The house is stylish and comfortable. Owners are very nice. The huge pool is spectacular and is serviced twice a week. We stayed during the historic March heat wave and spent lots of time swimming and lolling about on the pool floats. Had a great time! The house needs some overdue maintenance - sliding glass doors to the pool that don’t slide, a dishwasher that doesn’t work, a garage door opener which is broken. But these were minor inconveniences and overall we loved our stay.

There is real soul at Steve McQueen's place! It's so casual and so simple. Host Lulu was great with communication and sent an online guide to the house that helped with all the systems and features. This house has stories — and we loved the patina everywhere that is evidence of that. This is the real Palm Springs.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 days with some friends and we had an amazing time! The home is beautifully decorated and the photos around the house make you realize just how historical the home is. The house was the perfect retreat to come back home to after being out and about throughout the weekend. The backyard is secluded and the pool was the perfect temp all weekend. We just married in Palm Springs and stayed here for the weekend. Lu and Emmanuel left us a wonderful treat and made us feel so special on our arrival. They are both super responsive with any questions I sent their way and were super accommodating. If Lu and Emmanuel would have us, we'll probably make this our go-to spot on our yearly trip to PS for our anniversary. Thank you, both!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

What makes 811 East Grace Circle unique is that it hasn't been stripped and staged into just another Palm Springs rental. The bones of Steve McQueen's 1961 world are still here. The original fireplace he gathered around. The vintage appliances that served the house in his era. The very lounge chairs where the King of Cool stretched out in the desert sun, and the boxing bag where he kept that restless energy sharp. These aren't reproductions or props chosen to fit a theme. They're the actual pieces of his life here, preserved through the decades, so when you settle into a chair or warm up by the fire, you're touching the same details he did.
Around those original features lives the rest of the story: the mid-century architecture by Krisel & Palmer, the most iconic photographs ever taken of McQueen displayed throughout the house, and one of the largest private pools in all of Palm Springs, born from a dare he gave the contractor who thought he could trade on his name. Together they make this more than a place to sleep. It's the authentic hideaway where he escaped Hollywood, relaxed with his family, and found his inspiration, offered now, exactly as he knew it, to the few who want to live inside a legend for a few days.
