Sunset Retreat on Beautiful Lake Ontario

Welcome to our beautiful sunset retreat on Lake Ontario, a licensed and inspected STR in the town of Wilson. The Niagara region has so much to offer for your getaway and our home is convenient to Niagara Falls, Lewiston, Fort Niagara, Lockport and the Niagara Wine/Beer trail. Our peaceful cottage offers you a large treed lot with stunning views and sunsets on the water. We offer a clean, comfortable 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home.

The space
The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a coffee maker, stove/oven, microwave oven, fully stocked cookware and small appliances, eat in dining area with a workspace that includes an extra monitor.

If you choose to spend your time outside, we have a large patio with outdoor seating and dining area overlooking the lake with a Weber grill. Take in our beautiful sunsets right on the water in our comfortable Adirondack chairs and fire pit. Please note - there is no water access to the lake, but we are within walking distance to Tuscarora State Park that offers a beach, large playground, frisbee golf, boat, and kayak launch.

The house was in a great location! Right on Lake Ontario, close to everything in town, and about 30 mins from the Falls. Our pups really enjoyed the yard also. We had a small hiccup when we arrived, but the owner was quick to offer a solution to make the rest of our stay pleasant. She was quick to reply to any questions that I had.

Great place to get away. Town doesn’t have much to offer but the Home has everything you need for a great vacation. Amazing views of Lake Ontario!

Awesome Sunset Retreat

My son, his girlfriend, and I had an amazing stay at the Sunset Retreat. The house and the view were top-notch. My son, who’s 6’3, loved the shower. It was actually his height. The rooms were gorgeous, lots of fresh towels, games, and firewood - everything was well stocked. We truly couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Thirty minutes to the Falls and the Canadian border, so it was out of the hustle and bustle of Niagara but close enough to enjoy, which we did. A+ 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Fantastic

We had a wonderful stay! Close enough to Niagara Falls, gorge and hiking that it was a quick drive to all the sights and things to do but away from the tourism. This place is the best of both worlds where u are in a cozy comfortable accommodation with a spectacular view of lake onterio, and perfect access to everything else but can quietly relax when you get home! The house is clean, comfortable and well appointed. Great for cooking dinner, or just making a fire to relax around after eating out at one of the close local restaurants. We loved our stay and highly recommend!!

Sister visit

Sunset Retreat was truly just that for us. Lovely, spotless, comfortable home convenient to the marina for music and meals, wineries for adventure yet quiet and beautiful setting on the banks of Lake Ontario. Just as pictures depict except for the visiting hummingbirds, birds at the feeder and the pretty planters of flowers. Well stocked kitchen, games, outdoor furniture, etc. Very enjoyable to reconnect with my sister.

We have a large treed lot with plenty of space and privacy. Very peaceful neighborhood within walking distance to Tuscarora State Park. Our property offers water views from nearly every window with a lovely area at the waters edge to have a bonfire and watch the amazing sunsets that Lake Ontario offers.
