Sea Pines Getaway

Loved this place. We booked last minute and the owner was so accommodating. Getting our gate pass and checking in was so easy. The place was perfect for our family of three. Very clean, nice view of the golf course, and close to the beach. Great location. Look forward to visiting again.

Would rent again!

We had a great time and the villa is lovely. It is a nice size with the basic necessities included. The back area is perfect for walking your dog. It’s pretty close to the beach and we had a blast riding bikes on the beach. Bring your Keurig with you if you use one but they do have a regular drip coffeemaker. The master bed is very comfortable! Great trip!

First Stay at Sea Pines

The property was nicely decorated, the back yard was great for our little dog. It was the property that we picked but a little far from the beach for our next visit. We appreciated the delivery of the chairs. Was disappointed that the dryer did not work until Thursday. Beds were very comfortable, appreciated having the bikes on the property and ready to go.

one floor living easy beach access

If you need accommodations for someone who has trouble getting around, this is the place for you. There is one step into the villa and that's it. You can pull your car up at the Sea Pines Beach Club beach access and it is a very short walk to the beach (just walk down the side of a building and down a short wooden flat boardwalk and you're there) A heads up concerning the beach gear you have at the villa. The chairs were mildewed and pretty deteriorated. I've noticed this at other places I've stayed as well. Maybe you have a system in place for replacing them periodically and I just caught the end of the process.

Disappointing on many levels....

While I realize that it is hard on a home, having so many people in and out every week, there there are a few glaring, but correctable problems with this villa. There were ants (which we reported and never got a response), broken furniture, a kitchen way too small for prep for our family of just four, cabinets that needed painting and attention, and a mismatched array and lack of kitchen items. There were assortments of items randomly thrown in closets, and the bathrooms needed updating badly. All in all, it was heavily warn, and though pretty in the pictures, cannot be considered well appointed. We appreciated it being pet friendly, and we faithfully covered all the couches. Your library of beach reading was great! The walk to the Beach Club was l/2 mile. The bikes were quickly replaced when one broke. And, though uncontrollable by the owner, the renters in the next villa took up all four parking spaces in front, leaving us to scramble for one space for our car. A little TLC would go a long way in bringing this villa up to its advertised standard.

Great Family Getaway

We stayed at this wonderful condo with our two adult children and two small dogs. Located right off the golfcourse fairway in a lightly wooded loop. It was clean and well appointed with everything needed for a stay, including fresh linnen, books, chess table, TV, WiFi, and laundry room. The kitchen is loaded with all the appliances, utensels, and dishware you could need. The hosts provided a "starter set" of tissues, paper towels, toilet paper, dish detergent and so on. Out in the storage yard is a shed filled with beach items such as chairs and boogie boards. We have been to HH several times, but this was the first time in Sea Pines. What a lovely gated neighborhood. Clean, secure, well maintained and immaculately clean. There are bike paths along every road and we put the two bicycles to good use. The beach club is only a short 5 minute walk or you can drive if you get lucky enough to find a spot early or later in the afternoon. Overall a perfect base camp for our HH adventures and a great place to unwind at the end of an eventful day.

A great stay !

We only booked our stay at Villa #34 about 10 days prior and we were so pleased upon our arrival ! It was our first visit to HH . It was immaculate upon arrival and was bigger than what we saw in the pictures. Loved the extra table/chairs for game playing ! The backyard/golf course view was so peaceful for morning coffee and perfect for star gazing at night. The kitchen had enough supplies for meal prep and overall we were so happy ! A quick three minute bike ride to the beach ( so grateful for the two bikes included - one less thing to book) or about a 7 minute walk made the location perfect. The only thing we needed was more behind the door hooks for bath towels - 😁! We had my elderly mother with us so the one floor living was perfect . Thank you for a great stay and we will be back for another visit !

Fun place to explore nature and beaches with small dogs

What a great time we had at this comfortable townhouse with space right off the patio for comfortably walking our small dogs. Two highlights were biking to the beach and then along the sand to watch the many sea birds including brown pelicans fishing at low tide and then to escape from the mid-day sunshine we hiked through the Sea Pines nature reserve - where the alligators were out looking for a mate (although they stayed safely away from dogs and people). The boardwalk portion of the nature trail made it possible to get up close to observe nature. We are nature lovers and there were no crowds so this comfortable townhouse gave us our perfect weekend adventure!

Relaxing week

Communication was excellent! Location is within easy walking distance to the Sea Pines beach club/beach. Very comfortable furnishings except the bed in the master seems a little firm-but nick picking.

Exceptional Thanksgiving

Just as expected. A perfect fit for our family of four and beloved dog. We rode the provided bikes everyday. Walked to the golf course and beach. The house is well equipped with everything we needed to have Thanksgiving dinner there. A really great experience from start to finish!
