We are pleased to announce the availability of our cherished Sand Pleasure Cottage for your upcoming Galveston getaway this summer. Our scheduling constraints this season have led to a later listing, offering a unique opportunity for those seeking a last-minute retreat. This residence, a true home away from home, has been thoughtfully designed as a weekend haven, meticulously furnished to cater to every aspect of luxury and convenience, yet our demanding schedules have limited our own enjoyment of this exquisite property.

Sand Pleasure Cottage features an innovative reverse floor plan, with the living, dining, and kitchen areas situated on the upper level to maximize the stunning vistas. It is equipped with unparalleled amenities, including four flat-screen TVs and a comprehensive home sound system, ensuring a stay of unmatched comfort and entertainment.

The first floor houses two king bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, alongside a master bedroom boasting a king bed and a spacious master bath. The upper level offers a bunk-bed room, equipped to sleep 11 with a mix of five twin beds and three full beds, culminating in a maximum occupancy of 15. For outdoor enjoyment, a closet stocked with grills, floats, and beach chairs is available to all guests.

One of the property's crowning jewels is its proximity to The Pointe West Beach Club. Positioned just a short golf cart ride away, the club features an expansive pool and hot tub, a children's pool, and dining facilities, providing an array of options for relaxation and enjoyment. Additionally, a second on-site pool with a lazy river offers further leisure opportunities for children. Access to the club incurs a nominal $25 fee per person, payable directly to the club.

Sand Pleasure Cottage is ideally located a mere stone's throw from a private beach access point, with only one house between it and the dune crossover, ensuring easy access to the beach, which is regularly maintained for cleanliness.

Amazing Beach House

We had a great stay here. The location is perfect for what we were wanting. The beach is an easy walk with a walkway. The house is beautiful. The owners were very quick about responding to everything. We will book here again in the future for sure!

Super nice!

The house is very nice and has most everything one needs. Location is great! You can see the beach from the back and the bay from the front. Owners are very responsive to questions.my family and I would love to come back some day!

Beautiful property for family

We loved the house! Location was perfect walking distance to the beach. Rented golf cart to hit the pool, which was an easy drive. Friendly clean neighborhood! House had enough supplies like towels and beach toys. Very clean and comfortable beds! Would suggest this home to friends!

Great Getaway, beautiful house and beach club

We were there for a weekend getaway with family that came in from all over the country all above age 40. The house was very clean and the check in process was super easy. The house had everything we could possibly need. WiFi worked great but we could never figure out how to get the surround sound connected to any devices. If you have older house guest be prepared there are a lot of stairs. The main living area is on the top floor so that was 3 flights of stairs to carry everything inside. We were pretty winded and wore out after that. We spent most of our days at the beach club. The pool area was really nice and we enjoyed the little store and the snack shack food and drinks. We ventured to the lazy river for a couple hours one day. The lazy river was a very small circle but we still enjoyed floating around. Note that you have to bring your own tubes. Overall the place is wonderful and I would absolutely stay there again.

July 4th weekend

We loved our stay! It was a cute house that was very clean and the property manager was very quick to respond to a question I had when we got there. The location is also great because the beach access is right across the street.

Perfect home in Pointe West

The house was perfect! There were three families with us (6 adults and 8 kids) and we fit perfectly in this home. Each bedroom downstairs had a king bed and it’s own bathroom. The bunk room was the kids favorite hangout and had plenty of room to accommodate everyone! The owner was so easy to work with and we are already planning our trip next year to stay in this home!

Great Location

Great Location! Easy to and from the beach. Overall, the house had a great number of beds and bedrooms for the group of us. Enjoyed our stay. Had a lot of trouble with the WIFI making it difficult for working from the house. Other than that it was a great trip!

Lovely Home & Great Vacation Spot!

Wonderful property in Pointe West! Well stocked and very clean house, just about everything you might need while on vacation. We were a large group - 5 adults, 4 teens, 4 little kids and a baby! The bunk bed room had plenty of beds for all the teens/kids and there was a portable crib for the baby, plus three additional rooms for the adults (two couples and a grandma)! Each room had a full bath as well, so we were all able to have our own space. Sonas sound system within the house was really cool (except when the baby somehow turned on Sweet Home Alabama on two different mornings at around 7am..lol). Plenty of pool floats and beach toys for the kids, and beach chairs. We couldn’t find a beach umbrella which would have been useful with the baby on the beach. The Beach Club was great, good food and an awesome pool. Beaches weren’t crowded at all. The homeowner was super nice and responsive to all questions. We had a TV remote incident (baby threw it in the dishwasher and nobody noticed until after the cycle completed
 so we had a melted remote). Owner was very nice when we informed him of what happened, so the remote could be replaced before the next renter arrived. I don’t know when or if we will ever return to Galveston, but if we do I would certainly rent this beautiful home again!

Fabulous, perfectly appointed home in Pointe West!

This is a wonderful home, with tons of amenities! The owner has been a wonderful contact, personally visited this home the day before we arrived and stocked it wonderfully. State of the art Sonos sound system throughout and outside of the home was fantastic; large tvs in living and master bedroom; smaller but great tvs in the bunk room and other king room; no tv currently in queen bedroom. King beds are gigantic (2 double beds together). Owners are leaving spices in cabinets, all cleaning supplies, etc for the future guests to enjoy. In the kitchen, every knife, cutting board, pot and pan that you need to cook is provided! Gorgeous views of the Gulf from the wraparound porch - so lovely for morning coffee and sunset relaxing. Pointe West is an incredible development - daunting to drive 25 mins out of Galveston proper but bring groceries. Small grocery store and liquor store are closer, but still a 10+ min drive. There are currently few restaurants in the area, but try some if you want to get out. The Pointe restaurant has surprisingly fantastic food (their chef makes chargrilled burgers and steaks that rival many we've had - ever; best french fries on vacation). The Beach Club and Pointe wait staff are overworked (they are sweet and wonderful, but several work 12 hour days regularly). You will LOVE this house!

Perfect

This property was perfect for my family and two other couples with their children. Six adults and 7 kids total. Each couple had their own bedroom and bath, and there's a bunk room that held all the kids. Plenty of space for our crowd, plus a little privacy. Quite close to the beach. Has a well-equipped kitchen and several outdoor grills. Lots of stairs, as one would expect in a beach house.

Perfect family getaway

House was perfect for our family of adult children. House would also work for younger children. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking our meals. Great proximity to beach. Host was very nice and answered our queries promptly. Would definitely return to this property!
