This home is located walking distance to downtown, a fitness park and river access. The backyard is surrounded by woods. If you are interested in Stand Up Paddle boarding on the Wisconsin River that is also a possibility, make arrangements. Riverwood Retreat is centrally located to 10 golf courses within 20 miles. The Riverview Hospital is .5 miles away. The curling club and hockey rink are 2 miles away. Every season has a reason for a visit.

Very convenient to shops, golf courses etcDog friendly which was a plus as our dog sitter fell through. House was clean and had lots of options for relaxing inside and outside.

Great location

We were in town for a softball tournament and the house was perfect! It was great to have the space to prepare meals and prep for long days at the ballfield. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic stay!

This home was perfect for our family as we were in town for our daughter’s wedding. The location was a great home base close to the venue, stores and restaurants but in a very quiet neighborhood. There was a ton of space with everything we needed to be comfortable. We come to Rapids often and will definitely consider this property in the future!

I have been a life long resident of Wisconsin Rapids and have grown up in this neighborhood.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

While Wisconsin Rapids and the world is constantly changing, this little neighborhood seems to stay the same. It is near things that originally attracted people to this area: Water, nature, and endless recreation opportunities. This property is located very close to our home. I thought that the close proximity to our residence would allow for ease of management.
This home is unique. It has what used to be an indoor green house. This creates lots of natural light. There are several areas in the house where you can sit, relax, and enjoy a cup of coffee while observing the birds and wildlife or watch the snow falling.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Location, Location, Location! The Wisconsin River and walking/biking trails are very near by, just 1/4 mile away. Rental bikes are located at the end of the lane, just under the bridge. A Stand Up Paddleboard business is across the street. Make arrangements with SUP the Rapids LLC to tour the Wisconsin River. The back yard joins a conservancy. Enjoy a fall or winter walk through the woods and observe one of the virgin timber stands that still remain in the state.
