Welcome to 38285 Clearwater Court! This dog-friendly, one-level ranch home in Ocean View, Delaware, is the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the coast. Clean, airy, and thoughtfully laid out, the three-bedroom, two-bath single-family house sits just 2.5 miles from Bethany Beach. Inside, you'll find a lovely primary suite with an ensuite bathroom and direct access to the deck, a well-appointed kitchen that will satisfy any home chef, and a dining area that seats up to nine guests. The home also includes central air conditioning, a full washer and dryer, Wi-Fi, ceiling fans, and private parking—making it an easy, comfortable choice for small families or groups of friends eager to make lasting beach memories together.
The home is located in the charming Cedar Landing community, a quaint neighborhood that feels tucked away yet close to everything. Local restaurants are within walking distance, including Big Fish Grill, Cedar Land+Sea Kitchen for an upscale meal, and Bethany Bay Brewing for a laid-back evening. You're also about a mile from James Farm Ecological Preserve, where you can explore hiking trails or enjoy a shallow bay beach that's especially great for kids. Back at the house, outdoor living shines with a spacious rear deck featuring seating and a gas grill, a large enclosed backyard ideal for pets and play, and a double-car garage that's been converted into an extra hangout area with additional seating and a bonus refrigerator.

Lovely home in Oceanview

The home was lovely and very comfortable for our family of 6. Fenced in yard and neighborhood was great for our dog. The kitchen was well equipped and many good restaurants lose by. We would definitely rent again.

Perfect Family Vacation

Lovely home in a great neighborhood. Walk to the pool. Short drive to beach, boardwak and playground, but away from the crowds. Close to nature walk/hike that was easy for little ones. We would definitely go back!!

Great stay

Enjoyed this house and yard. The community was really nice with great pool , tennis and easy access to boat ramp for kayak. House was very comfortable and clean and easy to use. It was very quiet too. Easy access to Bethany Beach and neighboring beach communities. The James Farm Ecological reserve was a great place to bring our dog and kayak too. We loved it

Exceeded expectations

We had a seamless transition into our vacation mode. The home was wonderful and had all the luxuries of home. I was grateful for all the information contained in the comprehensive manual. I would stay again in the future.

Beautiful House and fenced yard

The house is beautiful and with the pool and pickle ball court across the street there was always something to do. The fenced in yard was great for the dog. The girls enjoyed riding their bikes in the neighborhood. We watched the sunset on the bay on kayaks and paddle boards. There were lots of waterways for kayaking. We went to Dewey Beach to para sail, go on the banana boat and for lunch. The only downside was beach access. We had to go to Bethany Beach to park for beach access or up to Delaware State Park. A lot of the beach area along the main road was gated. It really isn't that big of a problem though. The house was perfect for us. Very clean and open concept kitchen, dining, living area. The back deck and fenced in yard were very nice. House was well stocked with everything we could have needed even beach chairs and umbrellas It was a wonderful vacation!

Almost everything was great!!

House is very clean, and has a great location. Only problem with the property is that the road and driveway completely flood out as does the backyard which makes getting in and out of the property a bit difficult.Also, it is very surprising to us that we were expected to purchase a propane tank for the grill. Why would any guest do that?? all the folks I spoke with who have rented thru VRBO were very surprised. SOOOOOO we never got to use the grill which I had planned for 2 nights dinner. The cleaning crew showed up at 8:30 am. Why? they said the owner told them we left. We had not left, my husband and daughter went for gas. They were very agitated and left. This makes me think a neighbor was watching us. Very uncomfortable. I don't think we would stay again due to the flooding, and the propane. Too bad because otherwise it was pretty good.

Beach Trip

Overall everything was great. I don’t like to complain but there were a couple of things that were disappointing. The listing shows finished space in the garage with a refrigerator/ freezer. We thought this would be living space as we had 3 adults, 2 teenagers, and a 4 year old. We realized it was not a great area for hanging out as it has spiders, the small air conditioner didn’t really cool it down, and was not particularly clean, it’s a garage. This meant that all of us had to be in the same living space which wasn’t ideal. Not the end of the world, just wish I had realized that. Also, the refrigerator in the garage did not work which was inconvenient as we hoped to keep drinks and food there. The only other problem, it was too far to the beach or anything that teenagers would like to do. If we had only adults it would have been fine but we were constantly driving into downtown Bethany. Nothing is within walking distance. The neighborhood is lovely and quiet and the house was comfortable and had most everything we needed for our week.
