This space us beautiful, clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Right next to Vondel park and within walking distance to grocery and restaurants.paul was incredibly helpful with info and directions!

What a charming place to stay while we were in Amsterdam, along with charming and helpful hosts. Staying right on a canal in a nice neighborhood with convenient restaurants, grocery store and a beautiful park. We enjoyed all the extra treats provided daily along with daily housekeeping. The veranda was lovely with all the greenery, potted flowers, trees and lots of birds chirping and singing. Paul was quick to respond to any questions or requests. We visited Amsterdam primarily for the museums and found both the Rijks and Van Gogh museums close to the property. Both were amazing!

We loved everything about our stay here. The apartment is lovely, with a cosy, homey, rustically elegant vibe, a nicely equipped kitchen, a very comfortable canopy bed, and sitting areas both inside and out on the heated veranda looking out on a green garden space full of greenery and bird song. The hosts provide numerous extras that are lovely little surprises, and they are very helpful and responsive to any questions you may have. The location is across a short bridge from Vondelpark, which is a treat to explore, and easy walking distance to great public transportation options. Highly recommend!

Paul was so helpful and friendly! The location is close to a beautiful park and easy distance to the city center without being near to the city congestion. A short walk to transportation and lots of restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

If it’s just the 2 of you, look no further!! Charming with a beautiful private garden and everything you need…kitchen stocked even with unexpected complimentary items. Paul and Karen are delightful and were very thorough in instruction and advice. Very attentive, caring and quick to respond. Paul literally “ran the extra mile “ when we checked out as we left our chargers behind. He ran several blocks to return them to us! They also left us little local treats and beverages during our stay. Right on canal, A couple steps from Vondelpark, quick walk to the Tram…one of the best places we’ve ever stayed!

The bed and breakfast apartment was so tastefully decorated with soft colours/ neutral. Not over cluttered; just the necessities like enough drinking glasses. Few lite snacks, breakfast cereals, milk. The bed was very comfortable- easy to control heat/ cooling. The only surprise was no sink near the toilet so you’d go to the kitchen sink. Perhaps some dish soap in the kitchen for drink cups would be helpful. But we definitely 10/10 would recommend. The park was a lovely walking distances and we easily walked to the open market and stroop wafel workshop.

A true 10‑star stay!The place is incredibly cozy, with a charming cottage feel and a fully equipped kitchen. The toilet is separate from the shower, everything is spotless, and there’s even a hair dryer provided. Our host, Paul, was exceptional—he welcomed us personally, showed us around, and surprised us with thoughtful treats like chocolates, tiny pastries, and a delicious liqueur. He also recommended great spots to visit.The location is perfect: close to all the fun and attractions, yet far enough from noisy areas to enjoy real peace and quiet. A supermarket is just around the corner, and there are plenty of nice restaurants and bars nearby. The tram is only a 5‑minute walk away, making it super easy to reach the central station.We absolutely loved our stay here. Highly, highly recommended.

Paul and Karen’s place is a true gem in an already beautiful city. Paul greeted us at the door with such warmth and genuineness to welcome us and show us their space and also tell us all about Amsterdam and what it has to offer. The location is just a short walk to multiple public transportation stops that take you straight into the city center and the neighborhood itself has loads of shops, food, pubs, grocery stores etc within very short walking distance. The attention to detail inside the space was thoughtful and did not go unnoticed. We were very comfortable during our stay and had all the amenities we needed and more. I would highly recommend staying here and would love to return should we find ourselves back in Amsterdam.

Paul and Karen were the best hosts. The bnb is fully stocked with all the necessities; and super quiet. We loved sleeping with the doors open, waking up to the sweet birds singing to us. Highly recommend for a couple or as we did, best friends. Super excited to visit them again.

I couldn’t fault this property at all, it exceeded our expectations. The location was absolutely fabulous, very close to all amenities and vondlepark. The setting was very picturesque and the accommodation itself was better than it looked in the pictures. The personal touches by the hosts, like a number of yummy treats during our stay were so unexpected and very thoughtful. I would love to stay there again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone else.

Paul hat mich sehr nett persönlich empfangen und die Unterkunft gezeigt. Es ist ein sehr schönes Apartment, liebevoll und stilvoll eingerichtet. Es waren sogar Tee Kaffee Bier Knabber-zeug und Frühstücks flocken zur Verfügung. Die Matratze war super und das Frühstück auf der Terrasse ( uneinsehbar von Pfanzen umgeben)habe ich sehr genossen mit der Wärmelampe über dem Tisch. Es hat mir an nichts gefehlt. Die Tramhaltestelle Nr 2 ist nur 5 Minuten entfernt und bringt einen in die Innenstadt. Es war ein empfehlenswerter sehr schöner Aufentkalt und ich komme gerne wieder.
