• Mountain Roads: the scenic route to the cabin includes curves, uphill stretches, and inclines. A reliable vehicle is recommended for a smooth travel experience.
• Winter Travel Advisory: 4WD or traction control may be required in the winter months.
• Lawn Maintenance: Lawn care may be performed periodically from now until September. The landscaper will only work outside, and no one needs to be present.
• Wi-Fi Notice: Wi-Fi is provided via satellite, which is not compatible with gaming, and streaming on multiple devices may affect speed.
• Entertainment: a DVD player is available, but guests are encouraged to bring their favorite DVDs, as selections are not guaranteed.
• Hot Tub: the private hot tub seats a maximum of 4 people and features a secured strap for safety.
• Fireplace & Safety Features: the cabin includes timers for fireplaces and strict no candle or fireworks policies for guest safety.

The property was as beautiful as the listing. The cabin was homey and the amenties offered were great...had everything you would need if wanted to cook your meals.

The Perfect Escape

Great view, but much to be desired ...

Log cabins are great. The view was great ... but ... Upon arrival we spent 3 hours cleaning (ceiling fans; lamps, furniture, heat/air returns all dusty; some heavy dust). Cobwebs in bathrooms; hair from someone (previous renter?) on bed sheets. Grill was useless (pretty much rusted out and had a broken knob). Pool table had a broken pocket and looked like it has not been well taken care of. There were no tips for the darts for use of the dartboard. The outdoor hot tub had dirt on its bottom. The jacuzzi tub in the upstairs bathroom didn't work - button for start of was non-functional. Stove top was nasty - all burner pans had some food residue. To me it looks like all that was done to prep for us was to leave out towels and wash cloths. I did contact the owner. I have photos (and need to send to them); I also took a video as we were leaving to show the condition we left it in. The internet worked ok. The TV's worked ok. If all the amenities were as advertised and the house clean this would have been a great place.

Relaxation/Life Break

My husband and I stayed for 7 days. We went to dinner with family/friends 3 of the nights and relaxed at the cabin the rest of the time. We agreed that we have never felt so relaxed after a vacation. The views were beautiful, the fireplaces were wonderful, and we felt at home in the cabin. Can’t wait to go back when return.

Very nice stay

Very nice cabin. Fantastic views! Kids enjoyed the game room and hot tub. We had a wonderful week. The only thing I will say is the fireplace in the living room didn’t work and the road up to the cabin has some really sharp turns and is a good climb.

On your own

Great view, comfortable beds. TV in bedroom but no remote for Direct TV. Fireplace in living room but no gas. I did get the hot tub operating after I found the breaker. Hot tub temperature was 89 degrees. Even though it was an old hot tub they had spliced it back together in a couple places. Customer service response when told there was no remote: ‘It should be by the tv’. Really! Next response was ‘look for it’. Really! Next response ‘it should be by the tv’. Never received a remote. Fireplace would have been nice with 41 deg. temps outside. They could not send someone to turn the valve on because it was ‘seasonal’. The fireplace in the bedroom worked fine. I never write negative comments but, I was very frustrated with the ‘how can we avoid helping you’ service we encountered.

Cabin

The view is amazing!! It’s steep to get to the cabin but not to terrible. The fridge and floors could use a good clean. One thing I’d suggest maybe adding a gate for guest for the stairs. We had a little one with us and I was surprised there was no gate for families. We loved our stay and enjoyed the hot tub! We definitely would stay here again.

Beautiful place with a veiw. My only complaint would be the cleaning fee. I dont have a problem paying for it because i know they have to pay someone, but for the amount charged and it not being cleaned properly. I was a little disappointed in the cleanliness.

Spent our 32nd anniversary here, and it was perfect. Stayed for a week, and it was a great stay. Very private, peaceful, and roomy. Only thing is don't be in a hurry to go anywhere, LOL.

Is our second time going to Tennessee, I really like the place enjoy the time with my family we were supposed to be eight but my family wasn’t able to make it, so was a big cabin for four guest, it’s a quiet place only thing you can hear the wind blowing in the birds singing, the only thing that we didn’t enjoy was that Jacuzzi the smell in the water is too strong we end up getting in only one time because we weren’t able to handle the smell other than that everything was perfect.

Quiet and lovely

We had an excellent time at this location. Both bathrooms were in the bedrooms which cause a little chaos for the little ones that slept on pullout couch. We love to play pool but if you are serious about it… the table was challenging to actually hit shots! The hot tub was great and the view was awesome. Bring some extra toilet paper. Had a hard time with the eyes on the stove, they were not consistent. Overall it was a nice stay.

"Absolutely Perfect" Cabin

First off, it has a great view from the upper deck, and a good view from the lower deck as well. It was very clean, and the perfect size for my wife, our 19 year old son, and myself. The drive up the mountain has a few sharp turns as to be expected, nothing crazy though. The nitpicky stuff; Parking right outside the front door was nice, but it's on a slight hill, so getting out or in was a little challenging unless you pulled straight in toward the cabin. The 7' pool table in the basement was a nice idea, but there's not nearly enough room. Nearly every other shot, the pool cue was up against a wall. It was still enjoyable, but a bit frustrating. The sound of nature out back got pretty loud at night, but again, to be expected. As far as human noise, it was pretty quiet, with the exception of when vehicles drove right past the cabin coming and going. They're only about 20 feet from the cabin, and the cabin is the first cabin inside the gate, so everyone who lives or is staying in the other cabins within the gate drive by the cabin. Other than that, there were two consecutive mornings, starting around 6:30am, that there were road workers making crazy amounts of noise by the gate, as well as right in front of the cabin. No idea what they were doing, as it looked the same when they were done 2-1/2 hours later each day. Would I stay there again? Probably. Was it "Perfect"? No, but it was really good overall. A bit of a drive to Pigeon Forge, but not bad, about 25 minutes or so....

From the management company to beautiful home, everything was perfect! The view was amazing from our deck!! I would highly recommend, and would be back to stay again. I would just make people aware of the winding road to get up to the property! First time was rough, then got use to it.

Stunning place with a beautiful view of Clingman's Dome.

The property was very cozy, easy to get to and had fantastic views. My family enjoyed the quiet when "home" and the proximity to all the available amenities within 30 minutes.
