The Space:
Located at Camp Warnecke Estates this luxury ground floor corner 3-bedroom 2-bathroom condo has the largest patio and the very best view of the Comal River. Great pool area with hot tub, outdoor communal charcoal grills, across the street from Schlitterbahn Water Park and direct Comal River access to start or end your float. It is walking distance from the shops and restaurants in downtown New Braunfels. Beautiful place from family vacations. Easy to make it your favorite getaway!
This condo overlooks the crystal-clear Comal River. Get out just steps away from your own backdoor or walk up to the Garden St. Bridge for a soothing 30 minutes of “Cruising down the River” – perfect for the little ones. Rockin' R is a local tube outfitter which can pick up in the parking lot next to Camp Warnecke between Memorial Day and Labor Day. For any reservation outside of that time period, the Rockin' R shop is located only a half of a mile away. So many things to do you’ll want to stay forever!
The kitchen opens into the dining and living area and is fully equipped for all your cooking needs! The dining table seats 6 and there is room for 3 more at the breakfast bar. Amazing living room that provides a fabulous view of the river and is perfect for gathering to play games or for watching TV, and in the evening the couch folds out into a queen size sofa sleeper. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and private bathroom with jacuzzi tub. The second bedroom has 2 twin size beds, and the third bedroom has a full-size bed that can retract into the wall and add additional space. The guest bathroom is conveniently located near the second and third bedrooms. Each bedroom has cable TV as well as the living room. Washer and dryer as well. Spend your evenings on the beautiful patio overlooking the Comal River after a long day of tubing or just relax and enjoy the amazing view! All linens are furnished.
Only two parking passes provided with one guaranteed numbered spot. The second parking pass is for general parking and is 'first come first served.' This condo is on the ground floor. Host must be 25 years of age or older to make a reservation and must be staying at the property for the duration of the stay. Guests will also be provided with 8 wristbands (max amount allowed). No pets allowed. No smoking allowed. This condo has a maximum occupancy of 8 guests. This maximum occupancy is not to be exceeded at any time. No daytime guests allowed. To comply with city and county short-term rental permit restrictions, the outdoor areas of this home are monitored by video camera. This property includes accidental damage protection up to $1500.
**WRISTBANDS & PARKING PASSES REQUIRED*** These condos are individually owned and the owners graciously allow their "second homes" to be rented out and enjoyed! The HOA of the complex had laid out some policies to ensure everyone staying at the complex can have a wonderful time. Because of the fabulous location, we can have trouble with trespassers. The security guards on premise are there to ensure only renters are using the grounds and that guests are parking in the correct parking spaces. Please do not be offended by the wristband and parking pass policies, they are there to ensure that you have a fabulous time!

Great Location
Overall great stay! Managment company was very informative, and instruction were easy. The unit was nice, comfortable and great location. The only thing is they need new pans for cooking.

Great location
Located across the street from Schlitterbahn- just have to walk around the block to park entrance - Comal River is your backyard. Private staircase to exit from river float, right I to property. Pool is warm and clean - easy to access.

We have used NEw Braunfels Escapes for several years. My two daughters and my husband and I each rent condos for several days. They have always been very nice to work with and easy to reach. River Bend C109 was a very clean unit. Sitting right on the river, it had a beautiful view with a large patio. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well supplied and everything worked. We did not use the river access but spent a large part of the time in the nice pool. WE went to Schlitterbahn the day of our arrival, and it was so crowded even on a Tuesday. Will not spend money there again. Ate pizza at Di's, a short walk from the condo, and it was great.

The location is great. Drop your tube in across the street and float the Comal for 45 minutes and get out at the condo exit. Across the street from Schlitterbahn. Had a few issues with the condo. Killed 2 roaches in the main bedroom. The tub would fill with water when showering. Pool was unusable and green our entire stay. Sliding glass door wouldn't stay shut unless locked. Also got towed so make sure you immediately put your parking tag on vehicle. I had forgotten the 1st night and they towed it 5am the next morning even though it was in the numbered spot for the condo. I was going out to put the tag on at 7:30 am and vehicle was gone!

Over 10 years staying at Camp Warneke!

So the only two issues we had was when we first checked in there was a huge load of dirty white towels left in the main bathroom hamper. Also, we had a noise complaint made on us about a blow horn and that was surely not us. We were a little loud and so I'm assuming this is why they thought we had a blow horn when in fact the blow horn noise was coming from the night floaters on the river. The rest of our stay we just hung out at the picnic area to make sure there were no more noise complaints. Only thing I would change about the unit C109 is they need to purchase a new set of pans. If you're the cook for the family, like I am, the pans they offer are not great for making breakfast. Everything sticks to them! Other than that we did notice they purchased and upgraded a few items in the unit. Trust me, we have stayed in this unit probably a dozen times. Looks a bit more modern now. Security was great, pool was amazing and always clean, BBQ pits were available as well! I will probably be staying in another unit only because the new owners next door actually live there and much, much older so I'm sure they don't appreciate ANY noise at all. We will have to look for another corner 3-bedroom unit from now on.

Pertaining to the towels found within the unit, we are so sorry about that and would have been more than happy to send our cleaners out there to pick those up for you. We will be sure to bring up the pots and pans issue with the owner for our future guests, as we do appreciate you making this aware to us. We do strive to ensure our guests have a 5 star stay, and we sincerely apologize for falling short of that. We hope you will give us another chance in the future as we do manage around 140 properties all around the New Braunfels/ Canyon Lake area!
