We cook a lot so the kitchen setup is a must. The kitchen could use a few small containers for leftovers and a better set of pots and pans. Overall the kitchen equipment was usable and got the job done.

Beautiful home right on the water!! We loved the location and everything about our trip there. Able to have dinner on the large deck with beautiful views. The home was well stocked for us and made it easy to grocery shop and make our own meals! Very clean home!

Perfect for a family getaway. Very comfortable, beautiful waterfront, and great cooking space. The deck and dock were amazing places to hang out, and the beach is ideal for swimming. Loved it.

Better than the listing

The property was amazing, we would like to complain about the wind hahaha or the rocks hahaha more pota and pants maybe we helped with that. The chipmunk observation - 5 stars! The location was perfect! Everything was amazing and everything was better than expected! We would come back and recommend 100 percent! Thank you, Ryan! We had an amazing week!

Great Location to View Fall Colors

We had a great stay on Beech Hill Pond. The house was comfortable and met all of our needs. We enjoyed the view from the house and sitting on the bench by the shore. This was a great location to visit Acadia and coastal towns as well as head in to view fall colors. We would revisit this spot on future visits to Maine.

Pictures absolutely do not do justice for this amazing property. I wish we booked an extra week just to stay at home and relax. Very convenient to both Bar Harbor and Bangor. We saw all the sites and did manage to enjoy some water time at the dock. The fishing from your own backyard pier was excellent. Caught quite a few yellow perch and even caught my first trout! The owners are great communicators and very friendly. As soon as we get home we are planning next summers trip!! Thanks again for the peaceful retreat we needed!!

Beautiful lake house

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hidden gem on Beech Hill Pond, which is a quiet and pristine lake perfect for swimming, fishing, and boating. The property is beautiful and private with its own boat ramp and dock. The house is well stocked and very comfortable for a family of 4. We enjoyed trips to nearby Bangor and Ellsworth. Would definitely rent again!

Relaxing Family Vacation

Review The pictures do not do this property justice. The house is comfortably open providing lots of room for children to play. The kitchen is set up nicely, as well, as we were able to make a majority of our meals at home. The proximity to Ellsworth was convenient, as well, being able to access numerous food markets and restaurants. I loved the water! It was clear and provided us some great swimming experiences! The beach and dock were private and allowed us to enjoy the pond without interruption. We were pleasantly surprised by the number of toiletries and kitchen supplies provided, as we are accustomed to having provide them all. The property owners went out of their way to give us a pleasantly memorable vacation experience and we are incredibly grateful! We highly recommend this property!

Beautiful Retreat

The house was absolutely perfect and was a great way to relax for the weekend. Very dog friendly (dog bed, treats, and water/food bowls already there) and comfortable. We look forward to making this spot an annual trip!

Great stay

This property was the best VRBO rental we have ever stayed in. I can’t say enough about the entire experience. The lake was great, the smallmouth bass were hungry and plentiful, and the cabin was as advertised.

Peaceful retreat, didn't want to leave

We were there with our 7 year old daughter. The house was clean and cozy, and the air conditioner was so helpful/useful on a couple humid days. Great raft selection, some life vests, and a single kayak for peaceful solo trips. Yes, I'll second what someone else said - Perhaps a bit of an update to the kitchen tools/pots and pans set up would be welcome, but we made due with what was there and it didn't put a damper on our stay. The pond/lake was gorgeous. We had a couple dinners out in Ellsworth, and those were delightful. You'll want to get all the supplies you can and then just chill at the house. We felt like new people when we went home again. We would absolutely stay there again.

Peaceful and Relaxing.

This house was everything we could ask for. It was so peaceful by the lake and offered us privacy. The house inside was beautiful and a place where we could just relax. We enjoyed hearing the loons out on the lake in the early morning and late evening hours. We enjoyed our time here and would stay here again.
