The house was quaint and well-furnished; however, the closets could use some hangers. Slight musty smell (possibly due to lack of use). The view outside the kitchen window was less than inviting; the house across the way had trash everywhere. The view from the back deck is amazing. Excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water. Did not use the washer/dryer or stove.

weekend stay

I would stay again, it was conveniently located and short drive to Martinsville Speedway. Kitchen cabinets did have cobwebs and seemed to have an ant problem but nothing to make an issue of. Was worth the stay. loved the no contact check in and out.

Family time

Drove the kids crazy with no Internet lol. Took a few minutes to figure things out but we survived . It was a little further than we anticipated but we managed.

Great Stay

The place was perfect for us! Lots of space inside and out. Location was great for attending the NASCAR races. It was a special home away from our homes!

Exactly what we needed

Host was very kind! Place was just as described! Everything we needed for a weekend at the race track with family! SO close to track. The place is clean and cozy and I didn’t have any complaints! Would definitely stay here again.

Our second stay.

This is our second stay at this property and we will be back! Communication is great. Easy check in. The house is private, clean, air conditioning works perfect, plenty of space. Although we only needed space for two, plenty of space for more. Parking right at the house. Location central to a lot of local attractions. Thanks for a great stay!

Great location to track

Place was great for a weekend stay to visit the track. We had 3 adults- and had enough room for us. Linens/towels were clean, house was clean and had the essentials needed for cooking meals. Race track very easy to get to from this property as well.

Convenient and comfy

Nice touches throughout the house including, linens, soap and lotion, air fresheners, simple decor all to add to the comfort of our stay. Plenty of space, plenty of parking, private and convenient location. Host answered all communication promptly in a friendly, professional manner.

Uncleanliness

The pictures online does not show the kitchen, now I know why. The cabinets had cob webs in it, and were not clean, floors dirty, and stained. The cabinet door broke. The floors slanted in places. The toilet tissue holder was broke, one turn, and it came off. It’s too much to even write that was wrong. I had too much going on for Thanksgiving to contact owner, but could be a nice property with deep cleaning.

Time in Axton, VA

It was very convenient to the Martinsville Speedway. When we entered the house it had a smell of smoke or dampness. There was a squeaky floor by the bathroom that was very annoying. We could not get the TV to work but that was ok since we weren't at the house much. The bed was very comfortable though. Overall it was a good experience.

Pictures were deceiving.

This looks to be a quite old house that needs a very deep cleaning. It has potential to be a very nice property. The host did not answer messages promptly at all.

Blueridge Rock festival

Property was as advertised, well lit and comfortable. All amenities were in good working order and close to restaurants, if we wanted to go out. Days 2 and 3 of the Festival was canceled and this made the Property more enjoyable.

Great place and for us a great location

We came in for music fest (Rooster Walk). Very convenient location. This had all we needed for a place to rest and ready for the next day. Rooms are small but they are fine for what we needed.

Great place to stay for Martinsville race !

House is very conveniently located for our family trip to attend the spring race at Martinsville Speedway. My wife and I, along with our son and two of our grandchildren found the rental perfect for our stay . The house was clean and had everything we needed for our visit. Communication with our host Rachel was great . So much better then staying in a hotel room , with 3 nice bedrooms and a well appointed kitchen. Definitely would stay here again !
