TV and nearby WIFI router available. All cellular service providers are in at this location. Come relax with the peace and quiet of the country with quick access to Austin.
Please note: The model pictures has a nice water front view. There is no water lake at our site.

Nice stay

The hosts were very responsive, proactive, and accommodating. My family (6) stayed here for my cousin’s wedding in Austin and it was perfect for what we needed. Everything about staying here was smooth and efficient. Would definitely stay again. :)

Great location for visiting Austin. Quiet neighborhood. Accommodations met our needs. Host was great. Bunk bed mattresses are typical of bunk bed style - thin on a hard surface. Queen sized bed very comfortable.

This place was perfect for enjoying the city during the day and wanting to get out of the hustle and bustle! Not too far from anywhere! The owners communicated well and we had no issues at all! AC worked great! Only tip for next time users is to take short showers the hot water goes fast 😊

Comfortable

Nice location, clean and comfortable. Once we were able to get the hot water running for a hot shower, we were able to relax after a long drive and busy afternoon setting up for a market in Dripping Springs. A couple I might suggest is to ensure the grass is cut so your tenants do not have to walk through the tall grass to get to the camper; provide sweetener and creamer (even if it is powdered creamer) for morning coffee, and maybe shampoo and body soaps (perhaps collect the shampoos from your hotel stays and add them to a basket for your tenants). All in all a nice stay. Thank you.

Perfect RV for a quick getaway!

Brad and Lara were excellent hosts! Very responsive. The RV was clean and well maintained. My family comes to Austin pretty regulary to check on our rental house and see or friends. If you're unfamiliar with Austin do not be fooled by the map. This is a perfect location out and away from the "city" so you get a quiet nights rest but close enough that you can get to plenty of food, bars and downtown with a 10-20 min drive. Our party included myself, my wife, 3 year old and 2 dogs. We appreciated the country feel because we could take our dogs on a morning and evening walk. My daughter also got to see deer each morning and night which she loved. All in all great place and we will definitely use them again on our next trip.

Unique experience, perfect for our needs

We were in the area for multiple wedding festivities being held in Dripping Springs, but also wanted to be closer to Austin to go downtown during other times, and this was the perfect distance between both areas. The property was in a nice neighborhood and was clean upon arrival. Also very easy with self check-in. Brad and Laura were super responsive when we had a few special requests. We needed an iron and ironing board to press our clothes for the wedding, and they even had a neighbor drop off some clothes hangers because they were not available right then to bring them over! We had one hiccup with having hot water, but the solution was quickly resolved within minutes by Brad calling and walking us through turning on the backup water heater. Always wanted to try out staying in an RV and this was a unique experience, perfect for our needs.

It was our family’s first time staying in an RV so we had a bit of a learning curve. Once we got acquainted with the property, we enjoyed our stay. Excellent location for exploring south Austin without the headache of traffic. Kitchen and living area perfect for our needs. We made small meals for breakfast and dinner at the RV and enjoyed lunch out in the community. Great for saving money! Loved having a private room for the adults and bunks for the kids with the smart TV viewable from the bunks. We had just enough alone time/family time, much better than most hotel room set ups (unless you have multiple rooms). Added bonus was wildlife viewing because every evening, a deer family would come to the neighbors yard to graze, so we got to enjoy the scene. Small improvements I would suggest are higher quality mattresses and pillows and having furnace available year round for those unexpectedly chilly Texas mornings. All in all, a great stay and we’d definitely book again if we were back in the Austin area. Would recommend for other families looking to save on hotel rooms, wanting to avoid the mess of Austin traffic, wanting more privacy on family vacations, interested in checking out RV life, wanting to be able to cook meals while on vacation, wanting to explore south Austin, or wanting accommodations a little different than what a hotel room offers. Come get a taste of RV life while you explore Austin and beyond!

You might want to pass on this property.

We were attending a wedding in Austin, and since it was only my son and I, we decided to save a little money and "rough it". My wife would have never agreed to stay here, but I am all about some new adventures. Location was great, camper was ideal for just us two, and we were encourage when we pulled up and saw the personalized Aggie license plates. However, the yard was unkempt, there was a Toro mower on blocks in the front yard, and two other campers were in close proximity to ours. We get in about two hours before the wedding, rest up a little bit, and then we start to shower. COLD WATER. No hot water at all! Bit of a disappointment, but we figure it is a maintenance issue. We email the property owners letting them know of the issue. When we get back from the wedding, check our email and no response. Go in the bathroom and notice that there are three switches and one of them controls the hot water heater. It is turned off with specific instructions underneath to leave all three switches in their current position. Next morning, check my email one more time, and there is one from the host detailing our check out instructions. "Wash the dishes and put them back in the cabinet". Well, we did what was asked of us, cleaned them with soap & cold water, put them back in the cabinet. Not sure how sanitary that is, but oh well, we will not be accused of not following instructions. I just want to be safe and sanitary when I stay away from home, and this isn't it.

It’s very disappointing to see any of our guests experience any difficulties. At no time were we made aware of any concerns. The only communication we received was a request to check in early which we honored. For future guests please understand the switches mentioned by the previous guest control the water heater. On the panel is a note stating the required position as off, off and on. Someone must have turned off the water heater. If asked when they arrived we would have let them know. The previous guests seemed nice and mentioned no concerns. We have verified that when the switches are on the correct position, hot water is present as expected. That is why we have a note suggesting asking that no one change the position of the switches. As for the other two campers, one is not occupied as it is for our personal use and 50 foot away across the courtyard. The other camper which is provided for other guests is over 100 feet away. Our lawn is maintained by two separate tractors of which one was down and under repair at the host’s main driveway which we made sure to not cause any inconvenience to our guests. Since our guess admitted to washing dishes with cold water we rewashed them all in a dishwasher to be sure they are sanitized and it is never acceptable for our guests to return dishes as unsanitized to the cabinets. We do this between all guests, not just those that admit to washing with cold water. We work hard to provide a clean and comfortable stay.

We are in very quite setting with plenty of privacy. Our property is far enough from the city you feel as if you are in the country but close enough to get to the capital in 20 minutes and COTA in 25 minutes. We are part of the Southwest Territories neighborhood. However, your place sits on 4 acres and is only shared with the main home and one other camper which is over 100 feet way.
