Welcome to the Sawyer Cottage! This bright and cheery 3 bedroom 2 bath home is located in beautiful Harbor Country. From the moment you step through the front door this home is drenched in sunlight throughout! With it's tasteful decorating and open concept layout, this home is a true "winner'!

The backside of the Sawyer Cottage is home to a huge 4 season porch. In the warmer months our guests can open up the windows and take in the Michigan breeze, in the cooler months you can turn up the heat and enjoy the leaves changing or the snow falling.

Just off of the kitchen and living room there is an expansive deck with plenty of room to relax or enjoy the hot tub!

Situated just 1.5 miles from the Warren Dunes State Park and a short drive to restaurants, breweries and wineries, the Sawyer Cottage is the perfect spot to create lifelong memories with friends and family.

Perfect Cottage in the Woods

We enjoyed our weekend getaway on the property. The property was very clean and had everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable. The backyard was amazing, playset for kids, firepit, hot tub, and a beautiful screened in porch. We definitely would stay at this property again. Great value; wonderful retreat!

Wonderful Family Vacation

We had the most wonderful stay at this property. It has every amenity that we could possibly think of! The kids had so many activities and games to play with we never even got into our own. Kitchen was well stocked and everything we needed for the beach was available. Gina was great and made commutation very easy! We will certainly be back for another visit.

Serenity in Sawyer.

This was my second stay in 3 months at this gorgeous property. Everything was as immaculate and prepared as the first time. The location allows for complete privacy but just a short drive from all of the areas must-sees. The kitchen is well stocked and the furnishings are far superior to most rentals. We appreciated the attention to detail and the thoughtfully provided umbrellas and beach chairs. Will not hesitate to book again.

Beautiful home in a great area

This adorable home exceeded our expectations. It was extremely comfortable for 3 adults, with thought put into every detail. We appreciated how well stocked it was and loved our peaceful escape from the city. Sawyer is a great little town with surprisingly good restaurants, coffee shops and cocktail bars. You're close to the lake and many parks and then just a short drive to so many other harbor towns that have great breweries and restaurants to offer. We'll be back!

Excellent Stay at Sawyer Cottage

My family and I had a wonderful time at the Sawyer Cottage. We had 6 adults, 3 teenagers, and a 6 year old all comfortably stay in the house. The cottage itself is extremely nice and well stocked. The bedding was all so comfortable that we asked the owners where they got it! All the appliances and furniture are top quality too. Then, there’s the outdoor spaces. The deck is huge and the hot tub is a great touch. There’s a separate area for fires, a play set for kids, and the entire outdoor space is set up like a garden out of a Dickens novel. All this and there is plenty of privacy. Lastly, the location is supreme. It’s a short walk to Warren Dunes, short drives to surrounding towns and numerous restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, etc. Some in our party even went to an outlet mall while the rest of us went to the beach. All in all, I cannot recommend this cottage enough. As someone with extensive vacation rental experience, I can safely say it’s hard to beat Sawyer Cottage.

Absolute Perfection Start to Finish

This home (and the entire rental experience), could not have been any better. I can not imagine needing anything that wasn't provided. An unexpected BandAid? Got it. Wood for the fire pit? Got it. Sound machine? Yup, in every bedroom. While all of the necessary needs are met, it's the attention to detail and unexpected amenities that take it over the top. The location was meticulously maintained and a short drive to several harbor communities and the charm they provide. We were a group of besties that needed a short getaway from work, husbands, kids and the stresses that bog us down every day. Already looking to return with family and would most definitely rent this location again.

Great stay at this adorable cottage!

We had a lovely fall girl’s weekend (two little ones, mom, and grandma) in Sawyer. Perfect escape from the city. The location has a great woodsy feel, but is a short 5-10 min drive to beaches, restaurants, and local attractions. If you’re willing to drive 15-20 mins then you have even more options in other cute beach towns to the north and south. The cottage is very cozy, super clean, and has great space. The kitchen was well stocked. The master bed is so plush and fluffy, I didn’t want to get out, and the shower has great water pressure, which I appreciate. Great deck, patio, and playscape. The hot tub was the perfect way to end the day after the kiddos went to sleep. I highly recommend this cottage and town! We had a fun fall weekend and I definitely want to rent in the summer to enjoy the beautiful beaches even more.
