Stunning Lakeview Home: 2BR+Loft, Kayaks, Fire Pit & Shaded Yard – Pet Friendly!

Welcome to our home in Sackets Harbor. Our home offers a beautiful scenic waterside view on a wildlife reserve about 3 miles from Downtown Sackets Harbor! You can find waterfront dining restaurants, local stores, historical sites on the battlefield, and boat lounge docks for small to large watercraft. At Sackets, there is always a lot going on throughout the seasons, including festivals and other entertainment.

The Space is newly renovated. We have one full main bedroom with a full bath on the first floor, one guestroom with one queen, and the loft space on the second floor has one full bed and a comfortable sofa bed.
We also have a full kitchen that includes everything you need, ranging from cooking pot to plates to condiments, all on-site.
Our porch is big enough for you and your family or friends to chill out and relax.
The backyard is shaded and cool during hot summer days thanks to the trees around the area, which have a swing and hammock to relax on. Outdoor activities such as corn hole on land and kayaks for the water are all offered in our space, along with other outdoor games and a bonfire pit to roast up some tasty smores and other delicious treats at night.
We also have a 50-inch smart TV on site where you can access your favorite apps like YouTube, Hulu, Netflix, Disney +, ESPN, etc. In the end, we wish you a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
P.S. If you love fishing, you've come to the right place. Our home is the perfect destination for year-round fishing, including the ever-popular ice fishing, with the added convenience of snowmobile access during winter. So pack your gear and get ready to reel in some big catches!

Quiet Retreat

We loved our stay here. We came up to visit our son at Fort Drum and the cabin was perfect for our stay. Very clean, quiet, and beautiful scenery while still being close enough to town and base. Highly recommend!

Really nice houtside outside of Sackets Harbor

We had a wonderful stay at Jane’s house. It had everything we needed and was probably the cleanest house we’ve ever rented. Located in a very quiet neighborhood just outside of Sackets Harbor (which turned out to be a lovely place with great opportunities for walking), it was a great location near Lake Ontario, the St. Lawrence, and the things we wanted to do. Jane was a most gracious and responsive host, again the best we’ve ever had.

Beautiful Location

This was a very clean and cozy home. Jane was available to answer any questions or concerns. She left us a yummy bottle of wine from a local winery. We will stay again when back in the area.

Peaceful retreat in nature

My husband and I were in town with another couple for a friend's wedding and stayed at this lovely little cottage on the water. It was perfect for our weekend visit and the owner was excellent with communication. The home was clean and well stocked and we loved the beautiful nature setting and the outdoor amenities. Highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere near Sackets Harbor.

Perfect Location, Great Host

Great location for relaxing, fishing, or enjoying local attractions. Close to village of Sackets Harbor and just 45 minutes from Alexandria Bay. Jane is very responsive and made everything easy. WiFi signal is strong and there is a nice desk area set up for working or surfing the web. Beds were very comfortable and the entire property very clean and well kept. Will definitely stay again if we have a chance.

Perfect Family Vacation Getaway

This property was absolutely lovely, and Jane, the host, was very helpful, responsive, and welcoming! My 3 year old son LOVED the loft bedroom and his face lit up whenever we entered the home. The yard was lovely and our dog enjoyed lounging in the back yard in the shade. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!

Beautiful setting

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. The master bed and bath on the ground floor was great. We had a 94 year old and another person with mobility issues. The house was perfect for them. The view was fabulous and great for bird watching. The house is within easy access to Sackets Harbor.

Soldier Visit

We planned a last minute visit to our daughter station at Ft Drum! Everything about THIS location was perfect! The house was immaculate, well appointed with everything you need. Beautiful view, close to everything with a perfect balance of peace and privacy. Jane was a gracious host - very accommodating. We will definitely stay again.

Wonderful stay in Sackets!

We truly enjoyed our stay in Sackets! The house was clean, spacious and very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Beautiful view and a nice deck to relax on. Our dogs enjoyed watching the little critters run by. In a great location between Sackets and Dexter. Kayaking, fishing, and lots of history to explore. Jane is a very responsive host. We would highly recommend it and will hopefully be back in the future!

Check in was fine, easy. Kitchen was lacking in some basics - example only one bowl, no wine glasses. Biggest issue was the master bath, very damp so towels never felt dry. Bed was uncomfortable downstairs as well. Was annoying that couldn’t control temperature yourself.Positives were the location was good, setting was beautiful and the upstairs was great for kids.

Regarding the humidity, we typically enjoy a pleasant and cool summer, but there was an unexpected heat spell during your visit, which is why it may have felt more damp than usual. As for the downstairs bed, we have tested it ourselves and found it to be quite comfortable. It’s important to note that we haven’t received similar feedback from other guests, who have expressed satisfaction with their comfort. Most importantly, we want to clarify that adjusting the thermostat to your preferred temperature is entirely within your control. If you experienced any issues with the thermostat being unresponsive, it’s likely a temporary glitch. It’s crucial for us to know your ideal temperature so we can address any issues promptly. Remember, you’re always welcome to adjust the settings, and we are just a phone call or message away to assist you. We’re thrilled to hear you loved the location and that the upstairs space worked well for your kids. We look forward to the opportunity to host you again in the future!

Perfect getaway!

This adorable home had absolutely everything you can dream of. It was incredibly clean and well appointed down to Keurig pods with little International delight creamer packets. It’s very private with big trees all around. You really feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere but not far from town. We had some of the best dinners only a short 3 mile drive from the house. There was an Italian restaurant that was incredible and the coffee shop is out of this world. We weren’t there to fish, but I imagine it is a perfect spot if you’re looking for a getaway to go fishing with your family. The owner obviously takes great pride in her home and she’s easy to work with. We loved our getaway and Sackets Harbor and hope to return. Thanks for a great vacation!

This home is a beautiful all-season getaway. You can see different types of wildlife year-round. Our home offers a scenic waterside view on a wildlife reserve just 7 minutes away from Downtown Sackets Harbor. Waterfront dining, local shops, historical sites, and boat docks for small to large watercraft are available in the area. Throughout the seasons, there are festivals and other entertainment options. The view here is amazing in all seasons and it's a great place for fishing too. You can enjoy on-site fishing in the Spring and also try ice fishing.
