Heaven on Eighth est la maison de vacances idéale située dans la subdivision East Beach de St. Simons Island. Profitez d'une courte promenade de trois minutes à la plage. Notre maison fait face au marais et vous pourrez profiter de beaux couchers de soleil depuis notre deuxième étage ou notre patio. La distance au village est juste un mile et est une promenade pittoresque ou une balade à vélo sur les trottoirs. Tant d'activités et de merveilleux restaurants et boutiques à quelques pas! Douche extérieure chauffée et deux vélos inclus!

Les vues de la maison sont magnifiques. L'intérieur comprend des plafonds voûtés, une grande salle à manger pouvant accueillir 12 personnes, une suite parentale avec salle de bain complète à l'étage, un deuxième rez-de-chaussée avec deuxième cuisine attenante, deux chambres supplémentaires (BR # 3 a une reine et BR # 4 a deux lits jumeaux ). Il y a une salle de bain complète et une demi-baignoire au niveau avec la deuxième chambre à coucher du roi, la chambre à coucher principale et la chambre à coucher jumelle. Les avantages supplémentaires comprennent un barbecue à gaz, deux vélos, douche extérieure chauffée et un buggy de plage pour tirer tous vos effets personnels à la plage. Linge de maison et serviettes fournis.

Beautiful house! We had 4 adults and 3 children (ages 1-6) and fit comfortably. The view is incredible and the house is walking distance to the beach. The host is very responsive, an overall great stay!

Pleasant stay

Tidy, convenient property close to beach. The yard is lovely and the marsh views are fantastic. The only thing we missed while having such beautiful weather was an outdoor dining area. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Kathy, Thanks so much for choosing our house to rent and for the nice review! Just wanted to note for those reading the review that there is a large circular coffee table in front yard overlooking the marsh that's large enough for appetizers and drinks for cocktail hour outdoors. Surrounding the table are 6 new Adirondack ( very comfortable ) chairs. Additionally there are two smaller countertop height tables near our hammock next to two additional chairs. We will look into adding a larger family style table on the covered patio! Thanks again

Fabulous Stay

We had a wonderful stay. The house was in a perfect location and had magnificent views. It was very clean and offered many extras to enjoy the island including bikes, beach buggy and an awesome outdoor fire pit. Host communication was amazing. We cannot wait to return!

The house is in an excellent neighborhood and we had an awesome holiday there. The kitchen and bathrooms could use an update but the sunsets in the marsh made up for this!

So glad you enjoyed your stay! As for kitchen, we recently installed a new Wolf Oven in kitchen and a new stainless steel fridge. The kitchen has granite countertops and marble shelving. One bathroom is brand new and one other one was completely redone 5 years ago with Waterworks fixtures. Glad you liked the neighborhood and sunsets....Sunsets over the marsh are awesome from the house since house faces West, Neighborhood is 100% residential with marsh on one side and Atlantic Ocean on the other. Marsh has a sidewalk that runs the full length of the neighborhood...perfect for walking or running!

Beautiful St Simons Island

The location of this vacation rental is amazing! St Simons Island is gorgeous, very fun place to relax, excellent restaurants & shopping! The negative and sad to say, this house is in dire need of a deep cleaning. Otherwise a perfect stay.

Great stay!!

We had a great time at East Beach House. Lack of TP and soap when we got there. Owner immediately responded and had soap, TP and extra towels delivered. Everything was clean…couldn’t even tell it was a dog friendly rental. Enjoyed the fire pit and the covered porch. Really appreciated Jennifer’s quick response in all communication. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Beach house for a St. Simons stay

4 couples on the island for GSGA Mens golf tournament. House was great. Clean and fully renovated. East Beach is a beautiful area and view of the marsh was really nice. Fire pit and outdoor shower were great extras. Will definitely come back next year.

Lovely property in East Beach

Our family had a great experience at the property. The view of the marsh is exceptional, and we enjoyed roasting marshmallows by the fire pit. The barbecues were great and it was enjoyable to grill local fish, shrimp and seafood. Just a note that you need to bring your own condiments, coffee and sugar. Great house. Kitchen is a bit cramped but not big on being in the kitchen, so not a bother. Bedroom in a bedroom was expected based on reading reviews and description before booking. Nice fire pit. Easy to communicate with host. Lovely stay. Thank you!

The rental home was amazing. Only problem was it smelled of wood varnish VERY heavy fumes. Uncertain why.

Heaven on 8th-Best sunset view on SSI!

Heaven on 8th is the classic East Beach house-comfortable and cozy! Great family spaces and plenty of room. The downstairs mini-kitchen is a great touch. This is the perfect house for several couples or as in our case-parents, children and grandchildren. Truly a 1/4 mile walk to the beach! We have stayed everywhere on SSI there is to stay and East Beach is the best. Heaven on 8th is one of the best choices on East Beach!

Family beach vacation

Our grown children and extended family joined us for a week at St.Simons. The house was perfect for our large group; spacious living area, comfortable bedrooms and nice kitchen with a beautiful long wooden dining table.Everyone’s favorite part of the house was the stunning view of the marsh. The house is beautifully decorated and the art work is especially nice. Great location too; convenient to everything. I don’t think we could have asked for a more perfect place to stay. If you book this house, you won’t be disappointed.Many thanks to the hosts; we had a wonderful time!

A Heavenly Week

We had a very relaxing week. This property is situated in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the beach. It has beautiful sunsets over the marsh. The house is spacious but also offers outdoor space to sit and relax. The worse part of the experience was that it ended so quickly. It is definitely a piece of heaven on Earth.

Marsh View

The house was very comfortable and the view was spectacular. Located in a charming neighborhood. Very peaceful. Lots of long walks on the beach. A bird watcher’s paradise. People are very friendly. Each path leading to the beach is unique. Tried a different one each day. I hated to leave. I will definitely be back. The house was perfect.

Great Stay After Hiccup

We had a minor hiccup that the place hadn't been cleaned when we got there. The host was fantastic in correcting the issue. Her cleaners read the schedule wrong and didn't have the place ready. She was very apologetic and got the cleaning people there that night. She was fantastic in solving the issue. It is a beautiful place, wish we could've stayed longer!

Heaven on a Eighth did not disappoint!

This rental home did not disappoint! The decor was nice, all the amenities were fabulous and all the extras were fantastic. Having two full size refrigerators was a plus and having 3 air conditioning units was super nice! The outside shower was a blessing after coming in from the beach and the covered area and grill was perfect. We cooked out and ate dinner with the sunset going down over the marsh and loved the same view from inside the house as well! The Rubbermaid beach tote was a life saver getting to the beach and the 2 bikes were a comfortable ride throughout the island. We have already requested to return next summer! Thank you for everything you have done to make this beach rental so special!

Nice marsh view

We arrived an hour after check-in time to find the cleaning people still at the house. We had to leave for an hour and a half, for them to finish, before we could get into the house. Then had a problem with the heating unit in the downstairs king bedroom which finally caused the person staying in that room to have to move in with another person in the twin bedroom. All that being the case, Jennifer was quick to try to fix all the issues and responded in a timely manner. The house is in a beautiful spot and the marsh at sunset was so pretty.

Wine Down

The house was nice. It was not as described online. The pictures makes it look like it is a jack and jill type of setup. It was nice to have my whole family at the dinning room table. However the kitchen is very small. I was upset that I only brought k-cups and then couldn't find the machine for them. It was found however I was unnerved. Then it didn't help that there was only 1 trash bag in the kitchen. It was like not having a spare tire. We all enjoyed the beach being within walking distance. We enjoyed St Simon's City also.

VRBO online description of bedroom layout is, and has always been, perfectly accurate. The dining room table is a favorite of ours as well; it's a long English farm table with ten ladder back chairs. Lots of happy travelers enjoy hosting birthday parties and holiday dinners in that room with half mile views across the marsh. Kitchen is well appointed with Carrara marble backsplash and shelving with granite counters with deep double sinks. Brand new electric Wolf oven with 4 gas stovetop burners for the chef in the family. Krupps coffee maker, in addition to two normal ones, plus toaster oven, microwave and even a VitaMix blender for breakfast smoothies.

Sisters weekend getaway

This home was very beautiful and accommodated my group of 7. The owner responds in a timely matter. It was only minutes away from the beach and the owner provided 2 bicycles for your use.

Great place for a vacation.

Great location and view. The bedroom set up was awkward with children, that is having to walk thru room to get to second masters. Wonderful house. Truly enjoyed it.

My husband and I bought our St Simon's house the year we were married and have enjoyed spending time there with our two children, extended family and friends. We both enjoyed St Simon's with our families as children and are continuing the tradition.
It is a wonderful escape from Atlanta which is our full time residence.

Marsh views (sunsets/ marsh birds) from our second story main living space or Sea Island Forge Firepit seating area, heated outdoor shower, 2 king beds , 1 queen, 2 twins, 2 blocks from the beach, professionally decorated home! Master bedroom on main/second floor with a king PLUS an additional master suit with king bed and full kitchenette for another couple. Two adult bikes come with the house. Works well for two families!
