The Grande Rockies Resort features an amazing indoor waterpark, equipped with an inviting heated pool, thrilling three-story waterslide, and a lively kids` splash pool. 🔎 IMPORTANT NOTES & POLICIES - PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING

⚠️ PRE-ARRIVAL REQUIREMENTS (AFTER BOOKING) ⚠️

To ensure a smooth and secure check-in, ALL guests must complete a short pre-arrival process AFTER the booking is confirmed. This is managed through a preferred third-party guest portal and helps protect both you and the home. This verified process keeps everything platform compliant and ensures a worry-free stay for both guests and hosts.

Here’s what to expect:

‣ Damage Waiver ($56-82 depending on length of stay) – Covers accidental damage up to $700. (No deposit hold required)

‣ Refundable Security Deposit ($700) – Pre-authorization only; collected 24 hours before check-in and released 5 days after checkout if no damages, missing items, or issues.

❗PLEASE NOTE: The damage waiver covers accidental damage only. It does not cover smoking, intentional or negligent damage, policy violations, or pet-related issues. Such costs may be charged separately or submitted through a Resolution Center. By booking, you confirm your agreement to these terms.

‣ We are strict on check-in and check-out times due to cleaning needs, but may allow up to 2 hours of flexibility with at least 24 hours’ notice. A small fee may apply and is subject to approval, as early arrivals or late departures aren’t always possible. If the home is ready sooner, we’ll let you know.

‣ Please double-check before leaving. Items left behind are stored for 14 days, then donated or discarded. Coordination for pickup or return will incur a shipping and admin fee. We are not responsible for items left, lost, or damaged after departure.

‣ We do not have access to a mailbox at this property. Please do not use our address for receiving mail. If you require postal service, contact a local post office for options. For larger parcels, arrange door drop-off or depot pick-up. We are not responsible for retrieving, storing, or replacing any mail or packages that are lost, delayed, or mis-delivered.

🛠 MAINTENANCE & ACCESS
‣ Emergencies may require entry without notice. For non-emergencies, we will always provide notice where possible. Guests will always receive a message from us as soon as possible in all situations.

💳 CANCELLATION & PAYMENT POLICY
‣ For bookings where Contigo Properties is the payment processor, a 10% non-refundable processing fee applies at the time of booking. Cancellations and refunds follow the Contigo Properties Cancellation Policy provided at reservation for these platforms. If any site displays “free cancellation,” the Contigo Properties policy takes precedence. By booking, guests authorize Contigo Properties to charge the card on file per the agreed payment schedule and acknowledge that chargebacks for authorized transactions are not permitted.

Stay was lovely. Good location and we had a view of the mountains out the patio. Hot tub wasn’t super hot but we liked that you could sit inside or outside in it. Loved the free park pass. Hosts were great at communicating.

Cozy Condo in Canmore

This was a great place to stay for our visit to the Canadian Rockies! Close to Banff, so it was easy to get to the park, and with fun stuff to do in Canmore, which has definitely grown since we were there last. The condo was cozy and clean with no major issues. Would stay here again if we returned to the area.

The view was great to wake up to and using the amenities to have a relaxing stay was awesome I throughly enjoyed sitting on the balcony and having a coffee! My kids really enjoyed the toys available to play with and I felt super comfortable. Also the pool was fun and outdoor hot tub was so cool. The hosts were awesome at checking in and gave great information about the stay. I highly recommend and will definitely come back!

First do not trust your VRBO app when it says ready for check in apparently that's not accurate. We arrived at 3:40 and the cleaners were still cleaning. They came out at 3:59 because they ran out of time but they hadn't finished the job. The floors were soaking wet still, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect the floors had time to dry before check in. The table and counters hadn't been cleaned and were sticky in some parts or had visible crumbs. Once we tiptoed through the wet floors I realized the furniture isn't as pictured on the listing. Additionally there wasn't care or consideration shown to how the place was presented for example nightstands askew. Is it the end of the world no but it doesn't come across as readily presentable. The suite has some wear and tear and could use a bit of tlc. Floors especially. The building is advertised as family friendly but had a bachelor party taking over the water slide. We were supposed to stay 2 nights but the first night there were people yelling in the hallways until 2 and then the unit above starting moving furniture at 3. The hosts response to all my concerns was "there is a front desk for noise complaints." All to say we left a day early the hosts didn't seem all that apologetic. At min. I expected a refund for a cleaning fee I paid but didn't even get a fully cleaned unit for our stay. Wouldnt return and hope the hosts update their listing with accurate photos.

Thank you for your feedback. We will review the items mentioned, including the listing photos, furnishings, and any cleaning concerns, and update or address anything necessary. That said, we do need to clarify that check-in is at 4:00 PM, and our cleaners exited before that time. Arriving before the official check-in time and seeing the turnover still being completed does not mean the unit was not ready for check-in. Freshly mopped floors may also still be drying immediately after cleaning. Our cleaning team works hard to prepare each unit properly, and while occasional timing challenges can happen during a busy schedule, most guests are understanding and respectful toward the staff working to prepare the home for them. This review also leaves out important context regarding the guest interaction. Our team and staff were not treated respectfully while trying to assist. We are always open to legitimate feedback, but we do expect communication to remain respectful on both sides. If there were missed cleaning items, we would have gladly addressed them right away had they been properly reported during the stay, especially since the guest was already at the unit. Regarding noise, this is a shared resort-style building, and issues involving other guests or common areas are properly handled by the front desk/security, which is why that direction was provided. We will review and improve anything necessary, but we do not agree with the full characterization of the stay.
