this house to anyone looking for a similar getaway experience.
