Enjoy the best of Lavallette in this oceanfront duplex property a few steps to the white sand beaches, with close proximity to the fantastic restaurants and shops. Fully updated property that can comfortably accommodate 6 people, enjoy reliable 1GB high speed fiber internet, streaming tv (subscriptions needed) , new appliances, HVAC, and for electric car owners, a Tesla Level II wall charger. Outdoor lounges, umbrellas, beach towels, and BBQ grill are available from Memorial Day thru Labor Day. **Note, there is a separate listing for the upper unit. Lavallette is a "Family friendly beach town with nine protected ocean beaches designated for swimming as well as two on the Barnegat Bay. Four of the ocean beaches have specifically designated areas for surfing and surf-fishing. The borough offers tennis, bocce, shuffleboard, basketball and roller blading opportunities on land while Barnegat Bay provides fishing, crabbing, swimming, boating, sailing, windsurfing and other water sports. There is a popular Boardwalk for walkers and joggers

There are also band concerts, fireworks, and Movies on the Bay, held at the Centennial Gazebo and Gardens located at Philadelphia Avenue and the Bayfront."

The house is right on the beach behind a tall bluff. The view from the upper unit is magnificent. And the sound of the waves so soothing! We have stayed there several times, the place is well maintained, the owner is very responsive, and we appreciate the nice upgraded bathrooms , upgraded beds and the well stocked kitchen.Already looking forward to our next stay!

Comfortable stay with best view

Property is clean and well equipped, just bring you personal items. And nothing beats the peaceful location, beautiful view, calming ocean sounds. Easily accommodated six adults.

Great property

We stayed 5 nights in April at this nice property in Lavalette. It is nicely furnished and well decorated. We enjoyed the ocean view. Paula made sure everything was perfect for us. A place to remember!

Beautiful!

Beautiful home with an unbeatable location! Six friends spent the weekend and enjoyed a spacious and comfortable home with many extra touches- umbrellas, a coffee bar, high end linens, a gift bag. High responsive hosts! I might come back though just for the view. People watching on the boardwalk and a front row seat for a view of the beach!

Oceanfront Lavalette Jersey Shore at its best!

We enjoyed a wonderful week off-season (March) at this lovely oceanfront upper unit. The place was immaculate, lovely and very comfortable furnishings. Beautifully decorated and our hosts provided everything for a very nice stay. All bedding was high quality, extra blankets if needed were provided in the closets. Baskets of towels on each bed for each guest. It was a chilly week and the heat worked well and we were very comfortable. The kitchen has everything one needs, including a great 12 cup coffee pot and coffee bar set up. Large dining table that accommodates family meals and game nights! And without question, the view from this upper unit is exceptional! Our hosts left a lovely welcome gift for us, checked in to ensure we had everything we needed and were very responsive before and during our stay. They provided every amenity. I now live in San Diego, but grew up in NJ and the shore is my favorite place - this was a lovely week to enjoy shore and family.

Views, Views, Views!

Wow! What a terrific place! Being originally from NJ, I have always loved Lavalette. And the views here are fantastic! It is a nice little town, which tends to be a little quieter, and yet it is so convenient to the hustle and bustle of nearby boardwalks (with amusements and food) like Point Pleasant, and further down Seaside Heights. We enjoyed looking out from the upper unit's kitchen, family room and dining areas to see the dunes, low key boardwalk, and ocean beyond. The place was so homey and welcoming, with very clean, beach themed decor. Both units have their advantages. The upstairs has the views, and the downstairs has the yard and direct beach access without stairs. The laundry area is a nice feature for longer stays. This home is located one house off the street, similar to a flag lot. So, to access the parking, you must use an access driveway along the house that is on the street. As a result, the parking along side the building is better suited for smaller cars, or you may need to park on the street. Overall, we enjoyed our 6 night stay here immensely during New Year's week. It was truly hard to leave, and we hope to return soon!

Good Afternoon Brian, I’m embarrassed to admit that I was growing a bit concerned that I might not get a review from you as days were passing quickly after the time of your check-out with no word. Yes, I have to admit, I am an unfortunate victim of the ‘New York speed-of-business’ paradigm and pace that that instigates and imposes such unrealistic expectations on others ☹. And then….. I was received an email notification that I did indeed receive a review from Brian! I was flabbergasted and awestruck by the wonderful and inspired words. I am humbled and grateful. Oh and in the way of an update, because of your feedback we had the owner’s closet door secured, purchased a new dishwasher (not for the kickplate but because the sensors were bad and it continued run indefinitely after starting), had the master bath sink unclogged and changed the outside entryway mat. INCREDIBLE!!!

As a group of 8 we rented both units, so please consider this review for both. The units are mirror images of each other, the only difference being the upper unit has a deck that offers a mesmerizing view. Paula & Dwight have done an incredible job in presenting and maintaining a beautiful property, for that alone I applaud you.There is absolutely not even a minor negative thing to be said about this property. As one person in our party said, "this rivals any 5 star hotel I have ever stayed in". The house is meticulous in every way. The upgraded bedding is heavenly, along with high quality linens. Plush towels, wash cloths and basic toiletries are all provided. This is truly, the most incredible VRBO experiences we have ever had. The little things mean so much. Clean (as I said meticulous), comfortable and room for all. Communication was prompt, dare I say almost immediate.Both Paula and Dwight were a pleasure to deal with. They are on their way to becoming Superhosts, for sure. This is truly a year round destination. You will not be disappointed in choosing this property. Thank you Paula & Dwight, continued success in all your efforts. We will see you next year!
