Fun family get away

This was a very clean, well-stocked, pet friendly home. We loved the fire pit/grill combo, as well as the two story dock with kayaks.

Great house for our family vacation!

We truly enjoyed our stay! The house was great and very accommodating! Celebrated graduation with several 18+ year olds and everyone had a blast! Everything we needed was included and the location was beautiful!

Great stay with extras

We had a wonderful stay in Gainesville at the Lake House. The property was left stocked with coffee, tea, water, plenty of paper supplies and more. Great communication and great location to adventure around town.

Great stay

House is very cute with plenty of room. The living room only has a small couch that also turns into a bed but it was great for my hubby and I. The deck has plenty of seating as does the sunroom. We enjoyed sitting in the deck in the mornings and just listening to nature.

Home with a lot of amenities and pretty view

From shampoo, soaps, conditioner, sugar, coffee, tea, spices, stocked kitchen, pet supplies, etc., and a pretty view. Our dog enjoyed his stay. So lovely to stay and getaway to this peaceful place. Thank you for letting us stay in your home.

Fishing trip

Beautiful house, quiet neighborhood, beautiful scenery. Everything was perfect for a fishing trip (didnt catch a fish but thats our fault on time of the year). Host was responsive and helped whenever we needed it. Checked in early and never wanted to leave. We will be back!!

Quick weekend to gather with local family

Had a great time! Was cold so didn’t get to enjoy the lake and dock. Home is stocked very well and very clean. Only thing we might suggest is a comfortable place to sit. The sunroom is wonderful but just nothing comfortable to gather on. Would come back for sure and really appreciate the stay!

Good fit for our needs

Last minute stay for a fishing tournament on Lake Lanier. House was as described.Just a note for future fishermen renters:Concrete pads were nice and wide, but short. So parking was a little tight for a boat and trailer without unhooking to park side by side and there was no power on the dock.But everything worked out. We appreciate the owners allowing us to stay!

Ok but wouldn't stay again

1. beds are very uncomfortable 2. no garbage disposal 3. no where in the entire house to comfortably sit inside as a family 4. sunroom is too hot to sit in 5. house is totally compartmentalized so no where to really be together as a family unless out on deck 6. lots of bugs in sunroom and on deck

Thank you for your review. We are sorry that there is no garbage disposal at our lake house. We don’t realize it’s so important to you. Our beds are new, don’t know if mattresses are too firm or soft to you. Summer time has more bugs outside, deck and sunroom are connected, sometimes bugs fly into Sunroom if slide door opened in Sunroom. We have AC in Sunroom, 6 high chairs seats and 6 outdoor seats in Sunroom. We also have 6 seats in dining area and sofa inside. We are so sorry that our lake house doesn’t fit your needs. We will improve more for your future stays if we have a chance to host you again. We appreciate your feedback.

Perfect spot on the lake!

We enjoyed our stay at the Lake House! Everything was so thoughtfully appointed, from coffee pods to beach towels and Huge TVs and the Firepit! The dock is wonderful, spacious and so relaxing. And the Deck and bar area of the house were our favorite spots. The owners thought of everything and we felt comfortable, safe and had a great stay!

Gainesville GA is a nice place for families and travelers. This lakefront home has own private party dock, just steps away to go swimming, fishing, boating, kayaking and more. Boat rentals can bring pontoon boat to the dock as well, overnight docking allowed. Guests can also bring their own boats, parking space can fit a boat trailer. This lake home is also closed to main road, gas stations, shops, restaurants, supermarkets, boat ramp, rowing club, Olympic Park etc. It's so convenience plus it's a quiet, peaceful and relaxing place!
