The property itself is a whole experience to feed the soul — the rooms are designed to delight, gardens that inspire leisure, spacious and eclectic interiors for gathering and creating unforgettable memories. All this lying beachfront to the mesmerizing Pacific Ocean.


Monterrico’s iconic black sand beaches and deep blue ocean set the backdrop to a tropical destination for both weekenders and adventure seekers. Kindly note:

- Pets: We allow dogs (2) smaller than 30lbs. Please note that the property is not fenced and your pet would have to be under your watch for they can run away or face stray dogs passing by. Ask for more info & fees for pets heavier than 30lbs.
- Private Events: You must apply in advance if you wish to use the property for private events, weddings, retreats or marketing purposes.
- Smoking: NO smoking inside of the house or El Rancho area, thatch roof is highly flammable. Smoking is allowed in garden area ONLY.
- Housekeeping: Daily housekeeping is provided for the bedroom and bathroom areas.
For a more personalized experience you can hire Joel and Lily to be at your service from 8am to 7pm. They offer an amazing local cuisine experience; will gladly help you keep common areas clean and assist you while you relax. This would require a minimum tip of USD$20 + meals per day.
