Property was quiet and peaceful. Our dogs were comfortable and welcomed with open arms. The property is gated and made it easu to let our pups stay safe as well. Definitely will plan on staying here again. Thank you for giving us a great place to stay.

It was amazing. AJ was so responsive and helpful, my husband and I had a wonderful time and AJ helped us with literally anything we needed. Looks exactly like the photos!

Beautiful bungalow!

Loved our stay at AJ’s! Truly a piece of paradise at a great location. Close to everything, but far enough where you’re away from all the commotion. Would visit again!

Great neighborhood

We wanted to get a feel for all the areas of Miami. This was a great starting point for our outings to coral Gables and Uof M, coconut Grove and South Beach.

Five-Star Host - Defined by its unbeatable price-to-value ratio, this secluded bungalow occupies a small footprint - the space feels far more substantial than a typical hotel room. It's fully loaded with all the expected hotel amenities and then some, including a full kitchenette with a full-size fridge, a two-burner stovetop, a microwave, a toaster-oven, pots & pans, etc. Guests also benefit from a lovely shady retreat on the private patio and a great selection of books. Host AJ is superb — accommodating, readily available, and a pleasure to deal with. A truly exceptional experience that I recommend without reservation!

The host was very communicative and the stay was wonderful! It’s a cute bungalow tucked away in a safe and quiet neighborhood. I enjoyed having a fenced in front yard space for my dog. Inside has just the basics, but for me, it had everything I needed for a long weekend stay to check out the Everglades and Miami!

We enjoyed our stay. It is a very quaint place in a very nice safe neighborhood. It’s not fancy but it’s perfect for what we needed and AJ was available if needed. We will stay again.

Cutler Bay get-a-away

Pictures do not really do justice for the property. Very small and the art was not to my taste, art gave us a dark feel! Not a happy feeling to be there!

First you tried to scam yourself out of the booking by claiming a fake injury using your child? Then you try to say my art gave you a bad feeling? lol! The art is what 100% of guests love about the place, you are just a sad and mean spirited person 😂

The place looks NOTHING like the pictures posted, it’s filthy and decrepit,large roaches roam the kitchen and walls thru out. The fridge has left over food and condiments which are stuck the plastic shelves, the kitchen area also has left over open items.the shower is full of mold with used shampoo and liquid soap.the mattress felt warped with what felt like springs.the exterior resembled an overgrown unattended jungle with no grass and mucky. I took many photos and vids to show what I was exposed to since it was a Thanksgiving weekend and no other available hotel rooms plus the wasted money on this shack. I couldn’t believe VRBO allowed this to be offered for rent.I will be filling a formal complaint thru the channels.

Absolutely horrible people! DO NOT RENT TO THEM. Hateful, insulting and racist scammers. These vile individuals stayed their entire trip without notifying me or Vrbo about any issues and a week later they were demanding a refund, which both Vrbo and myself denied and found their claims baseless and non sensical- if it was true they hated the place so much they could have canceled the reservation and I would of happily rented it out to someone else but it is obvious they were just trying to gain the system and were used to getting away with free stays using this scam.. I have been a host for 7 years and know by heart how to identify these type of street vagrants and druggies for what they are.. please beware

Not good

When we arrived we found a very not maintained property. The place was smaller then looked in the pictures, it was dusty abd dirty. We had ants in the toilet, spiders and mold in the shower, rain coming through the door, a broken and moldy bed and just a very not maintained place. Was very not happy and moved to a different place in the morning, with a very sore back.

AJ was a very good and kind communicator! The check in was easy. The bungalow was as pictured, tiny, and had all we needed for our short stay to explore both Miami and The Everglades. We were comfortable, and I especially enjoyed having my morning coffee outside with the little patio table amidst the "jungle" and a few small lizards darting around. Just a helpful suggestion that it's a bit worn, and could use freshening up with a little paint and replacement fixtures in the bathroom. However, the price was budget-friendly!
