Escape to Black Bear Cabin – a charming 2-bedroom, 1-bath log cabin tucked away in the peaceful woods of the North Georgia mountains, just a short drive from Ellijay and Blue Ridge. This cozy hideaway offers the perfect mix of rustic charm and modern comfort, ideal for couples or small families looking to relax, recharge, and reconnect with nature.

The Space:
Step inside to warm wood interiors, a fully stocked kitchen, and a comfortable living space complete with a Roku TV, books, games, and an electric fireplace.

Conveniently located between Ellijay and Blue Ridge, Black Bear Cabin puts you close to hiking trails, waterfalls, apple orchards, local wineries, and all the small-town charm the region is known for.

SLEEPING:
Bedroom 1: King bed with soft linens and memory foam mattress
Bedroom 2: Queen bed, great for kids or additional guests, pack n play available as well.
The clean, updated bathroom comes stocked with towels and toiletries.

OUTDOOR FEATURES:
* Hot tub for soaking under the stars
* Covered porch with classic rocking chairs and seasonal mountain views
* Fire pit area surrounded by trees – ideal for late-night s’mores and stories
* Wildlife sightings – don’t be surprised if a curious deer or even a black bear wanders by!

Fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, coffee pot, Keurig, toaster, cooking basics, dishware & flatware, high chair, salt/pepper

GENERAL:
WiFi, central A/C & heating, linens/towels, washer/dryer, starter pack with laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags

ACCESS:
Our cabin is just a short jaunt off of highway 515 on Pink Pig Lane. The single lane road is paved for easier access, 4WD is recommended in the colder months. The driveway is gravel and accommodates two vehicles. We are just a mile from the highway so some road noise is present. There are stairs up to the porch but none inside the cabin.

Please note:
The drive leading up to the cabin (Pink Pig Lane ) is a paved, one-lane road with several switchbacks. Our minivan handles the road without any trouble, but you will get to show off your fine-tuned turning skills in a few places

Our stay at this cabin was great. It is not too far from the main road but far enough for a beautiful view. It is super easy to get to and our Ford Expedition 2WD handled the gravel drive well. The cabin has everything that you need and was so cozy and quaint. It was clean. Communication was top notch, literally. We could not have asked for a better weekend stay.

Lovely cabin. Clean and comfortable. Our host answered all of our questions promptly. As it was December and the weather was cold, we didn't use the outside amenities, but they seemed very nice.

Very nice, comfortable cabin with all the amenities for a relaxing mountain retreat. The owners have everything you could want or need. Centrally located between Ellijay and Blue Ridge with lots of options for food, shopping, and exploring.

We stayed at Phil & Becky's cabin as it was midway between Ellijay's Apple Festival and our plans to visit Blue Ridge; it ended up being the best location!! Over the course of 3 days/2 nights, we were able to enjoy the all of the amenities -- hot tub and fire pit included! Despite one of the days being a wash in terms of rain, we thoroughly enjoyed watching movies on the TV and making lunch in the kitchen. With the Pink Pig at the bottom of the hill, there was plenty of weekend BBQ. We also had time to check out Expedition: Bigfoot, which was on the way to Blue Ridge. The short drives to places we like to visit around Cherry Log AND the attentive messaging from the owners during the booking process and visit, make this a cabin we'll likely visit again!!

The cabin was very cozy. This is a beautiful property, it was clean and comfy, and conveniently located between Blue Ridge and Ellijay. The hosts are very communicative and helpful. We had all the comforts of home in the kitchen and family room, and the bed we slept in was very comfortable. Highly recommend this cabin for your stay in the area.

We enjoyed this cabin! It is up in a pretty steep mountain- so not completely suitable for very young children that want to go explore but that’s no one’s fault. It’s a beautiful cabin on the mountain, had everything we need for a cozy and quiet stay. Hosts were very responsive as well!

Great experience! Excellent cabin. What an amazing cabin and unique experience! It was my partner’s birthday and we really enjoyed the space as well as the area. The Apple orchard was quite an adventure. The driveway needs to be paved because it’s a deep dip that makes it extremely difficult to navigate to the cabin. Everything else was a 10/10.

We enjoyed our stay. It is a cute cabin tucked away in the woods. The owners were very receptive to communication and quickly addressed needed items. This is a great place in a really well located spot! Close to Ellijay, Blue Ridge, white water rafting, vineyards, trailheads, etc. Very much recommended.

Such a relaxing property. I spent hours in the hot tub and by the fire pit. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the kitchen had all I needed to cook meals. Perfectly placed between Ellijay and Blue Ridge.

Although the cabin was charming it lacked modern immunities and the advertisement was a bit deceiving. Fire pit and hot tub is not easily accessible. Only entrance is climbing a 8-9 step staircase to the front deck. No back entrance
. Found unclean and even black hair in master bedroom sheets where bed was not changed. I would not recommend this cabin especially if you have any mobility issues at all. A bra fount hanging in master bedroom (not ours). Jim and KarylAnn

We love this cozy cabin! It is perfectly situated between Blue Ridge and Ellijay and surrounded by beautiful mountains and hiking galore. We love watching the sun set from the front porch rockers and the kitchen is fully stocked to make delicious meals with our family. We hope you enjoy this cabin as much as we do!
