Cozy 2-story craftsman home in the heart of Amarillo features modern updates without sacrificing the original charm. Located on the brick streets of Plemons Eakle Historic District, up to 7 guests can relax in this 3 bedroom, 2 bath home, complete with a king size master suite, fitness room, full kitchen, workspace with printer, and front porch views of the walking trails and fountain located in Oliver Eakle Park. Downtown Amarillo, Route 66 and other attractions just minutes away.

NEW for 2024!! We have stocked our deck box with yard games like cornhole, balls and frisbees, a scooter, pickelball, etc! Lots of fun for your family stay!

Guests have full access to home including indoor laundry facilities.

Month long stays will be subject to a cleaning every 2 weeks and charged a cleaning fee accordingly.


Please note that the master bathroom has a toilet, sink, and tub (no shower).

The house was great. There were lots of extra blankets. Look around before you go shopping. They have a lot of things you need already there.

Nice historic home

We enjoyed our stay at the Tyler house. The front bedroom was good for our 85 year old mom as the shower was an easy step in. Coffee and snacks were great. Squeaky floors and lack of any tissues were the only drawbacks. Communication with Rachel was easy and she was very responsive.

Great stay. The only thing to note is that the floors are creaky, especially the stairs. It's not a big deal, but if you're not used to older homes, it can be bothersome.

Family time

Absolutely loved it...the house is beautiful and the neighborhood was quiet. We came to visit a sick relative....after a long day coming back to the house was relaxing...beds were amazing

Clean and cozy

My relatives flew in from overseas to Texas, and I took them to hike at Palo Dura Canyon State Park. We stayed in this cozy house for two nights. After tiring hikes, it was wonderful to relax and recharge in such a clean and welcoming place, filling our trip with beautiful memories.

Quaint home in a quiet neighborhood

Check in was easy & accommodations were very nice. The little details were well thought out- loved the breakfast and coffee provisions! It was a little warm in the upstairs bedroom but the rest of the house cooled nicely. Owner was quick to respond to questions.

Visit from Colorado

The house was cute. The only negative was it took at least 15 minutes for the water to warm up and the pressure on the showers was barely existent. Otherwise, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen satisfactory.

Comfy stay & very well stocked

We travel to Amarillo often to see family and pass through on road trips. This house is one of the best stocked kitchens with everything one needs to cook at the house. I loved all the blankets that kids could use while watching a movie (which by the way sounded like we were in the movie theatre with the sound bar) and nice selection of board games. The location is great in a nice neighborhood with a sweet little park across the street. Rachel -the host was quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Great place and will def stay here again!!

Nice home in Amarillo!

This was a perfect fit for our family. While in Amarillo, we visited Palo Duro Canyon (breathtaking), Route 66 and ate at "The Big Texan"! This house was a great location to all of these places. We came home every evening and played board games as a family. The host was very responsive and kind. We loved the extras that made us feel at home. We would recommend this home and stay again. Thanks for helping us create beautiful memories with our family.

Amarillo by Morning

Issues with keycode caused us to have to stay in a hotel our first night because we could not access the property. Owner is only willing to reimburse 1/2 of that hotel cost. Once that problem was solved, the remainder of our trip was pleasant .

Nice and peaceful neighborhood with park

Was a nice stay, house was clean and had everything we needed. Wasn’t fond of having them mow the lawn mid week with noisy kids that woke my toddler and caused quite a difficult afternoon for my wife. None the less, would recommend this house to anybody just not small toddlers or infant, as vehicles driving by and walls are paper thin.

Wonderful Home

This home is as adorable in person as the pictures display! The neighborhood is quiet and the property is on a cobblestone street across from a park, truly quaint. The home itself is beautifully decorated and the host has put a lot of thought into making you feel comfortable. A coffee bar, snacks, very nice linens and towels to name a few things that made the home even more enjoyable. Also, Rachel is truly the best host! I had some questions before reserving and got a quick response. I also reached out when staying and she responded immediately. It's obvious she wants anyone that stays here to enjoy it and we definitely did! If I find myself headed to Amarillo again I will absolutely stay here.

Great home away from home

We rented this house because it looked cozy and it was. We relaxed and enjoyed family. Would like to say that I didn't realize that the upstairs bathroom has no shower, just a bath and although a picture is available I failed to notice. Was also little sad that there was no grill available when based on previous guests they enjoyed it so not sure why it was no longer available regardless stove worked great and instead of carne asada we had tacos. Also if your a light sleeper please be aware that the upstairs has original floors and whatakes this home unique also makes it squeak. Front porch, driveway, back yard, inside games, and outside games were all a plus and enjoyed very much by my family. We would stay there again. Park across the street has a fountain and great for morning or evening walks.

Large, newer windows throughout home provide amazing natural light. Guests can enjoy the outdoors by walking across the one-way street to Oliver Eakle Park, unwind on the front porch, or relax in the back yard with outdoor dining area and BBQ grill.
