POWDERIDGE #17 - 2 BEDROOM, 2 BATHS FLAT (sleeps 6) - BEDDING: BR #1 King, BR #2 Queen. Sleeper Sofa Gas Fireplace, Private Deck, Washer/dryer, Dishwasher, TVs, DVD/VCR, Slope Side, and Balcony. The flat is located on the lower level and has a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, dishwasher, full sized refrigerator.

We enjoyed our stay at the property. Place is very conveniently located in walking distance from the mountain. Kitchen has all the necessary appliances, pots, pens, and silverware. We will definitely be back!

We had direct access to the slopes off the back deck and the shuttle stop out front gave us a few minute drive to downtown. The property was clean and warm, equipped with everything you need for a weekend. The rental people were very nice and helpful when we called with questions about the area and property.

The location for this property was perfect for us with a ski lift very close by. The unit was clean and nice. The beds were a little uncomfortable and the interior could use an update. If those kind of things don't bother you then you will love it. We would stay here again. :)

We visited a friend in same complex with a 2 story layout and the living space was a lot smaller than #17. The location of this unit is very close to slope access. It was really easy to stop in for lunch. We only had two issues: one air mattress has a hole. There was another one that worked but of course we chose the wrong one to blow up first. Also the heater in the vestibule does not work so ski gear did not dry.

Such a sweet retreat!

It was perfectly located away from the hustle and bustle, yet conveniently close to everything! The slopes and powderidge lift is just a few steps out of the parking lot to your left. The condo was exceptionally clean and well stocked. The only thing needed was a set of sheets for the queen size blow up mattress. This was used in place of what we thought would be a sofa bed, but it turned out to be more comfortable than any sofa bed! A few extra towels for a family of 6 would have been also nice but we managed! All in all, we will definitely be back to this little gem! It was perfect and gave us all the mountain feels! ♥️

The location of this particular unit was far enough away from the snow blowers to not be disturbed from the noise factor, yet was conveniently accessible to shuttle station and/or a ski slope. No problems or issues of any kind with rental company. Very friendly and promptly responded to any questions I had. This unit CAN accommodate 5 or 6 adults/teenagers, it just isn’t the most optimal arrangement. Not FOR US, anyway, as there is limited floor space for inflatable mattress(es) that made it difficult to maneuver around while in position. Not enough floor space for one to fit in either bedroom and only one will fit in living room. Sofa is not a sofa bed.Washer and dryer is small capacity due to limited laundry space (stack unit) but it served us well for drying our skiing accessories.Remarkably clean and very well stocked kitchen with full supply of kitchenware, utensils, etc... . I would stay here again.

Pretty nice little spot

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at PowderRidge17. The Unit was, for the most part, clean and well kept. My biggest gripe - and it is a small one - is that it looked like the master bathroom was recently re-caulked by someone who just learned what caulk was that morning. Bro - you gotta smooth it out with a wet finger after you lay down the bead. Other than that, the furniture and beds were comfortable, the gas log fireplace was warm, the kitchen was recently updated and very nice (do the bathrooms the same!), and overall we really liked the layout. You can't actually ski out the back door, because there are no steps down from the deck, but it is a short walk around the side of the building to the closest lift, which is maybe 50m from the unit. There is also a shuttle service right across the road which runs to the village until after 2am on the weekends. The WiFi was also really good - tested at 50mbps down. One thing I'll also note is that there are no parking permits for the associated lot, and the locals seem to know this. The night after it snowed, the lot got very full, and cleared out again right at 5pm. Just be careful leaving equipment laying around, I guess. Luckily, this unit has a nice mud/snow room right inside the door, so there is no reason to leave things outside. Finally, shout out to Mountain Valley Realty for being friendly and helpful. We decided to stay an extra night during a holiday weekend because of new snow, and they didn't try to gouge us or anything, and actually gave us a really good rate!

False property description and poor property management.

I booked this property via VRBO. I received payment confirmation from VRBO. Shortly before my departure I realized that I don't have any contracts or check in instructions. I also learned that the property was removed from VRBO. I sent a message to the property manager through VRBO but did not receive response. I contacted customer VRBO service, they assured me that they will contact property manager and have them communicate back to me. I did received email from property manager in 2 days. I replied asking for check in instructions - no response. I texted her (she provided cell phone in email signature) - no response. I called few times, finally I was able to get a hold of the management. I was asked to come to realty to pick up the keys. I asked for the contract or check in instructions, but I never received any of those. I felt that my vacation with kids, which I planned months ago were at risk. Tracking down property manager, trying to figure out where should I go to pick up keys did not contribute to the positive experience. Unfortunately this is not the end of the story. As I stated before, I found this property on VRBO. The description stated that the property has 1 king bed, 2 tween beds, sofa and inflatable mattress. Once I arrived, I discovered 1 king, 1 queen and 1 couch. The reason I booked this place and paid premium was 2 tween beds for my kids. Pool out sofa and mattress should've serve my friends who supposed to come over. The property manager stated that the description changed and offered inflatable mattress, but never delivered.

Watched the sunrise every morning from the back deck. Someone even shoveled our walk way out the front door after 6 inches of snow which was nice. No service on cellphones but WiFi hook up made it possible to at least FaceTime and iMessage family members. Definitely will be back next year.

The location of the unit close to the Powderidge Lift was really convenient for ski in/out even though there wasn't a lot of natural snow.One minor note was the unit has an inflatable air bed instead of a sofa bed. My sons declared this better than a pull-out, but I was surprised. Perhaps it was in the unit description and I just missed it.Mountain Valley Realty was great to work with, although their location at the bottom of the mountain is not as convenient as renting through the resort.

Debbie and the group always provide great service and ensure that they vacation is a success. PowderRidge 17 was a small, clean, and quiet location conveniently located near the PowderRidge lift. We were fortunate to have just a short walk to the lift (snow conditions had closed the run that would normally allow ski in/out). The unit was clean and well kept. All aspects of the unit were in working order. Overall I would describe the unit as comfortable and I would definitely recommend staying there to family and friends. Cant wait until next season!

Awesome Place!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything went smoothly as always, Rental was in great condition, well stocked, beds were comfortable. Twins were a little short for adults, but overall no complaints.

While not every property is located directly on the slopes, the majority of our rentals are slopeside and provide ski-in/ski-out access to beginner (novice) trails within the main terrain area of Snowshoe Mountain. Many homes also feature scenic mountain, village, or Western Territory views. The Western Territory is a separate section of the mountain known for its long vertical drop and expert terrain. This area features some of the steepest and most challenging trails in the region and is designed primarily for advanced skiers and snowboarders.

Casago Snowshoe provides professional vacation rental management and guest services year-round, welcoming visitors for winter skiing and snowboarding as well as summer mountain biking, hiking, festivals, and other outdoor recreation.
