GUEST VERIFICATION:
To ensure a smooth and secure stay, we require the primary guest listed on the reservation to complete a simple screening process within 48 hours of booking confirmation. Please note that your reservation is not confirmed until these steps are completed.

Once verified, and prior to check-in, guests will be asked to sign a Rental Agreement that includes:
- Agreeing to our rental terms and conditions.
- Providing a valid government-issued ID and a matching credit card before check-in.
- Paying a non-refundable $60 damage waiver. The damage waiver provides coverage for accidental damage during your stay, as long as it is reported prior to your check-out. This is collected either at the time of payment through the booking platform or afterward, depending on which platform you use to book.

The damage waiver covers accidental damage that may occur during your stay. To ensure coverage, all damage must be reported promptly while you’re still at the property. We understand there is normal wear and tear at houses but should anything accidentally break or get stained during your stay please just let us know. Thank you!

NOTE: Outdoor pools in North Carolina typically close for the season in October. Availability may vary depending on weather conditions and property-specific maintenance schedules. Please inquire ahead of your stay if pool access is essential.

Valentine ski trip

Two adults and 4 kids. We had more than enough space. Some beds weren’t used. I appreciated what was already provided, even though I planned to go buy:Coffee and Laundry/ Dishwaher pods. Hosts were very helpful.

Clean, Beautiful Lodge House

The house was exactly as pictured—beautiful, clean, and gorgeous views of the mountains. It’s a bit remote and the road up to it is difficult to navigate in the dark, but we had an absolutely amazing time and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Asheville area. Thanks so much!

Quality Time

My six children and I enjoyed a two night get away for Fall Break in October. Something about escaping reality for a few days makes everyone better together. We had a fabulous time. Exploring outside, eating, enjoying the hot tub, playing pool, and Pac-Man. Everyone had fun ages 8-44.

Absolute Perfection

My friend group and I stayed here to celebrate NYE & a birthday and it couldn't have been a more perfect space. Everyone slept comfortably, we had plenty of space to do things together or individually, there's a TON of deck space to take in the amazing views, and the hottub was just the cherry on top. Elliott was super communicative from the get-go, I asked a few questions leading up to our stay and he was always very kind and prompt with replying. All of my friends loved this property and we're already talking about returning in the future!

Not QUITE as Expected

The property was lovely but we struggled with a few things... accessing the internet and thus, the TV, was a challenge. The upstairs living area is a good bit smaller than it appears. Locked ourselves out of the bathroom, so caution: that's easy to do! The upstairs furniture is firm - a bit stiff. Would stay again, but just good to know what the set up is like.

Horrible deceitful dangerous BEWARE

We walked into a punched through door, piles of trash outside, sewage smell, ragged sheets and towels, a hot tub that had the breaker turned off and was full of phlegm and other pool scum. We let the property manager know immediately. They pretend it is listed by a couple named Elliott and Kylie Caldwell and that you speak to Elliott personally, but it’s a larger management company. It says it is ski in and ski out, but it is not unless you climb a hill and jump wires. We alerted them of the door and trash and they did not acknowledge. We had to tell them to acknowledge. It was dirty. We vacated without finishing our reservation. We asked for a refund. They told us we still had to pay and the cleaning fee. We sent photos of all of the trash and showing how uncle ran it was. Open bandages, mold, dishes in dishwasher
we have been fighting with them and they have said they will not refund us until we sign a legal document to not share our experience and remove our review. We can’t do this as it would be dishonest and others will have a negative experience. We are not in the wrong. We will never rent with them again. They need to resolve these issues. They have still not refunded us as of the day as this review. We have proof and photos of all above.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin! The hot tub was perfect, and we had a great time playing pool. The views were absolutely stunning, and we loved exploring the surrounding area. Although the nearby ski slope is permanently closed, we still highly recommend this cabin for a peaceful and relaxing getaway!

Honestly a dream!

We stayed here for my sister’s bachelorette weekend & it was so amazing. I was a restful getaway close enough to Asheville to not run out of things to do!! Very grateful for the experience!
