We enjoyed our time away from the North Bay Area with our kids. It was our first time visiting Mendocino, and the cottage was absolutely beautiful. We loved the stunning views, amazing wildlife, and excellent amenities. The kids especially enjoyed playing with Mickey the cat, and we also saw a family of ducks and a deer while relaxing on the back porch. It was a wonderful stay!

A comfortable, clean and well-equipped place with beautiful outdoors areas, hot tub and pool use, and bonus farm animals to admire! Conveniently located in Redwood Valley, and very quiet though close to the center of town.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. The amount of stress that rolls off your body when you see the beautiful gates is just the beginning. Everything was serene from the moment we pulled in - there is just the perfect mix of home and old world charm. The front porch gets the perfect breeze and privacy for morning chats with the cats and coffee. The hosts are very welcoming and warm. Book this one while you can because we would stay here as often as we could!

From check-in to check out the host was easy to work with and super helpful and friendly. The property was absolutely beautiful and I couldn’t be happier with how much I enjoyed the experience. The animals to sunsets and listening to the frogs in the evening is just what I needed. I’m recharged and will definitely be back to enjoy again! Don’t pass this place up, you’ll regret it!

This was a perfect weekend getaway! We loved meeting the horses and goats, walking around the vineyards, and relaxing in the hot tub. The kitchen was well-stocked and the unit was very clean and cozy. We had a memorable & lovely time, and we highly recommend this spot to others!

Beautiful place

This was such a nice place to stay. We were there for a week and had everything we needed. The bed was nice and fluffy and the jaccuzi was nice and hot! Loved watching the duck family.

Girls getaway

Melinda and Jerry were amazing. The cottage was so cute, comfortable and very clean. The animals on the property were so friendly and were a perfect place to recharge. Would definitely stay here again!

Peaceful Getaway
