What a wonderful time to experience all that Puglia has to offer!
Situated 20 minutes from Bari, Puglia’s capital, sits a hidden gem in the quaint town of Bitetto, la città dell’olio (the city of oil). M&M is a beautiful one bedroom, one bathroom apartment which sleeps 4 (sleeper sofa included). The rooftop apartment has two spacious terraces, one with a breathtaking view of Cattedrale San Michele Arcangelo, and the other with a fabulous view of Bitetto’s Piazza Aldo Moro. The furnished apartment comes with a fully-equipped kitchen including a Lavazza espresso machine. Also included for guest convenience are a washer and dryer.

The communication with the actual owner was superb and very helpful.The apartment was beautiful , light and spacious with 2 large verandas to sun bathe , eat and drink on.The AC was perfect in those hot days keeping the rooms lovely and cool.Bitetto is a lovely town, narrow walkways, beautiful buildings to admire. We hired a car as we wanted to explore but in 6 days there was only so much to see and do.Puglia is amazing, beautiful and creative. Great food and people .It is very much appreciated to speak basic phrases in Italian, I think it is only corteous to do so.We are planning to come back and stay in the apartment for over 2 weeks next September.Thank you Michele.

A simply stunning option in Bitetto!

We were so happy with Monsarde Monache. The apartment was very large which made it the perfect place for us to take a break from the sightseeing duties occasionally. It had everything we needed plus the astonishing view of the cathedral from one of the two large outdoor terraces. Sitting watching the sun slowly set over the town from your elevated terrace with a of tasty drink is an absolute thing of beauty. If you want to stay in Bitetto; stay here!

Exceeded all expectations

We have had a lovely week in Bitetto. The apartment was exactly as described in listing, cleanliness was of a very high standard. and everything we needed and more supplied. Communication with the owner Michele was easy and very straight forward. We were lucky to be there for a four day festival of which we had a perfect view from both terraces It has to be one of the best rentals we have had. Stay here you won’t be disappointed

Just Amazing!

We stayed here for 6 nights for our first part of our Apulian adventure. Communication was quick, friendly and efficient. Check in was seamless and then you open the door to the apartment and immediately wowed by the pristine, well decorated, and comfortable setting. Pictures shown online are accurate but still can’t relay just how nice everything was. Having both a washer AND dryer was amazing, we did still hang dry clothes as the weather was amazing. There is so much outdoor space, we basically lived out there as the view also can’t be beat. Yes there is the cathedral right outside and bells do go off every 30 minutes from 0800-2200 but they are oddly comforting and not at all bothersome as the apartment blocks outside noise very well. There is no way to be disappointed with this apartment itself. The location is very local, not at all touristy, not a huge variety of shops but everything that is needed is a short walk away.

Excellent !

Excellente semaine passée dans l'appartement de Bitetto ! Rien à redire, très propre, bien équipé, terrasse énorme et gentillesse de Michele qui reste très disponible et à l'écoute en cas de soucis ! Localisation très pratique pour rayonner dans la région riche en diversité culturelle et en paysages magnifiques. Parking facile et gratuit dans les rues adjacentes. Si nous repassons dans la région, nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir. Encore merci de ce séjour !

Had amazing stay. Apartment is modern and has two great terraces to enjoy out door living. Bitetto is a small town but we found everything we needed on a daily basis. Quick train into Bari and beyond. Host was very helpful and checked in on us throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend

Es war ein wunderschönes Appartement am Rande des mittelalterlichen Zentrums. Das Appartement war praktisch neu. Dienstag war Markttag, kleine Geschäfte für den Einkauf waren zu Fuẞ zu erreichen. Nach Bari waren es ca. 20 Autominuten. Auch viele anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten Apuliens waren nach ca. eine dreiviertel Stunde entfernt.

Wunderschönes Apartment

Ich war eine Woche in Apulien und habe den Aufenthalt in dem Apartment sehr genossen. Der Ort ist sehr angenehm. Von dort aus kann man mit dem Auto alles Mögliche erreichen. Das Apartment war toll. Ich kann es in jeder Hinsicht empfehlen. Es ist alles neu, sehr geschmackvoll und zweckmäßig. Es gibt 2 Dachterrassen. Eine mit Blick auf die hübsche Kirche von Bitetto. Organisatorisch war alles unproblematisch. Der Schüssel liegt in einer Schlüsselbox. Im Ort gibt es kleine Supermärkte, wo man alles bekommt. Bis Bari fährt man ca 20 Minuten mit dem Auto. Also : falls man nach Apulien möchte und nicht nur am Strand liegen will kann ich diese Wohnung jederzeit jedem ans Herz legen.
