Great feedback, thank you so much! I can definately get a different loveseat instead of the two chairs to watch tv. Unfortunately, the front door is antique, and does not have a key and cannot have a doorcode on the antique type handle. It is super close to amenities, and it is downtown SW Harbor. This is a great space, and close to all of the amenities. This summer has been super rainy, there is an AC in the unit to cool and dry the air. I am not sure if we could fit much more furniture in the space, with the chaise lounge, 2 lounging chairs to watch tv or read, and the two bar stools for dining. Thank you for your feedback, although it is after you leave and we cannot address any of it now for your vacation. What a bummer you did not reach out through the many emails we sent you, or the phone numbers we supplied in the guest book, on our site, and in our emails. The water has mineral deposits in it, you are on an island. Your apartment was throughly cleaned before you arrived. It also refers to the mineral deposit in the water in the guest book at the apartment. The AC was not on a temporary hold. The thermostat on the wall for heat, had already met the max temp that was set of 75 degrees since it has been quite warm here. The AC is a window unit. You have to go the the AC and press "ON" for the window unit to work. It works great, and has since we put it in in June! The front door street side is an antique door as shown in the pictures. A door lock with a door code is not possible. We do not hide a key, we thought you would be more comfortable with a door code for security. As is says in the check in instructions you may park in any of the 3 parking spots available if you wanted to park around back. This is a trendy, super clean, newly renovated apartment right downtown in SW Harbor on MDI. You can walk to breakfast and stores, and you are minutes away from all of the amenities. I hope you were able to enjoy them! I hope you find your sunshine on a cloudy day on your next trip!
