Located in the popular Chalet Village on Ski Mountain, this peaceful retreat features 2 queen beds, 1 full bed, and a cozy living room with a sofa bed. Guests can unwind on one of the 3 decks after a day of adventure. Enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot tub or play a game of pool in the game room. With the breathtaking view of the mountains it might be difficult to leave the cabin. Once you do, you are only minutes from the entrance of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and all that downtown Gatlinburg has to offer. Your stay will be as enjoyable as it is relaxing. We had an amazing stay at "Over the Rainbow" property during Thanksgiving weekend. Awesome views, clean place with everything that you may need. Cozy cabin with good space for 4 adults. Easy access to Gatlinburg shops and Smoky mountains national park. Host/property manager promptly responded to all our queries.Our adult kids had fun finding hidden bears in the house (we counted 90 in all). Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful mountain view accommodation.

Everything was Great... we didn't spend much time during the day there but w slept very comfortable and the hot water was great and the view was awesome. Even saw 7 bears while we were there.

Amazing view

It was a pleasure to stay in this Cabin for the whole week!The house waa beautiful, clean, comfortable and have an amazing view We highly recommend to people to stay in this cabin and we will definitely stay in it if we come back again!

Wonderful Gatlinburg Cabin

Our family with 3 teenagers had a wonderful time in the Over the Rainbow cabin. Perfect location only a few minutes from downtown. The view of the mountains is amazing and we all enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. The owners were very responsive and left snacks for us to enjoy as well. Highly recommended this cabin if you are vacationing to Gatlinburg.

Milestone birthdays

Cozy, convenient, and comfortable. Only thing I would suggest is tin foil, plastic wrap or containers for leftover food, but that was nothing that would have ruined my trip and the kitchen was stocked nicely. It was a wonderful place!

Perfect getaway for our little family of 3. Fully stocked cabin with everything you would need. Hopefully we will make it back up in the future.Hot tub was perfect and clean. You are close to the neighbors on both sides, but we only had issues with them playing loud music outside two nights out of the 4 nights we stayed. Quick notes for future guest: Bring your own towels for the hot tub. Choose your vehicle wisely. We were thankful we drove our car and not our truck because parking is difficult for a larger vehicle. Check to see what activities are going on in town. We came during slammed car show so there was noise all through the day and nights. You are close to downtown, but the roads are not safe to walk due to being small and windy. All the beds are queen size but we didn't mind.

Amazing View, comfortable and clean

We had a great stay at this condo. It was more of an old-timey chalet rather than new and fancy, but we loved the character of it, and the furnishings, antiques and everything we're very nice. Everything worked - this is the first place in a long time that actually had a working light under the microwave (I like to use it for a night light). The hot tub was nice, nothing fancy but seemed clean and held the heat well. And best of all, the view - truly a million dollar view. We could see town lit up at night, the mountains, and our beloved Ober Gatlinburg tram was fun to watch passing by. We saw 3 bears 20 mins after we got there, which was cool, but we didn't see any more the rest of the time. We would definitely stay again. It was a good floorplan for us to have a bedroom upstairs and our kids/grandkids in the two bedrooms downstairs.

A Great Little Cabin - With Spectacular Christmas Decor!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Over the Rainbow, but probably our favorite thing was the wonderful Christmas decorations in almost every room! These guys went all-out, and it looked almost like a Hallmark Movie cabin - talk about comfort and joy! This was a great place with 2 fireplaces, plenty of TVs, and a well-equipped kitchen for the size. Checking in and out was a breeze and owner/manager communication was excellent. The views were great and it was neat to see the tram going throughout the day and night. The Hot Tub was great and so easy to use - probably the best hot tub experience I've had in many years. I would recommend this cabin for small families as even with 6 people it was beginning to get cramped and bathroom time became an issue. We also found that several outlets did not work in the bedrooms, so bringing an extra power-strip or two might be a good idea if you need to plug in things on multiple walls. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Host was great and view was spectacular. Not enough linens for our 3 night (4 person) stay and dryer in the house was not able to dry more than 2 towels at a time. Lighting in the house was inadequate in all rooms. Needs updating and a good cleaning.
