About this space
Whether you’re here for business, university, or entertainment, this bright and airy loft is well-suited for an enjoyable stay.

This polished studio boasts a fully equipped kitchen, en suite laundry, and high ceilings featuring tall windows that radiate plenty of natural light.

Street parking is first come first serve. However, complimentary parking is located in the paid lot at the rear of the building.

Also, train tracks run in the rear, no horn sounds, but white noise machine provided.

The space
Our condo is located in the historic W.S. Brown Mercantile Company which was a dry goods and grocery store. Now, it offers a relaxing and comfortable stay in an open space with denoted areas for dining, watching television, sleeping or working in a dedicated workspace.

Guest access
This is a secured building. Upon non-contact check-in, guests will have access to entire loft inside this secured building. Security code for loft to be provided an hour prior to check-in.

The condo was beautiful, very clean, and in a great neighborhood. There were many restaurants close by, within walking distance. The host was very helpful and responsive.

It was perfect- a beautiful and comfortable apartment! I felt safe and had everything I needed. It was close to UAB, the airport,,and great restaurants. I truly enjoyed my stay!

Lovely place!

This city condo was in a very convenient location with many restaurants within walking distance. Nice parking lot right outside the door. Felt very safe. Was very nice inside the condo with great bed / furniture / appliances. Communication with property manager was very easy, especially when we forgot one of our pillows and she made it easy to run by and pick it up a few days later!

Awesome Loft and Location

My husband and I came for a short two-night stay in Birmingham, en route to home. Loved this convenient location. One of the best appointed properties in which I've ever stayed. Is there anything the owner didn't think of?! Loved it!

Fabulous Stay

I chose this location for myself and my cousin (38F and 40F) to stay in a good spot downtown Birmingham so we could be centrally located to a comedy show at the Alabama Theatre. The theatre was a 13 min walk and we got there safely. After the show we were able to walk to multiple local restaurants and bars that were fantastic! The parking in the lot behind the space was very clean, safe and affordable. The pictures are super accurate and the space showcases the original beams, exposed brick, and beauty of the building. The train truly is not a disturbance as the horn doesn’t blow, but the sound machine is a great option on hand. Highly recommend Pizza Grace (Less than a block away on the same street) and East West (2nd avenue about 2 blocks away). There were several other options we didn’t get to try due to the hour wait for dinner. Phenomenal host and experience! We hope to get to stay there again.

Home away from home

This property was clean and had all necessities to keep us beyond comfortable for our weekend stay. Melissa was a gracious host and responded promptly to all of my questions. It was a perfect location near Sloss Furnaces. 5 thumbs up!
