- This roomy, 1st floor unit sits in a wonderful community outside of downtown. Primarily families and young professionals nearby. This property is just north of the local high school, yet it's 1/4 mile away from a great dining options on Detroit!

- Lakewood is exceptionally walkable, so anything you might need during your stay is nearby! Grocery store is 0.2 miles away!

- Window unit A/C system and Central heat will keep you comfortable year round!

- Kitchen is fully stocked with appliances/utensils.

- Access to the entire floor and front and back porches.

- You’re welcome to park in any of the 3 driveway spots (Two garage spots and one concrete spot to the right of the driveway) or on the street! Just be sure to leave the driveway lane clear! (3 total spots only. Guests from the other floors use the spots as well)

** Please note, if you're booking for more than 4, the third bed is a self-inflating Queen air mattress and/or the couch :) **

Location was great. Communication was great but refrigerator was broken and instead of being able to use kitchen like i wanted we had to eat out all meals. They offered to fix fridge but it needed replaced and wouldn't be done during our stay.

The property did not match the photos. We think the photos were from years ago when it was maintained. Now it is unkept, many things are broken/missing/don’t work. Unsafe stairs and no light.

Great 2 bed, 1 bath overnight lodging solution for a city weekend! Took a lovely, safe walk to the park by Lake Erie, then walked to a great dinner on Detroit Ave, then back to the rental. We were a short, easy drive to all of the events and attractions on our itinerary. Parking was safe and easy! Loved how the spaces in the rental were not visually cluttered. All rooms felt clean, light, and open - plenty of storage. It appears that several maintenance projects - large and small are on the "to do" list around the property. Hope to return and enjoy the "finished" project.

Inside the house was very clean. Check in was easy, key box was good. I was surprised at the bathroom - clean but sink drained slowly, chipped bathtub / sink, towel racks broken. Could use a refresh.Bed was comfortable. Room clean, except a cabinet had a used sheet and some trash. Kept it closed. Window air conditioners worked but both units needed to be deep cleaned, including the filters.Smart TV - please consider providing a code to access Prime. You can disable purchases, but allow included content.The neighborhood is nice, but your house is not well maintained. The back porch seems quite unsafe as the railing is not attached and the porch flooring and steps are both scary. Front porch with overflowing mailboxes makes it look abandoned. Railing to access front steps only on one side and steps are not equally spaced. There are birds nesting in a hole in the eaves and gutters not maintained. Parking ... the instructions were clear, 2 garage spots and a concrete pad. The interior of the garage has a great deal of garbage and mice. Having paid over 800 in advance for 3 nights for us with 2 dogs, we decided it was okIt was not ok that other guests came in after 12am, woke us and dogs 2 nights, and blocked the driveway the last night. Jesse did respond, but by then we were leaving and were able to extricate car - but it took a lot of effort on less than good sleep.We love old houses, however, some of this is unsafe. Like staying in a college dorm with private bath.

Perfect place for a quick stay

Property was perfect for what we needed and close to where we needed to be. Communication with owner was easy and they were available if needed. Nice neighborhood and quiet. Home was clean and ready for us when we arrived for check in. Directions were clear on what we needed to do for access. Would definitely stay again. Five star stay for us!

Great location ++

Great location, in the heart of an area with so many entertainment and food options. Easy access to local freeway and excellent communication with property management. Off street parking was especially nice in high density area.

Spacious and good location

A turn of the century spacious first floor apartment in a nice area. Very comfortable bed. Close to restaurants and an easy drive to Cleveland Clinic. Even has a garage. I would stay again.

Dog friendly great location

Our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable. Good restaurants in the neighborhood. Safe for walking dogs even at night. The only downside to the first floor is the noise from the second floor.

No Room at the Inn

The owner double-booked our stay. When we arrived, the keys were missing from the lockbox and there were already people inside. I called VRBO. They tried contacting the owner twice, but no answer, so I messaged the owner through the app. He finally called back an hour or so later and blamed it on a cross-platform issue with his other booking site, even though he had previously messaged me to confirm our stay. The owner half-heartedly apologized but neither he, nor VRBO, offered any assistance finding alternative accommodations. We ended up spending the night on the floor at a friend’s house as the only two nearby hotels had a 2.5/5-star rating and a 3/5-star rating. After traveling all day, we were incredibly disappointed by the total lack of communication, professionalism, and customer service.

Lovely home

The home is lovely and worked well for us to visit family. The two king beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We will happily stay again when we are in town.
