Magnifique chalet de plage entre les autoroutes à Kill Devil Hills NC. Ce chalet comprend 5 chambres, 3 salles de bain complètes, un grand salon, une cuisine et une salle à manger pouvant accueillir 16 personnes. Salle de jeux avec table de billard, Air Hockey, écran plat et table de ping-pong. Kids Den avec TV et DVD. Clôturé dans la cour arrière et douche extérieure

À distance de marche de la plage à environ 2 pâtés de maisons ou 300 mètres. Awful Arthur's Restaurant, dépanneur et centre commercial tous accessibles à pied. Kmart, Théâtre, Food Lion, Belk's et shopping à moins de 1/2 mile. 5-10 minutes pour Nags Head, Kitty Hawk, Wright Brothers Memorial. Une excellente excursion d'une journée serait de descendre la plage et de voir le meilleur des rives extérieures. Un court trajet en voiture à travers les régions de Rodanthe, Waves, Salvo et Hatteras vous amène au ferry et à 30 minutes de trajet jusqu'à Ocracoke. Ce serait vraiment une incroyable aventure d'une journée.

Regardez le lever du soleil avec votre café du matin. Pratique pour le golf, le shopping, la gastronomie et les visites touristiques. L'océan Atlantique rafraîchissant est à quelques pas.

Great clean house close to everything. Downstairs living area with pool table was perfect for our teenagers and the fact it was pet friendly was a huge plus. Will rent again!

Location is fantastic. Husband and I are in our fifties and not in tiptop shape. Walk to the beach is easy. House was big enough for 10 of us and great set up. Nice fenced yard for dogs. Perfect for us…will come again!! Now if only the jellyfish stay away…..lol

Overall we had a nice stay. There are some things in the Vrbo listing that are incorrect and should be updated: WiFi info, the availability of towels/sheets, the check out time is different on the info sheet at the house vs the Vrbo listing. The AC stopped working, but the owner had someone out to fix it the next day so no big. Location is fantastic.

Family Vacation 2025

We really enjoyed our stay at Bacon in the Sun. The location is great, so close to many stores and restaurants and a fairly short walk to the pier and beach. The side street was great for biking with the bikes provided in the shed. The layout of the house was nice for our family with the back bedrooms where little kids were sleeping away from the living room and the downstairs giving space for the older kids to hang out. The outside shower was also great. This is an older beach house that has been made very cozy and inviting. We loved the convenience of the pier being so close. We saw dolphins swimming at the beach 3 separate days and saw someone catch a stingray from the pier and successfully release.

Perfect Labor Day getaway

This was a wonderful stay . Location was great, very short walk to the beach and to Avalon pier ( great food and entertainment there btw). Home was clean and spacious . Well equipped kitchen if you want to cook ( We chose to enjoy local foods).Owners/host were very gracious and responded quickly . I will definitely stay here again !

Great family house.

Stayed over Thanksgiving and kitchen had everything we needed for a proper meal! Property just as description says! Clean and very easy to communicate with owners. Family of 9 had lots of room to play pool and ping pong, walked to fishing pier and tie dye shop. Would definitely stay again. Thanks.

Relaxing week near Avalon Pier

Wonderful birthday week!

I have to say this was one of the cleanest homes we have rented in the Outer Banks in many years. It has a great layout for family, with a game room and plenty of room for everyone to spread out. They provided all the amenities that you could possibly need for a great week. Thanks to the owners for a very enjoyable birthday vacation.

Our vacation.

We really enjoyed the house. It was perfect for our family. There were many things to do nearby. The fenced in side yard was perfect for our dogs, giving them a chance to run outside unleashed. Thank you for offering this house.

A Week Bacon In The Sun

Overall the cottage is comfortable, reasonably close to the beach as well as other restaurants and places we like to visit. There were a few items of safety concern, mostly because of the 1-6 year olds that were with us, that I submitted to the owner and property manager who took care of them immediately. We love the area and would be happy to return to this cottage.

Perfect House for Family

Overall we had a wonderful stay at “Bacon in the sun” and definitely want to stay again. We had a few problem when we arrived and I called owner and he made them right quickly. They are a joy to work with. Once again can’t wait to plan our next trip with this house in mind.
