No matter the season, this charming, lakefront home is the perfect option for a family vacation or couples retreat. In warm weather, fish, swim, or set off in your own watercraft for a day on beautiful South Twin Lake or hit the snowmobile trails in winter.

Inside this spacious home, you'll find a sprawling great room that includes a well-equipped, full kitchen with a breakfast bar, a dining table for six for mealtimes or rainy day board games, and an open living area with plenty of seating for your entire group to enjoy time together.

Outdoors, fire up your gas grill and enjoy a cookout on your furnished deck, or gather at the picnic table on the deck overlooking the lake - a great spot to watch for native water fowl out on the water.

Very nice size, quiet except for eagles feeding young in nearby trees, that was awesome. Would of liked better fry pans, couldn’t open garage door to use grill.Was a pleasant stay overall

I would stay here again

View of the lake from the roof of the old boathouse was awesome. We spent most nights there watching the sunset. We saw deer in the yard which was nice. Fishing was OK during our trip. Loved the amount of space for parking my 19 foot alumacraft it made coming and going a breeze

Family Fun at the Lake

We had so much fun making memories with our grown sons and their families! The grandkids enjoyed catching fish, collecting rocks and clams, and jumping off the pier. The updated pier was great to keep our boat in the water all week. We have previously visited in the fall each year and the kids all voted to return next summer too!

Great place with the family. Few cob webs inside. Lots of cob webs around doors. Only 1 pan for cooking on the stove. Stay here several times and will again. No A/C but weather was great so we did need it. Some screens have holes so we didn’t open the windows due to mosquitoes and bugs getting in. Overall great place

Snowmobile trails

The home was very clean and nice we are snowmobilers and i have to say it was disappointing that we couldnt ride to the trails from tje property and slso the garbage in tje garage was over full

Roomy and spacious but no pier on the lake

The house and yard were very nice, private and spacious. The only complaint was the pier was not installed. This lead us to having to launch our boat at a near by landing each day.

Nice location but not as advertised

We picked this place because it had a dock and was pet friendly. Well they never told us the dock wasn’t going to be in. Had I known that I wouldn’t have stayed. We had a boat. It was very inconvenient. The beds were rock hard. The lake and location were great however.

The internet has been checked by our local operations manager. Our team also confirmed that the dock has incurred damage from the multiple thaw and freezes, and the owner is working on getting this remedied. In the meantime, it has been removed from usable amenities and it should have stated in the guest need to know notes that it is not in usable condition. We appreciate you bringing this concern to our attention and allowing us to review it and address it accordingly. We hope you will give us the opportunity to host you again.

Fall getaway

Spacious place for our family. Clean except for a few cobwebs that were not a big deal. Dishwasher needs an upgrade we used it once and decided to wash by hand for future guests to have clean dishes. Heat was not working when we arrived good thing I work in the HVAC industry so we managed to get it to work occasionally to keep the wives happy. Will definitely be back in the future.

Somewhat happy

Were very upset we didn't receive notice sooner then one week before check in. That the dock was destroyed because we rented a poontune boat and couldn't cancel 1500.00 contract Luckly we figured a way to more with extra ankers and didn't lose our money.

Perfect Family Weekend

We came for a fun, family, fall get away. This place was perfect. The fall colors and views were perfect. There was plenty of space inside and out for family fun and relaxing. The two decks offered seating with a lake view for everyone. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything and anything you may need including coffee maker, pots, pans ,baking essentials, crockpots along with dishes and silverware. You don’t need to pack bedding, towels or soap. This beautiful home also includes a washer and dryer. The beds and living room furniture could use updating. New pillows would be great too. We found the place clean but under the furniture could use more attention. Overall we loved our stay and would return to this property for a 4th time.

Over Priced and needs updating

Looks great in pictures and doesn’t look bad when you first walk in. Large open kitchen, living room and dining area. Downside… old and very uncomfortable furniture, mold on walls/doors and garage smelled horrible (garbage piled all over). Stairs into the home was hard packed snow/ice which was extremely slippery. We cleared the ice so nobody would fall. We visited in the winter so cannot comment on yard or lake area but exterior of home looked like it could use some maintenance.

Very nice, spacious home in a great location. Could use some trimming and landscaping. My main beef is this: my group booked this property for a 2 week fishing getaway. When we arrived, the boat dock shown in the property details was stacked at the boat house. We had nowhere to dock our boat, so we were forced to trailer to the public ramp 6 miles away everyday. That cost us extra gas and a lot of lost fishing time. When i told Vacasa that i wanted some type of compensation....crickets!! Im very disappoinred in the misleading listing and Vacasa's performance.

Family Vacation

Overall the house was great. It's got a great open floor plan and right on the lake. We loved using the dock and the lake was great for fishing and swimming. The water at the house is not good. It has a very a high amount of iron and sulfate which makes the water not drinkable at all and stains everything. It caused iron stains on clothes after doing one load of laundry. A little more upkeep on the house would be nice. Some of the screens to the windows have holes which allowed us to not open up on hot days. The faucet in the kitchen needs to be fixed, sprays water everywhere.

Large beautiful lakeside private home

Very accommodating with all the essentials. Loved the large kitchen and open floor plan. We enjoyed watching Netflix; reading books and playing games that were all provided. Private lot with no other houses in site. The pier is the highlight as it’s large enough and stable to sit out at the lake. We liked being able to grill out. (Unfortunately, We had to fill a propane tank as all were empty.) The downside was the house water - extremely high levels of iron, sulfuric smell and it was very hard. It affected the wash and all the faucets. I would also prefer no carpeting in the bedrooms as this is a dog friendly place and there were stains on the carpets upon our arrival. Overall, we would recommend for future stays and would love it if there was a fire pit.

Not as advertised. Filthy. NO DOCK

We booked this home for an end of summer trip for our family. The pictures of the property online make this house look beautiful. It absolutely has the potential to be beautiful! Unfortunately, it's apparent that nobody cares for this place. The outside areas are all overgrown and unkept. There's weeds growing over the sidewalks, the view of the lake is obstructed by overgrown/dead limbs. There's a back patio area that looks like it has multiple years worth of leaves and other debris. Most upsetting for us was the fact that there was no dock. Despite there being multiple pictures of a nice long dock in the listing online. We pulled a boat 4 hours from our home only to find this out upon our arrival! The interior of the home was also subpar. The cleanliness was atrocious. There were pieces of food and popcorn under the couches along with about an ⅛" thick coat of dust. The furniture itself was greasy feeling and stained. We put blankets over everything so we could use the furniture without having to touch it. There were dead flies on the window sills and a bad ant infestation in the kitchen that we dealt with all week. It was a lot of money to us to book this vacation only to be extremely disappointed by what was promised in the listing vs what was delivered. I would not recommend staying at this place to anyone. It's very sad because you can tell that it was once very beautiful and loved. It has the potential to be beautiful again but needs a lot of work and is a long way from it.

Very nice property, but need some maintenance issues taken care of!

This easily could have been five stars, however we had a few minor issues. To start off with, the heat in the home was not working when we arrived! Local property management was quick to arrive at the property to try to correct the issue. Required two different trips by the furnace repair guy. In talking to the property manager, I was told that this was a 'known issue' with this property! Why on earth, with the property in northern Wisconsin in late October (temps in the 34°-45° range) would you think that a defective furnace was okay for renting the home? We had touch and go heat, for the first day and a half of our trip. I have contacted vacasa, and verbo, to discuss a possible small refund for the issue, but no one has reached out to me as of yet. Other things included, clogged shower heads, iced up dehumidifier in the basement causing a very humid indoor climate, and for a fishing destination on one of the premier lakes in northern Wisconsin, it would have been nice to have cleats on the pier to help us moor our boat along with an electrical connection to recharge the boat's batteries! Also, The garbage had not been picked up in weeks possibly months! There was a pile in the garage that was easily from two or three rentals of the place! Again, this was a very nice property, and could have easily been five stars, but if you are charging as much as you do per week for rental, it would be nice if you took some of that money and took care of small maintenance issues!
