The Mitchell’s Thanksgiving

Our overall impression was good, GREAT location and neighborhood, great proximity to shopping areas and restaurants, etc. We needed a mechanic and a great shop was only 5 minutes away and they did a very good job! Everything was clean and very comfortable. Suggestions: TVs in the other two bedrooms, make bathroom towel more accessible (we couldn’t find them), the internet didn’t work efficiently with our firesticks, and we were unsure of why someone else seemed to be on the property. Overall our stay was GOOD!

Horrible Communication

I reserved this property on 02/06/2024 for 2 adults and 2 pets for 2 days. This property was in the 100% total eclipse area and we wanted to be able to view it from the house. On 02/21/2024, I called back to add an additional day so we would have 3 continuous days The reservation stated that check-in instructions would be given 2 days before arrival. We did not get those instructions. On the morning of the 6th I attempted to contact the host to check on those instructions. We would be driving 200 miles and wanted to make sure we had a place to stay. We got voicemail. I called VRBO and informed them I had not received check-in instructions and they said they saw my reservation and to proceed to the property and they would contact the host. They could not contact the host either. When we got close to our destination we again called VRBO and told them it was check-in time and we still did not have check-in instructions. They said they would "take care of us" but we didn't have any guarantees. Check-in time came and went and we were still driving in hopes of having a place. I pulled over and checked email and we finally received check-in instructions AFTER our official check-in time. This was very stressful since we were not sure we would have accommodations. San Antonio was solidly booked due to the eclipse. When we arrived we checked out the property and saw the backyard grass was knee-high overgrown and the downstairs TV did not turn on. Not FUN at all.

Great stay for BMT

This cute little house is a great location from the airport and from Lackland AFB. My family felt comfortable, safe, and enjoyed some relaxed, family time with our Airman! Mahalo from my Ohana!

BMT graduation at Lackland AFB

This property was conveniently located near Lackland AFB, where we attended my nieces BMT graduation. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. The home was ready when I requested an earlier check in as we were flying in from Hawaii and were exhausted when we arrived in San Antonio. The host was very easy to work with and responded in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone visiting SA!

Location had a very bad smell of marijuana

The restrooms, were very dirty the tub gave us fungus on our feet. We got bitten by a lot of ants. We have a video of. I will not recommend to stay in this place again, due to we only got voicemail when we made a complaint.

Wonderful place for a great price

The house was nice and the price was great. The kitchen needed a few items such as hot pads, clean sponges for washing dishes, and dishes that can be used in the microwave. Otherwise it was a wonderful place to stay.
