A “Sweet Retreat” is a stunning Log Cabin that is near it all and ideal for those seeking amazing views, a relaxing treehouse escape, and an adventure. Blending traditional and modern elements, this design is a contemporary take on cabin living. We took inspiration from the Smokey Mountains and even a tiny nod to local legend Dolly Parton. To stand out from nearby listings, we chose a colorful palette that plays off the warm wood tones and added some stand out features.

Cabin exceeded all of our expectations. Also had bears right outside the cabin. Location is also convenient to everything. Would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect location

Came for the Rod Run and this was a wonderful quiet location, just a short drive to all things Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Comfy beds, clean, well decorated, beautiful views from inside with all the windows and outside on the upper and lower porches. I took a day to just sit on the porch and enjoy nature. Easy process to reserve, immediate contact and responses from owner. Some surrounding properties were on very steep inclines, however, this one was not too bad, even pulling a truck on a trailer. We unloaded in a flat area and then we were able to park truck, trailer and Yukon. I love this property and hope to stay again someday.

Ringing in the New Year at Sweet Retreat

My husband and I surprised our son and oldest grandson with a trip to Gatlinburg for Christmas. I made them each scrap books with pictures of Sweet Retreat, Anakeesta, Pigeon Forge, Ober Mountain and other things we wanted to do. They were so excited and we all had a wonderful time on our trip! Although it was more crowded than I have ever seen it before, we still were able to do many fun things together as a family. The cottage was perfect just as the photos showed. The check-in and check-out process was simple and Jon was very good with communication. We cannot wait to go back - just not during New Years :-)

Sweet Retreat -- Our New Annual Family Destination

I'm a creature of habit in most cases. Once I find something that I love, I rarely venture toward anything else. Sweet Retreat was an absolute hit for me and my family. The layout is cozy and flows well, the little bed in the loft had our 3-year old boy excited for bed each night (huge plus for us!), and the views from the top balcony are captivating. The ski lift bench seat is a fun and unique differentiating factor that makes for an awesome photo op before you go! We will be back!

Dollywood bachelorette

6 women visiting Dollywood and really enjoyed the cabin. Slept comfortably with pull out couch, 2 large bathrooms were plenty for us. Cute decor and fabulous fire place that turns on w a light switch
