The beach is walking distance no major roads to cross. Our home is perfectly located, no traffic. Most often the waves, wind and the wild life are the only sounds of the evening. It's just far enough away for quiet and just close enough to have ease of access. The home has everything you could want in a beach house. Tiki bar, mini fridge outdoor shower, tons of beach toys, a wagon to cart it all if willing. Tesla Charger, Fenced yard, plenty of parking, connections for an RV. Charcoal l grill, and outside swing. Black out curtains in the main bedroom, central air, and ceiling fans in all living spaces. Bedroom comes with a portable box fan for your comfort. Plenty of locations to charge your electronics, portable speaker for beach jams. Two twin beds in the main living area are perfect for kids. We are a family of 4 and this is our happy place! We’d love for it to be yours as well.

House was in a great location and has a fenced yard. Short walk to the beach and a great coffee breakfast shop not too far. We took our boat and was about a two minute drive to the boat ramp. Owner responded to any question pretty quick. Will defiantly stay there again.

Beautiful and clean little house!

A must stay for couple.

We used this house for our lil honeymoon getaway. It was very nice inside and out. We enjoyed our stay. Everything worked properly. Would definitely use this spot again for a weekend getaway for me and my new wife.

So nice!

We really enjoyed our stay. Our beach plans got rained out, so we just hopped on the ferry to visit Galveston. Everything was clean and the space is used so efficiently. The tall ceilings are nice. Overall, very cozy, great place for a family of 4!

I’m sorry for the poor weather it’s been a rainy summer for sure! Glad ya’ll found something fun to do. Relaxing getaway

We had a wonderful stay! The home is very well stocked with all the essentials, host is incredibly friendly and communicative, and the house is close enough to the beach to walk while being a little set-back from the more “raucous” part. The home is quiet and peaceful and PRECIOUS! The extra touches really make the place special and welcoming.

We had the best time !! The house was beautifully done!! We will definitely be going back down to stay again !! It was really clean everything that you would need and more was there !!! The Turtles Nest is a must stay !!! ❤️❤️❤️ we had our granddaughters with us and our fur babies !! Fenced in yard you didn’t have to worry about them !! Great Stay at Turtles Nest

Check in process was smooth. The lock keypad wasn't working but the property owner reached out ahead of time and communicated where to find a key. Walked in a everything was spotless. They had everything you need to enjoy a beach day. Chairs, a grill, beach toys for kids, even a Bluetooth speaker (which was fantastic because we forgot to bring ours). There was coffee and creamer, the bathroom has soaps and plenty of towels. It's close to the ferry side, which in our opinion has the better beachfront ( much wider and less busy). The house is decorated beautifully but without a lot of glass and porcelain knick knacks that you find in most beach houses, and as parents of a two year old we very much appreciated that. They even had a childproof lock, to keep him from wandering outside unattended. We did wish the stairs had a gate though, for while we sat out on the deck, but we realize not everyone needs that. Overall it was the best beach house we have stayed in, the size was perfect as it's hard to find a beach house that sleeps 4 and not 15. We will definitely be repeat guest at Turtles Nest.
