Notre amour pour les grands espaces, la solitude, les miles de littoral peu développé, sont des choses que nous ne prenons pas pour acquis.

Les étonnantes faune, l'orignal, le cerf, les huards et les aigles sont quelques-unes des choses que vous verrez lors de la visite.

Que ce soit le kayak, le canotage, le canoë-kayak ou tout simplement trouver la crique parfaite ou île pour un pique-nique, vous trouverez le manque de voir bateau après bateau et rafraîchissante animée. Dans la soirée, détendez-vous par notre fosse lac de feu sur la balançoire.

Si ce 7x2 lac mile ne suffit pas à vous tenir occupé et diverti vous pouvez aussi rejoindre en bateau, kayak ou en canot 11 autres lacs. Peut être vu sur Google Earth suffit de taper dans la barre d'adresse junior Lac Maine et il vous amène à Boyce crique.

It is an absolutely amazing property with great views, hosts, and amenities. Would recommend this property all year round! The Mountain views, lake access, and owners are all fantastic.

Family Vacation

Perfect spot for a family vacation in the woods of Maine. Owners are very accommodating and attentive to detail. Cottage is clean and well supplied. Access to area lakes makes for full days of outings and quiet evenings a great time to wind down.

Family Fun

Tracy and Mike's cabin is a wonderful place to spend quality time with family. It is private with a beautiful lakefront view, but very accessible, even in the winter. Very clean, warm, charming cabin with modern amenities!

Third Time's A Charm

See my previous reviews. Keep coming back here because we love it on the lake, especially for kayaking. We also love the property, especially the porch swing. The owners are always very helpful and accommodating. We'll be back again I'm sure!

The location of this property on Boyce Cove makes it a rare gem in the grand lake flowage. The cabin was clean, comfortable and secluded - perfect for a family looking for a quiet and secluded escape. The small beach, dock and property were perfect for enjoying the lake, fire pit and bench swing. Dock and launch worked well for our family boats and are sheltered from waves and wind from the main lake. Plenty of paddle craft to explore the lake and nearby islands, lots of room for our retriever to roam around with us outside. This is our second stay on Junior Lake and it was wonderful. The Kerrs are excellent hosts, very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. I hope we can return sometime soon.

We have stayed at this lovely lake house several times now due to its location, privacy and beautiful lake and house. It’s something we look forward to yearly. Tracy is great and her place has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The best thing is being able to have our two little pooches with us who love to chase the chipmunks and sleep on the dock!! We’ve made great memories here and hope to continue to.

If you like quiet…this the place…didn’t see or hear any people for the 1st 3 days. On Wednesday saw another person in a boat. 2 boats fishing on 39k acres of lakes…. If you need to be a social butterfly, this might not fit your style. But the location and house were 100% Maine.

This is my happy place

Second time we were here. Love the lake and the kayaks. Love the porch. Love the house. I think there’s a new bed in the main bedroom, which was very comfortable. Pretty isolated, but that’s a plus for us!

Lovely cabin

Our family absolutely loved staying here. We spent the whole time either in the water, kayaking or fishing. The kids played so hard that they were ready for bed as soon as it got dark. The hosts were were great, if we needed anything, they were available. We want to stay there again.

Tranquility plus

We were very fortunate to rent this property at peak foliage time....The leaves were spectacular and reflected beautifully in the crystal clear waters of Junior Lake. The house provided everything we needed--a fully equipped kitchen, a propane heater, an outdoor grill, WiFi, washer/dryer and kayaks. For the outdoorsman, there are both opportunities to hunt and fish nearby. We saw and heard loons daily (often echoing in the peace and quiet) and saw a bald eagle several times. And, the house was dog friendly as was the entry point into the lake which our Black Lab enjoyed daily.

Loved this remote cabin on the lake

My partner, my dog and I loved our stay in Maine. The cozy cabin was great. Kitchen was well stocked, which was helpful since grocery store was 45 minutes away ( though a general store was closer). I loved the deck, which had a swing and a spectacular view of the lake. There’s a hammock, fire pit and a large swing down by the lake as well. Lots of kayaks and a canoe. We loved kayaking on the lake. Very relaxing and peaceful getaway. There.are lots of trees so very secluded..Lots of birds too. One issue was that the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms are difficult to access bc of ladder-like stairs. Main bedroom has double bed which was a bit tight so would have liked for other beds to be easier to access. Internet access was acceptable but not great. Last few miles of road are not paved - a bit rough to navigate the first time but you get used to it.. Certainly none of these were dealbreakers! I’d definitely stay again.

A wonderful stay––it won't be our last!

We loved our time at this peaceful cabin on serene, undeveloped Junior Lake. We were within a short paddle to an island where there's a terrific tent camping site, and felt as if the network of lake gave us endless exploration possibilities. The cabin was just as simple, rustic, and well-equipped as we'd hoped. We were incredibly grateful that owners Tracy and Mike live just a little ways down the road and we could text them with our needs or questions––they always responded immediately when we had any questions at all! Our two weeks of vacation were even better than we'd hoped, and we were sad to leave. Can't wait to return!

Our third stay

As always we highly enjoyed our stay here. It is so relaxing and beautiful. We continue to come back because of the tranquility this place has. Junior lake is so beautiful. Just sitting on the dock was one of our favorite things to do every day. The hardest part is leaving. We look forward to returning again.

Little piece of heaven!

The cottage was clean and had everything you would need. It also had games and puzzles for rainy days. The lake was peaceful and breathtaking from the dock in the morning. A cup of coffee, listening to the loons and watching the sunrise there is nothing like it!! A little piece of heaven. The best way to unwind and get away. Thank you Tracy and Mike for sharing your cottage.

Fantastic vacation

The cabin had everything we needed, all we had to bring was food and suitcase. We kayak and fished all three lakes, ate blueberries from the shore, roasted hot dogs over the open fire, swam and snorkled. The bass fishing was amazing. We saw loons with their young and other ducks. Took a walk down the road to see a deer standing in another roadway staring at us. Watched the red squirrels everyday and had quality family time together. The cabin was immaculate, very welcoming and peaceful.
