Rented this little cottage for a group of us guys while we fished a tournament on a nearby lake. Stay was nice. Good lakefront home. Had a dock on the lake and had a nice fire pit along with firewood for guests. It looked shallower on the dockside so I think it’d be ok for kids to swim. Driveway was a good size for parking. Was able to fit 3 trucks and 3 boats. Just would be nice if they opened up the laundry room for guests. If there were kids or anyone swimming there’s no way to wash/dry clothes towels. Also, I would document arrival and departure very carefullly. As soon as we left they tried hitting us with a dog fee. They were adamant that we had a dog with us and were billing us a 250 dog fee. Their cleaner said the house smelled of dog and they vaccuumed dog hair after we left. So apparantly the house must’ve not been clean before us if they found dog hair because we didn’t have a dog. After a week of back and forth the owner went and inspected and finally waived the dog fee. This was the most stressful part knowing we had no dog, and if they were trying to pull a quick one on us. Other than that the stay was good.

Mid-week stay

Cute, clean place away from everything. After reviewing the list of items to bring, there was lots more in the house than we anticipated. Great fishing off dock for pan fish and perch but unfortunately, not so good on the lakes.

Wonderful Stay

This is a beautiful property. We enjoyed our stay. We went out hiking each day and returned to enjoy the camfire, the view and the comfy beds each night. We will definitely come back again.
It looks like a Thomas Kinkaid painting. Beautiful place.

A classy cabin

Everything about this cabin was awesome. Plenty of room for the 5 of us. We loved the decorations in the cabin as well as outside. Kevin and Heidi were super helpful with a detailed list for startup and shut down procedures.

Nice cabin in quiet area

Really great property in a quiet area. Great Lake for fishing or water activities. Easy to get to and from town if you need to. Our stay was great and our kids had a blast. There is no Wi-Fi so plan accordingly if you have kids or expect heavier usage. Cell service is fine in the area. Spend your time relaxing on the water, roast some marshmallows and renjoy the quiet!

Beautiful quiet lake getaway

This was a wonderful property for a family getaway. The dock was perfect for fishing and water access for a small fishing boat rental. Kayaks and a SUP were available. The lakes had low traffic. Fun to see super friendly ducks and deer wonder through the property. Property owner was easily reachable with questions/concerns we had. Overall, the property was very clean but I notified the owner that the stove and oven needed some cleaning to prevent it from smoking. He indicated it would be taken care of ASAP.

Perfect Cabin for Family Vacay!

Cabin was just as we expected based on the listing. Loft area was perfect for the kids. Was able to fish right from the dock and have fires each night! Great communication with the owners, too! Would definitely stay there again!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

This property is great. The hosts were very thourough with the check in/check out process. The house was just as described, the dock was great, caught a few fish. Out of all the places we have stayed when doing our yearly up north trip the last 8 years this is our favorite. Would definitely recommend and try to stay again.

Quick get away

This was a fabulous house to stay in on the lake. The house was meticulously cleaned, probably the best up north house we've ever stayed in. The property is beautiful. Looking out on the lake. Lake. It has so many extras to offer. Communication with the owner was excellent. We will definitely come back to stay again.

Lake cabin

Lovely cabin with 2 bedrooms and a loft (with room for 4 kids in the loft). Our family enjoyed our stay and we hope to return in the future. Owner was very helpful and responsive.

Lofdahl Stay

Great place, great location, great chain of lakes. Kitchen, grill, fire pit and developed shoreline with dock. Seeing deer, loons, eagles everyday. Trip and cabin could not have been any better
