Phenomenal Host in Peter, responded within 10 mins of any correspondence. Absolutely beautiful, immaculate property. My wife and I had everything we would ever need to enjoy a nice, secluded get away, even cooking a lobster bake with every accessory imaginable in the kitchen to pull it off. It was great to see the past guests would leave items in the pantry that weren't used during their trips for others to enjoy. The woodstove, and abundance of wood provided, was my favorite while weather was in the teens and below. Spacious environment, can't wait to go back in the summer and fall to experience this again. Thank you Peter!

Nice place for a family

Trickery moose

We had a wonderful time staying at the Trickey Moose. The house was lovely, very comfortable, and well appointed. The location is terrific and a beautiful short walk to the beach. We would definitely recommend this property.

REALLY RELAXING

Very comfortable, clean and spacious. Great place for a family getaway. Location is excellent for nearby restaurants and water activities. Ping Pong and air hockey at the home brought added fun! Beautiful yard and deck!

What a nice location

We enjoyed our stay immensely! Everything we needed was there including a pantry of items from past guests. It was quiet and we were able to enjoy some great family time! Peter was gracious and easy to work with and the card and champagne for a wedding anniversary was sweet. We look forward to staying there again when we return to Maine.

Great house and location

Nice home that sleeps 8 comfortably. Location just a 5 minute drive to causeway in Naples. We used the firepit every night for hanging outside on the deck, the beds are comfortable and the house was well stocked with towels and kitchen essentials. I definitely recommend this home for your family. Our host was very responsive to our needs.

Very Pleasant stay!

We had 7 people in our party and the home had more than enough space. Kitchen was very well stocked with plates, utensils pots etc. Pantry had several items also. It was a lovely stay and would definitely book again.

Restful weekend

My family had a lovely and restful long weekend at Trickey Moose. The weather wasn’t great but the house has lots of comfortable areas to hang out and read, play games and watch tv. And when the rain stopped, we took a short trip to the lake and had the beach to ourselves. Simply lovely!

Trickey Moose Vacation

Very clean and comfortable. Plenty of space to relax and reflect. We all really liked the openness. Great deck. Comfortable furniture. High quality appliances and well outfitted kitchen.

Long weekend with the family

Nice house for a long weekend family stay, we enjoyed out time there! Weather was not ideal, but we were able to use kayaks on the Trickey pond, very nice small beach only a short ride away. House had everything we need, beds were comfortable and games at the house were fun for the entire family. Owner responded right away when we called regarding the small issue we had.

Trickery weekend

Property was beautiful, house was lovely. Only sort of complaint would be its next to noisy main road and the skylights in the bedroom made it difficult for me to sleep in at all. Otherwise it was a great house we saw lots of fireflies, chipmunks and a Ground Hog!

Tricky Moose house, Naples, Maine

Great spacious house, very clean, central air, stocked with everything you'd need. Mattresses very comfy. Enjoyed the newer grille and fire pit on large deck overlooking a large private yard. Plenty of parking. Having access to a private association beach on Tricky Pond was very enjoyable. Swam every day. House was located in a very convenient location, just a little over a mile from the downtown Naples Causeway. Would certainly consider renting again.

I live in Oregon but grew up and went to college in Maine. I rented Peter and family’s place a few weeks ago to spend some family time with my parents and brothers and my college friend. This was my favorite southern Maine VRBO rental. Beautiful, spacious and clean and we had an amazing time staying here. Well appointed kitchen, comfy beds and amenities. Flawless communication with the owner. I will absolutely rent this home again. Thank you Peter and family! -Kevin

Perfect house for a family retreat

The owner was very responsive and made himself available for any questions. Overall the house was well taken care of and well supplied to meet all our needs. Taking the kayaks on the Trickey Pond was time well spent. The double Waffle iron was a big hit with the family. We had ages 20 to 86 with us and the house afforded everyone to have a great time. We plan to come back. If I had to come up with a negative item, I would say it was close to the main road so we could hear cars driving by when we were outside or had the windows open but that was a minor inconvenience.

Beautiful house, perfect for us!

This was a very nice house, open layout, super comfortable. We were 7 old friends (60’s) getting together. Roomy back patio, new grill, open floorplan, nice open living room, dining room that fit us all. Kitchen was well appointed and the “community closet” was cool. Nice beach a short walk/drive down the road. Big driveway. Owners very nice and excellent communication. Only thing we needed to buy after a few days was tp! Maybe just put an extra pack in cabinet! Otherwise fantastic!

Wonderful house in Naples

5 of us stayed at Tricky Moose family retreat, to attend the wedding not 5 minutes down the road. The bedrooms were ample in size, very comfortable, quiet and nice and dark at night. The living room was spacious and fun to hang out in to watch TV or play air hockey. The deck w umbrella was also really nice. Overall, the space was great for 3-4 couples easily. The kitchen and pantry well appointed with the basics, very easy to prepare meals. Only complaint is the shower in the master bathroom has practically no pressure and it was nearly impossible to shower in there. Also, you have to look at the listing carefully; if you only looked at the photos you would assume the property is right on the water, and it is not. The beach access point is a short drive away. The arrangement of the photos clearly indicates that it IS beach front, so that was a bit disappointing. Very easy to get to from downtown Naples, convenient to shopping, supermarket, ice cream etc...Great Spot!
