Enjoy a Short Stroll through the woodland path to the private sandy waterfront and beach where picnicking, swimming, kayaking & canoeing can be enjoyed. Reconnect with nature by loon watching and enjoying daily peaceful sunsets with a one of a kind view.

A 25 mile drive from Mount Desert Island & Acadia National Park. Under 2 hours away from Moosehead & Mt Katahdin. Conveniently located just 20 minutes away from both Bangor and Ellsworth. Also within 5 minutes drive of other beautiful lakes such as Lucerne, Green and Branch Lakes.

We promote a device free home away from home vacation, however there is strong personal cellular signal available to our guests who still need to work during their stay. We pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our residents so no smoking of any kind is allowed on the premises and we maintain a shoe free household during your visit.

Great stay in this secluded cabin!

I would highly recommend a stay here! The cabin was very clean and throughly stocked with everything needed to create an enjoyable experience. Tonya’s hospitality and responsiveness was also excellent. She went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable.

Host went above and beyond to make our stay great! Providing a dozen farm fresh eggs upon our arrival just one example! The house lacked nothing and is in a beautiful setting!

Wonderful Stay in a Cozy House

We had a wonderful stay during our 3 day stay. The owners were incredibly responsive and accommodating. The house was clean and beautifully decorated . The owner was very helpful and reachable whenever we needed anything. Overall, our stay at this cabin was fantastic.

Fantastic place!

We’ve stayed at dozens of short term rentals/vrbos and this is the best of them! The cleanest place I’ve ever seen. Very well thought through - has all the amenities and supplies and cookware and tools you’d ever need and more. There are even SUPs, kayak, and canoe. Highly recommend Tonya’s place - she is the most caring and kind host and a wonderful person!

Just Perfect

Everything was just perfect for us. Tonya (host) is a beautiful human being that we were all very fortunate to meet. She truly cares about her guest's experience. The property is absolutely gorgeous. Just perfect. We will be returning for sure.

Fully stocked for fun and relaxation

This private cabin had a bunch of books and games for us to try and many small kitchen appliances for drinks or pancakes if we had the need. They had paddleboards, canoe and kayak ready for us, and a dozen fresh eggs on arrival. It was a quiet place and not too far from the Acadia attractions. Our host was available for questions/requests. We recommend staying here for your Acadia visit.

Amazing spot, amazing house, friendly host

At first the dirt road leading to the house made me so excited! Then seeing the house, I was amazed I had found such an amazing little spot for my family to spend a long weekend. Tons to do right at the house. The 3 boys 11,9, and 6 had the best time!!!! The pond which is a short walk was the highlight! Paddle boards and kayaks. Perfect to get out on the late for that one if a kind sunset 😍 I will recommend this place to family and friends!!! Thank you to our amazing host for making sure our stay was one of the best my family have had in a while!!! If your looking for a spot off the beaten path but close to everything you could need stay here!!! We will for sure be looking to stay again in the same house.
