Perfect Spot for Tail of the Dragon

Great location, very clean and well stocked. The home is very comfortable with plenty of space on their quiet property. Close to town and close to the Tail of the Dragon. Will be back!

Everything was great.

Overall great experience, have stayed at Ohenrys multiple times, and will keep coming back. Cleanliness is always there and location is best. Host is just a call away if any issues, they are very nice to talk with.

We come here every year because of the location, cleanliness, and communication. Jean called me 4 hours before the check in time to let me know the cabin is ready for us. Always love coming here

Getaway in the mountains

We enjoyed a 5 day stay this time. Love this little slice of heaven. Clean and beautiful spot in the mountains. We enjoyed campfires and bbqs, the stream by the firepit is a nice way to end the day off. Cya next time

Simple and Clean

The rental process and check in/out were seamless and the cabin was immaculate. It is a quaint house with plenty of room to enjoy the outdoors. We will definitely be back to spend nights next to a campfire by the creek.

Great Location

Great and conveniet location for our Tail of The Dragon weekend. The house was clean well equipped with everything we needed. The garage was very nice. The view of the stars at night was breathtaking. 11/10 will be returning next year.

4th times a charm

Love this piece of property, nice quiet spot, love the fire pit at night. Enjoy a cigar on the front deck watching the motorcycles and cars go by. We had the pleasure of seeing the kayakers putting in across the road. A large water spill occurred the weekend we stayed. We found a copper head by the garage. Looking forward to next time. Cheers

3rd times a charm, love this place.

This was my third time staying at OHenrys getaway. Our group loves this location. Perfectly set in the mountains, with beautiful property and cozy house. Clean and well priced. We enjoyed all the amenities offered. Loved the evening campfires, and the security of the garage keeping our motorcycles safe. Convieniently located minutes from the tail of the dragon, Cherohola skyway, Fontana dam, and robinsville. Will definetly be back for future visits. Next time Mackie we’ll have some baked potatoes around the fire. Thank you so much and God bless from the Canadian guys.

Awesome Location and Great Place!

I had an overall great experience at this property, especially with Paige who was always responsive when something was wrong. I had some nasty wasps attacking me as I got there, but she had somebody go out and spray. The power was also out after a storm for a little while and she immediately called the power company for them to fix it. Other than that it is located in a great area, close to the dragon and close to Robbinsville. It also had all the amenities to cook at home.

The spot for Tail of the Dragon

The property is cleaned, peacefully with the sound of the stream and stars at night. It gives you a 10mins ride to heat up your tires before hitting the curves at Deals Gap. It’s also a quick place to run to to grab your vehicle if you do wreck. I wrecked the first day and with the property being so closed I was able to ride back and rest up for another day. Mr. Henry’s photos is nostalgic. He’s a mechanic like me and his history is somewhat how I hope my life pans out. I loved the place and will definitely stay again. Thank you both for the warm welcome and accommodations to our late arrival.

Welcoming, thoughtful hosts Beautiful farmhouse and property

My husband and I are from the MS Gulfcoast and we wanted to go on vacation in the Smoky Mountains. We decided to try a location other than Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. We were NOT disappointed. O'Henrys IS perfect! The views of the Cheoah River, Santeetlah Lake, Santeetlah Dam(especially at night), the Nantahala National Forest, the Foothills Pkwy with Look Rock are absolutely breathtaking! US 129, the Tail of the Dragon, is the place to be. Phenomenal views! *Mackie and Jean Grant were exceptional hosts. They care about the quality of your stay. We were welcomed with cookies and they called to see that we arrived safely and they encouraged us to call them if we needed anything or had any questions. Genuinely wonderful folks! O'Henrys was more than enough room for the two of us. We were happy and at peace there. We enjoyed coffee in the mornings on the porch and took our meals there, too. We listened to the stream and watched turkeys trek up and down the property mornings and evenings. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at O'Henrys and are making plans to return to our home away from home. Thanks, Uncle Henry

Motorcycle Fall trip

4th time at OHenrys getaway, this a great place. Garage for motorcycles, firepit, quiet and beautiful surroundings. Very peaceful, great for stargazing at night. Or enjoy the varieties of motorcycles passing by during the day. Take a walk around the property. Thanks again Mackie and Jean.
