Charming, Updated Home in the Heart of Downtown Glen Arbor!

Charming home in the heart of downtown Glen Arbor. This two bedroom, one bathroom cottage style home was originally built in the 1950's, but was fully remodeled 4 years ago. The first bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has a queen bed, there's a queen sleeper sofa in the living room, and the home can accommodate up to a maximum of 6 people with the sleeper sofa. Linens and towels are provided, there is air conditioning and heat, and a drip coffee maker and Keurig in the kitchen. There were also brand new mattresses put in the home in September of 2022! There is also new bedding, rugs, and a new smart TV. The dining area has a table with two chairs, and there are two additional folding chairs in a bedroom closet. The patio table outside seats four. This home is located directly across from the Glen Arbor Town Park, is only two blocks to Lake Michigan, several blocks from Glen Lake, and you can walk everywhere in town! Restaurants, galleries, shops, the grocery store and bars are all right around the corner! Glen Arbor sits in the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, and the famed Dune Climb and Pierce Stocking Drive are a short 5 mile drive. Hiking, biking, boating, skiing (water and snow), wine tours, beer tours, and so much more are available for recreational fun! Or, visit one of our other charming small towns on the Leelanau Peninsula, such as Leland, Northport, Suttons Bay, Omena and Lake Leelanau for day trips! We're also a convenient 30-45 minute drive to Traverse City and its airport, festivals, and shopping. There's no better place for summers at the beach, fall leaf tours, winter snowshoeing and cross country skiing, and spring cherry blossoms. Let us host you in this beautiful part of the country! We have an established rental history, and can't wait to have you as our guests. Two cars maximum allowed in the driveway in front of the home. All other cars to be parked in downtown Glen Arbor. *Bluebird has been rented for the last four years on VRBO to rave reviews, but we now have a new account due to the sale of our company! Bluebird will now be our one and only property to rent, and we look forward to exceeding your expectations!* THIS PROPERTY RENTS FOR FULL WEEKS ONLY FROM FRIDAY-FRIDAY IN THE SUMMERTIME! If we have a last minute opening, we may rent for a smaller period of time. Fall and winter typically have a 2-3 night minimum. Our guests always have first right of refusal to the same week/time period the following year, so we don't know until their departure if that current week is available.

Great Place in Glen Arbor

This is a great little cabin to stay in right in the heart of Glen Arbor. Very close to everything in town and all the great Sleeping Bear dunes activities nearby!

The cabin was nice and within walking distance to coffee shops, town and the lake. Just minutes to drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes.

The perfect spot!

We stayed here while in town planning a wedding and it was the perfect location! The house is beautiful and so taken care of, we immediately felt at home! It was in such a great spot to easily walk to restaurants and shops in downtown Glen Arbor. We will definitely be back!

Being downtown meant we could do more activities with less effort. We are now spoiled. This is the perfect place to stay in Glen Arbor.

Beautiful Bluebird

We absolutely loved this property. It’s a quaint home but perfect for 4-5 people. Very clean and had everything we needed. The location was perfect as you could walk to everything in Glen Arbor but also drive quickly to Sleeping Bear Dunes & a few other coastal towns as well. If we are in the area again we will stay again and Would highly recommend this house!

Adorable and so convenient

Very convenient location and adorable home. It was a picture perfect experience as we were able to walk to different shops, restaurants, and really enjoy Glen Arbor and just a few minutes away from Sleep Bear Dunes and great hiking. Clean and comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay and the location was great. Now that we have checked out and we left the unit in great condition, we were wondering about the 1,500 damage deposit being returned to us. Short trip to Glen Arbor

Nice little cottage with a great location in Glen Arbor. Walking distance to the lakes, heritage path, grocery, park, shopping and restaurants. Only suggestion is to have a better equipped kitchen. Most must eat out as to cook on site you must bring what you need.

Nice place to stay in Glen Arbor

Nice place to stay in Glen Arbor with easy walking distance to stores and Lake Michigan. But I have three suggestions for improvement. First, add grab bars to the shower to avoid slips and falls. Second, add dimmer switches to the overhead spotlights in the kitchen and living area; they are too glaring to enable easy reading or internet browsingt. Third, dining-in is difficult because the table for that purpose is way too small. Consider replacing with a rectangular table and perhaps put that adjacent to the front window and then move the sofa back toward the interior to allow for that.

Bluebird has been rented for the past four years (to wonderful reviews), and as it's a home that I privately own, and even after Leelanau Vacation Rentals was sold, we decided to keep renting Bluebird on our own, as we are directly across the street in our real estate office at Leelanau Vacation Realty.
